Consumer Complaint: Nation Star Mortgage bought my mortgage from XXXX XXXX XXXX several years ago. I have n't lived there for over XXXX years and it has been in various stages of the foreclosure process for years. Nation Star changed the locks on the doors, so I ca n't get in. On XXXX occasions last week, someone has left a hand written envelop with information from Nation Star on the front porch of my current house. They have hand written " Personal and Confidential '' and my name on the envelope, but there is no identifying information of who left it or how we can contact them. They are trespassing on private property to leave these envelopes. When we contacted Nation Star to find out about this practice, they refused to answer any questions or let us talk to a supervisor. My husband, who owns the property they are trespassing on, does not have an account with them, but they would not acknowledge having someone deliver these documents to his house. This is unprofessional and seems predatory to have hand delivered items left on a door step with no identifying information. That the company refuses to answer questions about their practices is also troubling. If they are authorizing this type of behavior, they should be able to acknowledge this is their practice to anyone who asks - especially someone who has had it happen to them. Also, to not allow us to speak to a supervisor, or someone other than the phone rep who has no authority, is horrible and leaves people feeling helpless. We will call the police and report the trespasser if they do it again, but they should not be treating people like this.

Consumer Complaint: We signed a Home Affordable Modification Agreement with XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The agreement included {$130000.00} in deferred principal, to be forgiven in XXXX installments - specifically on XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ( anniversary dates ). Each installment should have been for XXXX of the total, and we should have received a XXXX in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX for the corresponding amounts. The loan was subsequently transferred to Nationstar Mortgage on or about XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Nationstar failed to provide a XXXX for XXXX, and XXXX the amount of the deferred principal on the XXXX provided for tax year XXXX. This constitutes a breach of the agreement XXXX XXXX XXXX, page XXXX ). I have contacted Nationstar MULTIPLE times and their answer is that the XXXX XXXX reflects XXXX of the deferred principal balance. Whilst the figure is XXXX of the total - it was to be forgiven in XXXX portions in year XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. In XXXX, I am subject to taxes on principal reduction in the state of California, whereas I am not subject to taxes on that amount for XXXX. By providing ONLY the XXXX XXXX for XXXX the actual amount of principal reduction, I will be required to pay taxes on XXXX the agreed upon amount from the HAMP document. By lumping together the 2 years forgiveness in violation of the agreement, Nationstar has exposed me to additional tax liability in the state of California. I need either a corrected XXXX that ONLY reflects the XXXX forgiveness portion AS AGREED in the documentation or compensation for the additional California State Taxes I will be subjected to because of the breach of the HAMP agreement by Nationstar.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX our mortgage was sold by XXXX to Nationstar Mortgage. There was no notification that this was taking place, so payments were made to XXXX until we recieved a notice from Nationstar dated XXXX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX and that notice stated that the amount due {$2000.00} and that amount was due XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. That amount consisted of XXXX payments of {$1000.00} and a late fee. These payments were made to XXXX on a timely manner but were not transferred timely. We also applied for a loan modification through Nationstar during XX/XX/XXXX which was eventually denied. In XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX they paid our property taxes, without our knowledge or consent, which we had also paid, resulting in a duplicate payment that we were notified about. Then the calls started to Nationstar to fix the Escrow account they opened to recoup the taxes they had paid in error. They would take the monthly payment, which was received on time, and would put that into a suspense account. When there was enough money left in that account after some of it going towards the taxes, they would make a payment for the mortgage. This would always result in our mortgage payment being late, they eventually had our account with a pastdue amount of 3 months.. They finally admitted that the escrow account had been opened in error. And they were to correct the error on our account to make it current and correct on our credit rating. They are currently showing late payments from XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX Part of this is the payments made to XXXX but not transferred to Nationstar and part of it because of the escrow account they opened in error. In summary, we have attempted to get Nationstar to repair our credit report, to be able to go and obtain a new mortgage at a lower interest rate.

