Consumer Complaint: my loan had been resently sold to nation star mortage, my previously lender was freedom mortage. the loan was sent to nation star XX/XX/XXXX.Ever since then my ecrow has been short, they are staying that my escrow account is now short XXXX and they keep giving me the run around to way my account is short. It went from being short because of school taxes, to our XX/XX/XXXX real states being deliquent etc. Everytime my wife calls they keep giving her the run around to why it is short, My wife recently went to our school district and our brough to get copies of the checks and everything that was paid up and it is still not adding up. most importantly i am escrowed. then i recently tried to submitt my mortage payment and i was able to submit is but they put it in a suspended account claiming it wasnot enough to cover the mortage which it was it was my normal payment of XXXX, they claim i have to pay XXXX not the XXXX because i have to cover the shorteage in the escrow account. they never not once sent any documentation explaining abour the escrow being short and nothing explaing that now we will have to pay the XXXX for the next XXXX months.

Consumer Complaint: Tried to get loan modification ..Nationstar mortgage kept losing my faxed documents.2 and a have years later, they send me paperwork.My new payment amount {$290.00} and change. then a letter with different amount. I also signed up for auto withdraw.I told them no withgraw on XX/XX/XXXX as per agreement. They sent letter to remind me I now had to send {$370.00} in check by XX/XX/XXXX. I waited till XX/XX/XXXX to make sure no autowithdraw. there was none I sent check, two days later they withdrew money. I had to cancell check. {$30.00}. In short every thing they have told me about has been a lie.I did sign the loan w/this company anyway, they ( bought ) my loan. please help..

Consumer Complaint: I am a XXXX working on the client 's behalf. My client was facing foreclosure. On XXXX/XXXX/15 the client submitted his first payment in participation of the 90 day deferment opportunity offered by Colorado Statute. All deadlines were met and the payment was sent according to the attorney 's instructions. On XXXX the payment was rejected by the loan servicer, Nationstar. My client called Nationstar and he was told by a representative that they do not " participate '' in the 90 day deferment. I contacted the attorney, XXXX and was told it would be taken care of, and that Nationstar did not have an option to " not participate '' per Colorado statute. I instructed the client to resubmit the payment. The second payment for the second month of the deferment was sent at this time as well. On XXXX/XXXX/15, both payments were sent back to my client. I contacted the attorney again, and was told they 'd be setting up a conference call with Nationstar to get it straightened out, and to resubmit the payments. I instructed my client to do so. On XXXX/XXXX/15, we filed an intent to cure, because my client had the funds to cure the mortgage delinquency. The attorney did not respond with figures until XXXX, after a second request for the figures had been sent. My client took the payment for curing the delinquency, in person, to the public trustee 's office and cured his delinquency. On XXXX/XXXX/15, my client received both of his deferment payments back again and a letter from Nationstar saying he now owed approximately {$2000.00} more than what the cure figures stated. I have attempted to contact the attorney and have not heard back. The public trustee of XXXX County had honored the deferment, and has withdrawn the foreclosure due to the payment to cure the delinquency. But Nationstar still has my client 's mortgage in an active foreclosure, and my client is not sure what to do next OR what to do with his XXXX money orders for the 90 day deferment. XXXX of the money orders is set to expire XXXX XXXX, so he will be depositing the money back into his account. If the deferment payments would have been accepted, as they should have been, his cure figures would have been different than the amount he paid. Additionally, he will be owed back some of the fees paid in the cure payment that had not yet actually accrued.

Also, I 've called customer service several times asking for the original stock certificate and proprietary lease. They do n't seem to understand that I need the documents and a rep present at the closing ; otherwise I ca n't finalize the transaction. Please assist. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: i am not delinquent on anything at nationstar. nationstar added this document to my account and it feels like they are XXXX with me again now in a different fashion. i do n't know what to make of this document. i pay my full mortgage payment each month and i have no clue how i can be delinquent on anything in my account from nationstar. it seems like every time i think my account is settled and going good nationstar gets sneaky and extorts more and more money out of me. nationstar is full of scammers! what does this document mean????

Consumer Complaint: Modification that has gone XXXX for over XXXX months. Several conference calls with the XXXX ( VP ) ph XXXX : XXXXXXXXXXXX incorrect. Per conference calls with borrower and VP, he would insure the escrow was calulated correctly ( admitting fault ) and Perm Mod ( documents just received today by borrower ) for her signature is MORE than the amount discussed. The issue primarily with all modifications is the lender is hold the money in a que, charging a fee to call in to make payment ( can not make payments online during a modification ). The statements the borrowers receive shows no payments - foreclosure department is not notified or " In sync '' and many people I know were foreclosed in the middle of making ONTIME mod payments. This needs to be escalated because the borrower was promised the re-calulation by the VP and still wrong. Now the borrower does not know what to do.. she could not afford the payment to begin with and that is why she applied for a modification - but if escrow ( insurance THE LENDER CHOSES ) is high and the borrower finds another policy that is less expensive, why should the borrower be penalized? The perm mod documents are near the same as her ORGINAL mortgage payment. Makes NO SENSE. Needs investigated please.

Consumer Complaint: I would like to file a complaint. I have received several letters via Certified Mail from NationStar Mortgage stating that I could opt to have a face to face meeting with a representative to discuss options concerning my loan. I have made more than several attempts to set up this face to face meeting for the last month and a half at least. I have received nothing but the run around from each person that I talk to. Someone was supposed to email me, and then someone was going to call me, but I have yet to hear back from anyone regarding my calls to set up the meeting. I get different responses from your Representatives from, " We do n't do that '', to " I have never heard of it. '' I read them the letter that I received and had to sign from coming out of the Texas office. The representatives all need to be on the same page. Does n't look good for the business when the information being given does not match going from person to person in the office. If no one is going to actually set up the face to face meeting and it is not an option, STOP SENDING ME CERTIFIED MAIL TELLING ME TO CALL TO SET ONE UP!

Consumer Complaint: We tried for years since XX/XX/XXXX to get a modification after my husband got sick and was not able to work driving long distance trucks any longer. We started with XXXX XXXX Mortgage but they sold our loan as soon as I made the request for a modification. We were sold to Nationstar Mortgage. It took over a year to get everything done with them. The modification went through on XX/XX/XXXX. Our mortgage was lowered from {$1400.00} to {$1100.00} with fees of {$15000.00} and 10 years added to our mortgage. Around XXXX we received notice that our land/house taxes with the county was not paid. I called Nationstar and they realized when they did the modification they left off the taxes from the escrow. They paid the taxes BUT when they reassessed XX/XX/XXXX, they notified us that the payment would go up due to the reassessment to the {$1400.00} which was the same payment it was before the modification. Therefore we paid {$15000.00} and got 10 years added to our loan to get a modification and lower our house note only to once again see the payment go back to the original payment because they made a mistake in the initial paperwork. This does not seem ethical or fair to a consumer already in trouble with making the payments. Please help us with this.
