Consumer Complaint: I was a victim of identity theft back in 2014 where my social security number was compromised and resulted in someone falsifying my tax reporting. I have been battling multiple accounts and items that I have had no knowledge of or relationship to speak to the debt accumulated. This is hurdling me in many areas of my life, and I have tried multiply times to dispute these claims, but no resolution has been made that will allow me to move forward with my life from this point forward.

Consumer Complaint: My student loans shouldve been discharged in bankruptcy through Navient years ago. I have been paying every since. I am still paying for a loan that was taken out in XXXX. A new court ruling has stated that anyone who had private Naveitn student loans and filed bankruptcy shouldve had their loans discharged but they illegal made us continue to pay and they should be discharged. I tried to obtain a lawyer and they refused to write them off. Now I am dealing with a debt solutions company because the payments were so high I couldnt afford to pay my other bills. I have two loans with Navient. At the begining of XX/XX/XXXX its stated that these loans will in the near future will be fully discharged.

Consumer Complaint: I have had an account with Sallie Mae/Navient for almost 18 years and tried my best to maintain the account through multiple forbearances that eventually increased the amount of my outstanding balances with forced forbearance. Sallie Mae/Navient was sued for predatory loans that were given to individuals like myself in Pennsylvania that reached settlement. Under the lawsuit I was one of the borrowers impacted by predatory lending and received payment from the settlement. Navient was supposed to remove loans under this lawsuit to borrowers who were in default prior to the settlement. Navient decided not to forgive my loan because my loan was technically up to date during the lawsuit. The only reason my loan was up to date during the lawsuit was because I was actively on a in-school deferment while I took up courses at a local XXXX college to make up for the fraudulent school and loans I signed up for 18 years ago - not because I was actually able to pay for the high interest loans. So Navient decided my good-standing, deferred loan account was good enough to keep in their system regardless of the lawsuit my account was under. My loan has never gone down in balance as a result from the interest raising forbearance practices they used on me years before. I cant seem to get anyone at Navient to assist with forgiveness on my account. And i am now seeking legal action utilizing the proof set by the Navient settlement that my account should have received consideration for forgiveness.

Consumer Complaint: I took at a private loan for XXXX XXXX University in XXXX. I have been making payments on weekly, bi-weekly and monthly intervals depending on pay scales. I have over paid my monthly payment in an effort to pay it off sooner. However, I feel like I'm in a never ending cycle. I downloaded my transaction history from the website, I also asked for a transaction history to be mailed to me. Once I received both, I compared everything line for line and even double checked the payment history that I have saved. When reviewing the information, ever line matches with the exception of one thing, the portion of my payment labeled ( interest ) doesn't appear to be applied any where. Below is the details of the very first payment I made : Date - XX/XX/XXXX Description - Payment Principal - ( {$6.00} ) Interest - ( {$51.00} ) Fees - {$0.00} Total - ( {$58.00} ) The transaction history shows that the Disbursement amount and fees totaled - {$8700.00}. On the following dates Capitalized Interested was added to my balance XX/XX/XXXX - {$1300.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$350.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$530.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$440.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$390.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$340.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$5.00} Bringing my balance due to {$12000.00}. Now it is my understanding that this amount includes the dispursed amount and capitalized interest. If that's the case, why after I made a payment of {$58.00}, did my balance only decrease by {$6.00}? If you remember the payment was divided into principal and interest. Where was the other {$51.00} applied? In every payment instance the amount labeled 'Interest ' isn't applied to anything. When I brought this to Navient 's attention, now I'm being told that I was given a complete transition history.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/2023, Navient received a copy of paperwork that showed everything from the previous complaints I've made. They continue to call me when I established a no-call contact with Will ( Employee ID XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to him about my file and the information I sent that was received on the XXXX. They have refused to look at my paperwork with everything that explains that I qualify for the XXXX settlement, yet refuses to talk about it and asks me in a message if I received paperwork for something I never asked for on the XXXX of XXXX. In the paperwork I established for them to look at was a letter, some credit reports, a screenshot of part of the XXXX settlement website, and my original promissory notes. I've also left some notes and highlights on certain pages to rectify certain things such as me never signing a loan for the amount given, exact words from the website about qualifying, and credit reports showing why I qualify. Attached is most of the evidence given to Navient.

Consumer Complaint: Around XX/XX/XXXX I contacted Navient to get my account taken care of and gave them my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In the meantime, I had an issue with XXXX and changed my direct deposit and finances over to XXXX XXXX. I contacted Navient spoke with a customer service rep and provided the account and routing number and asked that XXXX be the autopay account to draft on. I signed requisite forms etc. Then on XXXX, XX/XX/25 I received multiple phone calls from Navient accusing me of not making the payment and autopay had not been moved from XXXX to XXXX. I logged into the account and shared with customer service the details of my previous conversation with Navient. She responded asking me if I had the payment? I told her yes I did and it was a human error that the last rep did not follow through on XXXX being the autopay account. After she took my payment she shared that her " system '' could not process the autopay nor the deferment recently agreed upon. She promised she would call me back at XXXX XX/XX/25 to complete the autopay and deferment. No call back and my account is still outstanding and its harrowing to communicate with Navient. The reps talk over me, they don't llisten, nor do they honor their word.

Consumer Complaint: Credit reporting company has a negative credit item on my report that is causing me to be denied credit. I have had this item disputed for years but they refuse to address this dispute. The credit reporting companies are discriminatory and should not exist or be allowed to be used for this purpose. They have no accountability and only serve to harm consumers.

Consumer Complaint: I have private loans through Navient. They are non stop harassing me for payment. I have been struggling to make these payments for years. The loans were originally from a school that closed due to fraud and predatory loan servicing. I was misinformed/misled about loans while in school and was told only way to continue education was to get a private loan. This was mid semester within the first year of attending after I already applied for federal loans I had been approved for. I believe this was a discriminatory act from the school and took advantage of me because I was a first generation XXXX speaking student. This school had a class action suit against it from similar stories from other students in regards to loans needed to continue education. I would like help getting these loans canceled.

Consumer Complaint: I received private student loans originated by Sallie Mae between XXXX and XXXX and later transfer to Navient. From that point, my private student loan balance from {$20000.00} something to {$120000.00} over 19 years. Due to misallocated payments, my balance has been within the range from {$120000.00} to {$130000.00} over 5 years. It is no way of determined how the calculations are done because they only show the balance and no history of the variable interest rate from XXXX to XXXX with the original loans from Sallie Mae before being transfer to Navient. As of today, I requested documentation showing agreement for payment extended to XXXX. I have been paying on student private loans over 10 years and the balance has been the same. I am being charged interest daily, so I will never be able to pay down balance. In XX/XX/XXXX, I have documentation showing student private loans balance was {$26000.00} something XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, my balance is {$120000.00} something. With variable rates, this is the highest it has ever been ranging from XXXX XXXX percent. After requested documentation from Navient on the phone, the representative stated, I agreed to the extended payment plan to XXXX. I didn't agree to the extend payment plan to XXXX and I do not have any documentation agreeing to a extended payment plan. I am not on rate reduction plan. I am paying the amount based on the interest of loans. Recently, I paid extra on one of the loans and noticed the balance decreased and increased at the same time. I didn't signed a promissory note agreed to those terms and conditions of the loan. They have created their own terms and conditions. This is fraudulently and I need help with getting assistance with Navient cancelled these loans due to lack of no documentation. Currently, I am paying interest and principal of the loans and being charge interest daily for each loan. I am not in grace period, deferment, or forbearance.