Consumer Complaint: Our loan was sold to Nationstar, they XXXX the mortgage, we filled out paperwork XXXX times for the HAMP, modification, all XXXX times they lost the paperwork, never returned calls, gave us the run around. We sent them payments, they sent them back, keeping the late fee, then later returning that as well. This all started XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, we now have a lawyer, and are being foreclosed upon XXXX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX. We tried to send them {$7000.00} in XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX, they said do n't bother. Currently our house is for sale, just went into a sale. Our credit is ruined and we are losing our home of XXXX years. Our credit was stellar and we had never missed a payment. We did pay late XXXX or XXXX but only a XXXX times. My husband and I both work 7 days a week, and pay all of our bills. We have never been through something like this, so stressful and so awful. We are leaving our home soon, and moving on. Nationstar has treated us like trash, never calling us back to try to resolve things. Losing all of our paperwork, returning our payments, and now foreclosing on our home. How can they get away with this? We never had a problem with our loan prior to them getting it. I read to the other stories from other people and it is the most terrible company to exist. Please stop them from taking people 's homes away, no one deserves to be treated like this. I have my child and my pets to care for and I have to move them as well, and it has been daunting. I have owned a home since I was in my XXXX 's, now in my XXXX 's, I will be starting over, thanks to Nationstar. Please, please, please help the people put a stop to this company and their heinous business tactics. I am in tears as I write this because I do n't know what I will do. We have had to had to hire an attorney to help us, and he has had several clients with the same problem/same company.

I did not dispute the outcome because Nationstar said they would move forward with the foreclosure on my house at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NJ. They said they would do this in a letter addressed to my attorney ( they never did send the letter to him ). I forwarded the letter on to my attorney. I have not heard from them once since XXXX, nor has my attorney. Can you please help me with this? This has been going on since XXXX of 2009. The house was destroyed in XXXX XXXX, Thank You, XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I had a 5 year loan modification with XXXX XXXX, who then sold it to XXXX XXXX XXXX and then XXXX sold it to Nationstar Mortgage. In XXXX of 2014, the original 5 year modification ended and Nationstar sent me a letter stating my mortgage payment went from {$1200.00} / Month to {$2200.00} / Month, which there was no way I could afford. I tried to do a loan modification with Nationstar, and after a few months they came back to me and said " Congratulations, you 've been approved ''. My new monthly payment would now be {$2100.00} / months. Wow! They took off a whole {$14.00} per month. I have been trying to work with my Loan Modification specialist to work something out but they are very unresponsive and will not get back to me for weeks, in some instances. Now, it appears they will either send me a default notice or possibly have me do a short sale or cash for keys, and be out of my home of 14 years in 60 days.

Consumer Complaint: I first started with country wide and was in the negative arm loan. Then was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX and i fell behind in payments. In XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had to offer me loan modification due to the mortgage debt settlement. They offerred me a trial modification then after i sent first payment they sold my loan to nationstar in attempt to wipe their hands clean and not have to comply with the settlement. My XXXX XXXX XXXX loan was transferred to Nationstar on XXXX XXXX after I agreed to a modification. I tried to send a payment to nationstar but my it wasnt accepted and in fact the payment I sent XXXX XXXX XXXX was returned. I called several months asking when can i make a payment and was told to wait until they receive documents from XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XXXX and XXXX XXXX, i received loan documents from nationstar that had a XXXX payment balloon of over XXXX. I told them this not same loan as XXXX XXXX XXXX, please let me know why theres a balloon payment before I sign this modification. Till this day, I have n't gotten an answer. I have contacted Nation star every single month. Then I get a notice of default so I gave in and they sent modification documentation. I agreed and they open a case for mod in XXXX XXXX. I 've been trying to send over modification documents to nation stars and now they are saying that the investor will not allow me to modify. In addition, they gave me a number for point of contact, XXXX XXXX who never calls me back or work on my case. All I want is fair treatment and for them to honor the XXXX XXXX XXXX loan documentation without balloon payment. If not, then at least give me opportunity to apply for XXXX program since they offered it to me. I also sent over my XXXX XXXX discharge papers from XXXX and asking to see if I was qualified for SCRA benefits and I never got response.

Consumer Complaint: What has not happened. I mail payments and they post weeks later. I get statements that say a balance due of XXXX amount and then customer service tells me another amount. They cant explain why. Today I get on the phone to ask a question about my escrow analysis that was done XXXX/XXXX/XX/XX/2015 which decreased and I have been on hold so far XXXX hr and XXXX minutes, transferred XXXX times, verfied my account all XXXX times and STILL waiting on help. Nationstar purchased my account and ever since they have had it, it has been a nightmare. I get charged {$63.00} for a PMI " insurance '' that I have requested to drop and no one can assist me on this. Why in the world do I make monthly payments to this company and can not get helped ever. Just FYI I am still on hold and it has now been XXXX hr and XXXX mins. Still on the phone XXXX hr XXXX minutes and no solution. Please help what can someone do who never choose this company to be their mortgage holder in the XXXX place ...
