Consumer Complaint: I know have to full balances on my credit for the students loans being way higher than the original balance. I was skeptical about my account history with Navient because they show I never made a payment and they report my account all the way back to 2008 and have no records, insight, or supporting evidence to provide me. Ive had my taxes and paycheck garnished due to my student loans. I contacted the US department of Education for my information about my account history and they informed me that the document they have says my account is closed and paid for. No documents supporting Navient claim against me. They advised me to call the original collection agency XXXX for information, and was informed that my account was paid off for and they do not know why Navient is charging me. All 3 agencies have lil to no records of my account which is confusing to me because no one can provide exact information to me as if I never applied for a school loan. The us department of education sent me a document of all my payments and deductions show a XXXX balance. I plan to provide this document because it totals out the original loan balance.

Consumer Complaint: Good Afternoon, I need information on how to get my private loan expunged after attending XXXX XXXX in XXXX, AZ, from XXXX. This school did not explain the gravity of a private loan ; nor did it offer any assistance in job placement to graduates, as promised during orientation, in various brochures, and tv commercials. Ive been told time and time again I am unable to qualify for any form of tuition forgiveness because my loan is not federal. I have tried long enough to pay off this exorbitant loan offered by this fraudulent college. It has become extremely difficult to support my family with the high interest rate and monthly payment amount of this private loan. How lengthy or difficult the process will be is irrelevant to me- I just need some direction on how to be rid of this ever growing issue. I appreciate your time in reading this correspondence and any guidance you suggest. Best Regards, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Navient is the service provider for our consolidated student loans. We are XXXX and XXXX respectfully. I believe that we have been victimized by the practice of withholding relevant information that would have been in our best interest when struggling to repay our loans over the past 40 years, I found several lawsuits that describe our situations and some of them were won. 1. We were advised to use forebearances or deferments, rather than directed to IDR options. 2. We experienced a bankruptcy ( and nothing was discharged ) 3. We have been paying on this thing for decades and the orginal balance was only $ XXXX and now over $ XXXX with the principal pretty much the same and interest as much as the original loan. 4. We're not even sure how we ended up with our loans consolidated. Not sure how to resolve with Navient as they are being sued for these very practice3s.

Consumer Complaint: Source of dispute information : Navient Solutions , LLC Type of disputed information : Inquiry Dates associated with item being disputed : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX Explanation of item being disputed : This loan was issued under predatory pretenses. Navient Solutions lacked transparency about unfixed and variable interest rates. I was not given valid information about repayment options and was consistently given increased minimum payments despite reaching out to lenders as an attempt to keep the loan in good standing. The account with Navient Solutions monthly payments exceeded monthly gross income. I experienced financial hardship due to job loss and as well as the continued financial hardship due to the coronavirus pandemic. Reached out to the company about lowering payments so I can keep the loan in good standing but there was an issue with lowering monthly payments. I have even attempted to set up a payment delay with the lender but was unable to do so.

Consumer Complaint: My Student loans had been in forbearance during a gap ( XXXX ) period that I spent XXXX XXXX in XXXX. Ive since gone back to school. I called Navient, to explain my situation and get info on my payment options during this period. The navient rep suggested placing my loans in forbearance during the gap and that I just needed to make sure and reply to their emails when came time to renew my forbearance. In XX/XX/XXXX I realized I had a late payments for all Navient loans from XX/XX/XXXX on my credit report. I contacted them XX/XX/XXXX and was told that my forbearance renewal date fell a few days before their XX/XX/XXXX reporting date and that they did not receive my request until the first of XXXX, I explained, however, that I had received the renewal email XX/XX/XXXX ( was early morning the XXXX for me in XXXX ) and replied the same day XX/XX/XXXX. He said there must have been an error and started a dispute and asked me to provide him with the emails in order to get it sorted out. I provided both the email I received and my reply along with the original emails. He was very helpful but it took the department until XX/XX/XXXX to reply, after I had called many times and finally spoke to someone higher up. After speaking to them the decision was emailed to me and states they can not change the error bc their system shows XX/XX/XXXX and believe the documents I sent have the potential to be faked/edited. So I again reached out to the manager I last spoke to, again everyone I spoke to was very helpful and nice, but stated her hands were tied but allowed me to provide more evidence authenticating the email and when it was sent in case it would change the situation but couldnt guarantee anything. So Ive sent the header using XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, highlighted the IP/time stamps to both the received and sent email ( original ), the message ID, and emails web archive, but as stated I was told they likely wont change it.

Consumer Complaint: The loan is with Navient. On XX/XX/XXXX, we spoke with XXXX. She told us the loan balance was {$10000.00}, as of that date ( XX/XX/XXXX ). Our records show the balance is paid ( more than ), and we requested a full payment history, with all charges, and the original loan documents, with the Truth in Lending Statement. She said those documents would be sent, but in the meantime, she insisted we set up a payment plan. The documents were never sent, and now they are again pressing for collection. The first loan disbursement was in XXXX of XXXX, and the original principle was {$15000.00}. As of XX/XX/XXXX, all fees, including late charges, interest, and forbearance fees, total {$8800.00}. Loan Total = {$24000.00} Payments, beginning XX/XX/XXXX, through XX/XX/XXXX ( as shown in the account history on XXXX XXXX XXXX -- not our personal payment records, but Navient 's own payment records XXXX total = {$25000.00}. We've tried for years to get Navient to review the full payment history, but the representatives always state they can't see any payment history prior to XXXX, when they took over the loan. They refuse to do anything except demand payment.
