Consumer Complaint: There is no way that these companies investigated this student loan. The same information continues to report on my credit. I honestly don't believe I was late and I don't agree with the total balance that they are reporting on my credit. It continues to report several inaccuracies among the 3 credit reporting agencies from the last student loan company. How is that possible? For example, Each bureau reports that I was late on a different date Also, Hows it possible that youve reported me 90 days late with no late payments prior to that? Wasn't Navient sued by Cfpb before for not applying payments to consumers accounts correctly?

Consumer Complaint: I have been working as a social worker working in a public agency since XXXX. I have asked my loan servicer, Navient, several times over the years about enrolling in the Federal Public Student Loan Forgiveness program and each time was advised that I am not eligible because the amount of my loans is too low and would be paid off before the 10 years is up. I recently re-applied during the COVID-19 pandemic in XXXX of XXXX because my loan total has not decreased despite 9 years of consistent payment and it is no longer affordable for me and I was approved. Unfortunately, none of my previous payments were counted as eligible payments and my timeline for forgiveness started at XXXX months. Despite my ability to prove that I have been eligible and been working for the same agency for the past 6 years, I can not get any of my payments to count towards forgiveness despite the fact that I was intentionally mislead and enrolled in an income-based-repayment plan despite being eligible for a more forgiving plan. I would have had my loans paid off by now had I not been misdirected over several occasions by Navient over the years and believe that this is a form of fraud as many of other eligible graduates have similar stories.

Consumer Complaint: My wife received a letter in the mail from " pioneer credit recovery '' stating that she owed {$3000.00} to the department of defense. In the letter they stated that they were contracted by the US department of treasury, bureau of fiscal service to collect this debt. They threatened that not paying this debt would result in our delinquency being reported to the national credit bureaus, and that any future tax refunds could be garnished as a result. I tried calling the number provided XXXX, and was met with a series of robotic voice-mails stating that there was a " company-wide meeting '' and to leave a message. I left a message. Looked up the company on XXXX and called the phone number listed there : XXXX. Another automated message told me to enter the reference number on the document, then I was connected to a woman named " XXXX ''. She transferred me to another automated series of message that were identical to the first number, and I was prompted to leave another voice message. I tried calling the number again to talk to " XXXX '' and I got a message saying the number was disconnected. Bingo! Scam! I looked closer at the " bill '' and though it looks somewhat professional : lots of info, debtor numbers, reference numbers, an option to state your change in address, really small QR codes ( too small to use XXXX changes in text format, a mailing barcode that eerily looks like its a .jpg. etc., etc.. The envelope was hand mailed from XXXX : personally stamped, but the logo states this company is in XXXX NY, and the payment address is in XXXX XXXX MO. I'll hold onto the " bill '' for now in case you want to see it. I did some more searching, and there's also a page on XXXX regarding a law firm that you can reach out to SPECIFICALLY for this PCR company. Both websites fairly professional. And there's multiple pages that state that this company is indeed hired by the IRS for debt collections. This scam is multiple layers deep. If you need the envelope or " bill '' sent to you, or just pictures, I can do that. I personally know a few people who have fallen for these scams. Please find these individuals, or at least shut their websites down. Have XXXX flag them or something. These scammers are getting very elaborate, and somehow they're finding pertinent info on their potential victims. The reason why this was even slightly believable was because my wife 's ex husband was in the XXXX ; perhaps this was an unpaid doctor 's bill or something? I knew it was a scam, because we did a credit check last year when I tried getting her on my CC account, and we're aware of which items that went into collections, and actively fixed them. There's another scam they tried pulling on her last month regarding her cars warranty ; they tried the same with me. They know what cars we drive ; they're sending personalized warranty cards for your vehicle now that make it seem believable. Thank you for your efforts on this.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX did not address that when they took over the account from Navinet they added {$74000.00} to the amount Navinet had as last balance ( {$86000.00} + {$65000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX ) and they also did not address that they have charged interest on the subsidized loan. In fact its not clear if the consolidation ever kept the subsidized portion as subsidized in the first place. I was on XXXX and signed to have the loans consolidated and both these companies put massive amounts on top of my loan. At the time I was very ill and put on SSD ( XXXX from XXXX to XXXX ). I was given option to consolidate to give more time and didn't realize the amounts were so much more then I actually borrowed due to exurbanite fees put on by consolidation. The full transaction histories are included as attachments here. While I was on XXXX the only relief they offered was to give forbearance and deferments although I have learned that during the time I was XXXX I could have had these loans forgiven. Navinet also put {$26000.00} onto the total when they consolidated the disbursements which totaled {$120000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. Navinet is unresponsive as they no longer hold the loans and just send me the same information I already have from the federal student loan site. I still do not see how my totals legitimately increased by a fee of {$26000.00} when consolidating with Navinet from the {$120000.00} ( XX/XX/XXXX ) owed in individual loans and then again another {$74000.00} when consolidated from Navinet to XXXX from {$150000.00} ( {$86000.00} + {$65000.00} ) to {$220000.00} XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I have previous Navient Loans that are in the process of being dismissed due to me not having a Highschool diploma at the time of me getting my student loans ( Ability to Benefit ) I had 3 Sub & Unsub loans through SALLIE MAE which switched to Navient. Each Loan had 11 Late Payments which totaled 33 Late Payments across the board. I was informed to consolidate the loans since they were being investigated, I informed the bureaus that the loans where not reporting correctly and XXXX has deleted the closed out account while XXXX & XXXX has not followed suit. Since everything on my report should be reporting accurately how is it that a account can be deleted by one company and not another. I demand that XXXX AND XXXX FOLLOW SUIT AND DELETE ANY CLOSED NAVIENT ACCOUNT FROM MY CREDIT FILE

Consumer Complaint: ON XX/XX/2007 I SIGNED A STUDENT LOAN CONTRACT FOR MY DAUGHTER XXXX XXXX TO ATTEND COLLEGE. IT SPECIFICALLY STATES ON THE CONTRACT THAT ANY DISBURSEMENTS ARE TO BE SENT TO ME FOR MY SIGNATURE. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY DISBURSEMENTS TO APPROVE. I HAVE CONTINUALLY ASKED FOR THESE APPROVALS TO BE SENT TO ME. THEY WILL NOT SEND, BECAUSE THEY WERE FRAUDULENTY APPROVED BY THE DAUGHTER. ON MY CREDIT REPORT HER ADDRESS WAS LISTED AS I LIVED THERE AT HER HOUSE, WHICH I NEVER DID, AS I WAS RECEIVING MAIL THERE. THE APPROVALS WERE BEING SENT TO HER E-MAIL ACCOUNT, AND SHE WAS E-SIGNATUREING HIS NAME. ALL WE WANT IS COPIES WHERE THEY WERE APPROVED BY ME. THEY REFUSE TO DO THIS.
