Consumer Complaint: I have a mortgage that was transferred to Mr Cooper, formerly Nationstar. Since they took over the mortgage, they have failed to pay my insurance, causing a lapse in the coverage, despite repeated attempts on my part to get them to pay it. The insurance and taxes are paid from our impound accounts that they collect each month. On XXXX XXXX I called them because I received a notice from the county of XXXX XXXX tax collector stating that they had failed to pay a bill for unsecured property tax. I called the company and spoke to XXXX, and then his supervisor, XXXX XXXX. I asked them to pay the tax and refund me the penalties. The bill on that date was for {$130.00}. Taxes were XXXX, penalty XXXX, and collection cost of {$20.00}. XXXX told me she would contact the assessors office and resolve the matter. She told me it would take several weeks but that she would handle it. This week I received a notice of lien on my property for the same bill. The amount is now {$160.00}, taxes still {$100.00} and penalties of {$10.00}, {$1.00}, and {$49.00} of collection costs. I called the company 4 times yesterday, XXXX, and could n't get through. The first time I was instructed by the automated service to leave my number and expect a call back, and two hours later the automated service told me to call back later, they were too busy. I had perfect credit prior to this situation, I want Mr. Cooper to pay my taxes, refund me the penalties and make my credit right again. I ca n't get them on the phone to help me, and every time I speak to one of their representatives, they tell me they will fix the situation and do nothing. I would also like to move my mortgage to another lender. I have had this loan since XXXX and it has been transferred to 4 lenders now, they are by far the worst. What are my recourses here? I worked with Mr Cooper and they eventually did find the payment after I forwarded them proof. They assured me that there would be no negative impact to my credit as the error was not my fault and it was also during the RESPA period. This was a lie. They are reporting me with a 30 day mortgage late for a payment that was made to the previous services PRIOR TO the transfer.

Consumer Complaint: I went online to pay my mortgage but when I noticed that my payment increased by {$700.00} a month. I called NationStar to ask them what is going and they told me that my Escrow is short and I need to pay {$6200.00} to get back on track. I told them I do n't know what they are talking about because I have been paying the same amount since XXXX with no problems and now all of a sudden my Escrow is short that much, HOW. They said that they wrote me a surplus disbursement check for {$4200.00} last year and my Escrow has been in the negative since and now they want me to pay {$6200.00} back to them. This is not right. Mortgage companies should not be able to treat people like this. I need to speak with someone with mortgage knowledge to advice me what to do. NATIONSTAR/MR. COOPER is a XXXX company trying to take money from my families mouth because they screwed up I feel I should not have to pay for their mistake, since I called them multiple times about that check and the manager assured me that something like this would n't happen and demanded I cash the check.

I was very meticulous in getting and sharing any, and everything requested by Mr. Cooper and then later XXXX XXXX requested documents all while allowing me to : Open Probate XX/XX/XXXX Restart My XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Qualify Financially ( provided 6 months bank and P & L statements From XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX ) Renovate/ remodel our home From XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX I was really wandering why it was taking so long for an approval I was aware that some sort of comradery and teamwork was going on so I did n't think for a moment that Mr. Cooper would inadvertently sell without giving me an opportunity to provide more document ( s ) from the court ; especially since I 've been in compliance since the sale dates first started being postponed. Consumer Complaint: I received a mortgage loan modification in 2012 and I believe I was deceived into signing papers to save my home. I was told numerous times over the phone by Nationstar Mortgage that I qualified for a loan modification because I had successfully made all my mortgage payments. Yes, I made all my mortgage payments, so why did they ( Nationstar Mortgage XXXX add an additional {$260000.00} on top of my original mortgage loan with the modification??? I was deceived and lied to and this is a SCAM by Nationstar Mortgage. I made all my mortgage payments and paid all late payments. Then I made additional trial modification payments and I was told on the phone I would not get any additional fees because I made all my payments to qualify for the loan modification. Did Nationstar Mortgage pocket and dissapear all my mortgage payments I made prior to the loan modification??? I just now realized that they ( Nationstar Mortgage ) committed FRAUD with me because they added additional fees to my mortgage loan that I never had before. Please help me to remove the amount of {$260000.00} that Nationstar Mortgage added to my mortgage loan by FRAUD. Nationstar Mortgage lied to me and deceived me into signing papers to do a mortgage loan modification with the Nationstar Mortgage, which now changed it 's name to Mr. Cooper Mortgage.

Consumer Complaint: We were paying approximately {$4000.00} per month on our first loan modification for 2 years. When this ended our mortgage went up to {$8500.00}, we called Mr. Copper and they advised us that we are eligible for a 2nd loan modification. They asked me for lots of documents which i was submitted to them in a timely matter. I was then informed via mail that they were putting me on a Trial/Workout payment plan and had to make 3 payments of {$7300.00} By XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX. And after they would qualify me for a permanent loan modification. I called a few times trying to get a explanation to what these payments are for but no one at Mr. Copper was able to give me an valid explanation. They all informed me that these were test payments to see if were able to make the payments on time. I do n't even understand the language/vocabulary of the documents that they sent me. I already sent in the first payment but i 'm having my doubts. I got another notice in the mail from Mr. Copper stating that my monthly mortgage will go up to {$9100.00} as of XXXX XXXX. So as of now i do not understand what is going on with my loan modification. I get new mail every week with new information and just want a solution.
