Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received an IBR approval letter from Navient for my two FFELP loans taking my payment to {$0.00}. The letter illustrates the plan start date as XX/XX/XXXX and the end date as XX/XX/XXXX. All of a sudden, when logging into Navient a few weeks ago, it showed now my payment went from XXXX to {$310.00}, with no notification at all from Navient - I just happened to accidentally stumble across it. I have called Navient three times and have spoken to three different Customer Service reps, each giving me a different answer. I've been told to do nothing - that it was pushed thru again and that it would clear off in 24-48 hours to one telling me that they weren't going to honor the contract and that I'd have to re-apply. It took me weeks to apply last time so they are just trying to make it impossible for me, knowing the process would exceed the now new due date that they slid in. I am not going to re-apply as I'm already approved and have it in writing. I will attach the letter I kept illustrating this approval on their end.

Consumer Complaint: Navient falsely stated in the prior complaint that they sent me a welcome letter. I never received anything from Navient until XXXX of 2020. Navient 's own responses to the first complaint prove that point that they were contacting someone else in XXXX, TN. Where did the welcome letter go? Who did they send the XXXX [ the prior loan servicer ] information to? Did they sent the welcome letter to XXXX, TN. Again, I have never resided there!!!!!! I have never resided in the XXXX at all. How could I update a company about my address and I knew nothing about Navient or XXXX!!!!! All of my student loans had been deferred to to hardship. I would have handled this IF I RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE ACCOUNT. Being truthful is the key. I have never received anything from Navient until XXXX of 2020. I told Navient that I did not, nor have I ever resided in XXXX, TN!!!!! Unfortunately, since I didn't receive an email, after receiving mail from Navient in XXXX of 2020, it reminded me of my complaint against Navient. XXXX XXXX Old Complaint ], since they had never verified sent any verifications to me, and they certainly would have never contacted me in XXXX, TN. That is not me!!! Since XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TN XXXX was given access to the account first that means information is being shared. I never logged into that account and entered that address as the representative stated when she provided me with a link to that account. That means not only was Navient sending person information to someone else they allowed someone else log into the account that is scary!!!! I told Navient to I was concerned about this. Verification was never sent to me. Now you have clarified that you or whatever reason sent mail to soneone else, they logged into the account and then they tired to get me to log into it after I saw the address information on the account that did not belong to me. XXXX During this time you report against my credit too while you send mail somewhere I never lived??? Your response said you mailed a welcome letter. What address did you mail it to? Why did I have to file a complaint against you, while you ignored me from XXXX - plus accept credit reporting!!!! Did you verify who that was in Tennessee before you gave them information [ written and electronic ] +-it 's appears not.

Consumer Complaint: This email is being sent because of the undue burden placed upon me in an attempt to repay a student loan. SUMMARY In XXXX my student loan was consolidated with Navient in the amount of {$21000.00}. To date, I have paid {$74000.00} and STILL have a balance due of {$52000.00}. In addition, I will end up paying back an estimated {$160000.00} in total with the Income Based Repayment Plan currently being offered by Navient. This would be {$140000.00} in interest on a {$21000.00} loan. DETAILED INFORMATION On XX/XX/1996 the original principle on my consolidated FFELP Student Loan was {$21000.00}. Over the last 29 years, I have managed to stay out of defaulting on this loan by making payments totaling XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Dollars and XXXX Cents ( {$74000.00} ). During this time, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Dollars and XXXX XXXX Cents ( {$37000.00} ) in interest has been CAPITALIZED, converted into principle. To pay off this balance using the Income Based Payment Plan, Navient has provided an estimated pay off date ofXX/XX/XXXX. This entails XXXX @ $ XXXX = {$87000.00}, which when added to the {$74000.00} I have already paid would be a total of {$160000.00}. This is an estimated {$140000.00} in addition to the {$21000.00} loan, nearly 7 times what was borrowed! With {$74000.00} already paid, this debt poses an undue financial burden on me and my family.

Consumer Complaint: I took out student loans from Navient and they have ruined my credit score. The school involved, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Colorado, was a predatory lender and encouraged me to take out more loans than necessary and did not inform me that what I could earn for this degree was not enough for payment of the loans. Upon graduation I had to defer the loans for several years until I could afford to pay minimum amounts. During this time they reported me as being delinquent which was not a truth .When I was able to start making payments I had to get a job in my first degree as this one from the XXXX XXXX could not support even the minimum payments. Their reporting me as delinquent, when I was not, has ruined my credit rating. The School, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Colorado has subsequently gone out of business from their unethical practices.

Consumer Complaint: There is no way that these companies investigated this student loan. The same information continues to report on my credit. I honestly don't believe I was late and I don't agree with the total balance that they are reporting on my credit. It continues to report several inaccuracies among the 3 credit reporting agencies from the last student loan company. How is that possible? For example, Each bureau reports that I was late on a different date Also, Hows it possible that youve reported me 90 days late with no late payments prior to that? Wasn't Navient sued by Cfpb before for not applying payments to consumers accounts correctly?
