Consumer Complaint: I get regular emails from Navient about my student loan. I have no student loans. I am XXXX years old. I paid my student loans off about 40 years ago. Why are they hassling me? How many others are they hassling? I have not responded to the email because their website wants me to log in to contact them and I am concerned it could be a phishing attempt.

Consumer Complaint: The reported voluntary forbearances dates starting from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX are not accurate. I was in repayment under your hardship program during this reported timeframe. I don't understand how can my status be in a Voluntary forbearance while agreed payments were automatically debited from my account under your program. My account also received late fees and capitalization line items and I am requesting more details.. Dates in question are listed below. XX/XX/XXXX : {$1300.00} ( capitalization ) XX/XX/XXXX : {$20.00} ( Late fee ) XX/XX/XXXX : {$12.00} ( Late fee ) XX/XX/XXXX : {$7.00} ( Late fee ) XX/XX/XXXX : {$10.00} ( Late fee ) XXXX/XXXX/XXXX {$10.00} ( Late fee ) XX/XX/XXXX : {$32.00} ( Capitalization ) XX/XX/XXXX : {$25.00} ( Capitalization ) Please perform a cross reference with the Forbearance postponements and the payment history that was provided by Navient. I received late fees and capitalization interest while I was still making payments that were agreed upon under Navient 's hardship program. I do not trust the integrity of the data being provided since your dates reflect different as you have responded in the previous complaints. Please clarify why there is a discrepancy in your faulty database. This definitely creates doubt of Navient 's recordkeeping. Why wasn't this discrepancy identified earlier? In the companys response, Changes to our website may cause the Disbursement transaction to reflect an initial inaccurate balance. The discrepancy is caused by the Loan Sale Entry on XX/XX/XXXX, which shouldnt appear in your history. The amount of the Loan Sale Entry ( {$29000.00} ) plus your actual disbursement ( {$4000.00} ) is incorrectly reflected on the online account history as the disbursement balance. Please clarify if the loan sale entry of $ XXXX includes $ XXXX or is the additional $ XXXX. Consumer Complaint: NAVIENT Why bother claiming that you only provide the most accurate and verifiable information if you really dont? I requested proof of payment history. Where are they? You dont keep accurate records, do you? Let me tell you, according to the FCRA, you cant ignore a consumer 's request for an investigation ; you actually have to do it and send the results within 30 days. Your time is up and you didnt do your job. Take this off my file! NAVIENT - This account was showing an inaccurate payment history and payment status. A charge-off should show a XXXX balance. This inaccurate information continues to do harm to my credit. Please provide proof of the last payment. Otherwise, remove this from my file.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2018, I contacted Navient and submitted an application for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. I have been an XXXX for 20 years and have been paying on my student loans for 15 plus years. I inquired about student loan forgiveness and they told me that I was ineligible. I asked them if there is any way to become eligible and they vehemently replied, " No!. '' I recently graduated in XXXX with my XXXX and have been working with a different loan processing company for my current student loans. They told me that in XX/XX/XXXX, I could have easily consolidated my loans at Navient and then all payments would count towards loan forgiveness. Navient intentionally provided me with misinformation and it will cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I would like to file a formal complaint against them. I have documentation of emails for when I inquired about the student loan forgiveness.
