Consumer Complaint: I have paid off all of my loans with Navient as of XXXX of this year. I previously used direct withdrawal from my checking account to pay my loans. After I paid off my loans and received my " Congratulations! '' statements, with XXXX ( XXXX! ) balance, I still am having the same amount withdrawn from my bank account. I called Navient for resolution, and they directed me to use the email interface from my login. However, I can't use that interface, because my accounts don't exist anymore. So I had to fight to have my complaint escalated. It was finally escalated ( in XXXX ), and the man I spoke to asked me to email him documentation that I was being charged. ( They couldn't look it up, because I have no account, because my accounts are closed, because they are paid off ). So I emailed him my documentation that shows " NAVIENT '' on my bank statements, taking out the same amount monthly. I never received a response. I wrote again, and no response. I wrote to the consumer advocate again in XXXX of this year, and here we are. I have now had 6 extra months of student loan payments withdrawn from my bank account. I can't stop the payment, it's a withdrawal from their end. During a pandemic they are continuing to pull money from me when I have dutifully paid my balance. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: I have a student loan with Navient ( originally Sallie Mae ) that I have been paying on for the last 5 years. I have been on an income driven repayment plan throughout this time. The agreement that I made with Navient was that my payments would be based on my income and that as long as I made my payments each month the entire loan would be forgiven in 20 years. The loan began at $ XXXX and is now $ XXXX due to interest and despite my monthly payments. I've continued to make payments despite my unrest about the loan increasing in good faith that Navient would honor the 20 year loan forgiveness in the end time. I reached out to Navient last month to check on my loan and confirm that amount of years I've have already paid into the 20 year loan forgiveness plan and was informed the loan changed to a 25 year income driven repayment plan. When I explained to the customer service representative for Navient that I did not authorize that change I was told that it would not have changed without my permission. I was then put on hold for 45 minutes then informed that the loan changed because I answered one extra question on my annual renewal dated back to 2017 that I didn't need to answer. The question that I answered would not have disqualified me or changed the loan time frame rather, it was just the fact that I answered one extra question apparently. I asked why I wasn't informed of this change and was given no answer. I asked how to change this back to 20 year loan and was informed I would have to re-apply for the last 5 years again. My loan has only increased in the last 4-5 years despite making all my payments on time. I also noticed on the fafsfa site two loans are in default that shouldn't be. I feel defeated and hopeless that these loans will ever be paid off and that I am only sinking into further debt with Navient. I wrote a letter to Navient explaining my concern and that I was aware of the numerous lawsuits filed by other students for the same reasons and requested a response regarding the matter. I have had no response from Navient thus far and need help to fix this matter. Kindly, Former student

Consumer Complaint: Navient was calling all of my neighbors asking for my contact information because they can not reach me regarding a student loan. They did this last year as well and the XXXX XXXX XXXX complaint board notified them to cease. They have started calling all of them again recently in the past day or two. They have already ruined my credit, but now they are ruining my reputation and the right for privacy. Most of my neighbors do not speak to me anymore. The couple that got the call this morning from Navient asked me to stop having them call them. I never provided my neighbors ' information, so they are using other means to call them to harass me.

Consumer Complaint: Navient this is the documents to confirm your FFELP Consolidation Loan Application and Promissory Note is fake. XXXX XXXX XXXX writes they never been the grantor/holder of the consolidation Note. XXXX wrote : XXXX, XXXX, Thank you for contacting XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), an authorize agent for XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) federal student loans. XXXX has received your mail dated XXXX XXXX, stating you never consolidated a student loan and Navient provided you with a fraudulent contract so you are inquiring on how to dispute. XXXX is not the current holder of your account and therefore is unable to respond to your request. Please contact the current holder of your loan Navient Solutions LLC. The second letter stated : Thank you for contacting XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), an authorized agent of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has received your email dated XXXX XXXX, inquiring what year was your loans purchased and by whom. XXXX records indicate your Stafford loans were purchased by Navient Solutions , LLC ( fka : SallieMae ) on XXXX XXXX upon completion of the bankruptcy proceedings, additionally, records indicate after the loans were repurchased and placed with Navient Solutions LLC, the consolidation of the Stafford loans took place, therefore creating the consolidation loans. Please contact the current holder of you loans Navient Solutions LLC. XXXX is not the grantor of your FFELP Consolidation Loan nor did I sign my name nor did SallieMae sign their name. Navient in your last correspondence you wrote Navient turn my student loans into a personal loan FDIC insured. Navient you had no authority to consolidate my federal loans into your personal loans. You have denied me of all government benefits. You have used my ID wrongfully for your profit. Navient you borrowed {$22000.00} disbursed on XX/XX/XXXX and another loan disbursed on the same day XX/XX/XXXX for a total of {$49000.00} when my student loans only totaled around {$11000.00}. So you can not consolidate a loan for {$11000.00} and receive {$49000.00} loan. So were is the over {$38000.00} you received Navient you have refused to send me any billing statements when you borrowed the money so I would like tell me details of were the money went The NSLD federal aid state all my student loans were paid in full. So who do I owe XXXX state they were not apart of the consolidation loan as typed on look alike SallieMae letter head. Their is no signature of mine and no Bank officer signature. Navient you denied me of all government benefits including the Covid-19 Act automatic suspend payments no interest, student loan forgiveness and all other Acts of Congress and future Acts of Congress. Under the Fair Credit Debit Act a furnisher must report accurate information or the furnisher can be find. Navient you are reporting the student loan amount wrong for one they are not student loans. They are personal loans FDIC insured as written in your last correspondence : the student loans do not belong to the Department of Ed and they are not private so they are personal loans. There are two consolidation loans on my credit report with two interest rate also confirmed with the NSLD Federal Aid and there record is correct for the two loans interest to add up to over {$74000.00}. Tell me the breakdown of the {$22000.00} loan and the {$27000.00} loan in which you combined into {$49000.00} in XXXX. Remove Navient completely off my credit report and send me my money.

Consumer Complaint: Was previously with Navient during my enrollment at XXXX XXXX University from XXXX to XXXX. Was placed on forbearance due to difficulty making a XXXX a month payment. Tried multiple times to refinance or get a better payment plan and was refused. When XXXX took over my loan from Navient, not only are they offering better and affordable monthly payments but they were also very helpful in enrolling me in public service loan forgiveness for law enforcement which Navient advised me was not available with them despite my loan types. Prior to graduation from XXXX in late XXXX, my student loan debt total was about XXXX however after graduation, and after my forbearance my total owed sky rocketed to almost XXXX owed and the explanation given from Navient was that it included interest accrued while I was enrolled in school.
