Consumer Complaint: Nationstar continues to deny my loan mod. For 28 months our firm has tried to modify XXXX XXXX XXXX 's Loan. They refuse to supply the negative NPV form which is the reason for the most recent denial. They have also listed his primary residence as a rental which is the cause of the is last denial as the unpaid principle balance is {$1000000.00}. This balance also prevents XXXX XXXX from obtaining a HAMP/Tier XXXX loan mod. The denial letter states his income at {$640.00} less that what was provided in documentation.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar has been improperly reviewing our client for their modification and has still not conducted a proper review for a modification. Additionally, even though Nationstar is in complete of a complete package pursuant to XXXX CFR XXXX and have not sent a letter to our client that they are not eligible for review, they affirmatively filed a motion with the court to seek a sale and were successful in obtaining a sale date in clear violation of the guidelines. Regarding the improper review for modification, they have wrongly denied the file a few times based on completely inaccurate income information without any explanation as to how they obtained the income amounts. During the reviews we have been given conflicting information as well including that the file was in review and the next date hearing from someone else the file is denied and then we were told the day after that the file is in review.

Consumer Complaint: I have attempted numerous times to get straight answers from Nationstar and the lawyer they hired to foreclose on me in WI. After a lot of research and after finally getting documents from Nationstar I was able to prove that it was Nationstar that filed a fraudulent assignment with the Register of Deeds and with the Court. Nationstar likes to say they just get their documents from the MERC system, but if you look at the proof I am providing you will see it was a Nationstar notary who signed the assignment and the assignment took place in XX/XX/XXXX when they were servicing the loan. An assignment to XXXX Bank as trustee could not have occurred in XX/XX/XXXX because this particular trust closed in XX/XX/XXXX. Also Nationstar owns agencies that have been sendng representatives to my home to " break-in '' even when they do not have any legal right to be on my property. They claim that they determined my property was abandoned based on fraudulent information. Nationstar said they were taking my complaint seriously, but they never followed up and recently sent yet another person to my home, who came to my home at XXXX and he attempted to break-in until my dogs started barking. I am attaching all of my proof and I am contemplating filing a federal lawsuit against them. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated. Please see attachments for further explanation.

Issue: Loan servicing, payments, escrow account

Consumer Complaint: I have a Nationstar Mortgage after my loan was sold to them. It was with XXXX, who sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX. They sold my loan to Nationstar Mortgage. It has been a rollercoaster since Nationstar took over my loan. After being denied the affordable home loan application b/c I no longer live in my house. I continued to make my payments at 5.75 % on XXXX loan. Recently there was a XXXX in the house so I had to setup a payment plan to fix the problems with the house. Long story short. They have been sending my payment back. I call and when I finally get a person on the phone, they note my account about my payment being sent in and satisfied with my payment and the process I am paying. I can not use their online service b/c when setting up a new bank account my payment was rejected. So due to that happening XXXX I can not make online payments anymore b/c they wo n't allow me too. This month my payment plan payment of {$2500.00} was return to me after funds came out of my account and went to them. THey rejected the funds and sent them back to me. I called and they stated they did not know why. I then stated I would pay the account to bring it current since it was the last payment in my plan and paid fees for that last payment. I sent {$2800.00}. They again rejected my payment and sent it back. Each time fees have been charged to my account. I continue to give them my money b/c it is my debt and my obligation and the right thing. Yet they make it difficult to pay and then continue fee me? Where do I go from here?

Consumer Complaint: Our mortgage company, Nationstar, is claiming we missed a payment and is sending us email messages and leaving voice mail messages warning us of a possible foreclosure. Our mortgage payment is automatically transferred from our bank account to Nationstar each month, so we know we have n't missed a payment. We have called XXXX different times trying to clear up this issue. The first call we talked to XXXX and she said she would look into it. Two days later on the XXXX call XXXX suggested we FAX them our bank statements to verify the payment was made. We FAXED them that day. On the third call XXXX told us they did n't have a record of us ever calling them, but she would create XXXX. On the fourth call they told us they it would take a few days to review the FAX. On the XX/XX/XXXX call XXXX told us they never received the FAX. On the XX/XX/XXXX call to their call center XXXX was n't sure what the problem was and offered no solutions. Meanwhile we are still receiving email and voicemail messages telling us our mortgage is past due.

Consumer Complaint: For more than 6 months, I have been attempting to obtain information from the mortgage servicer, Nationstar, to confirm whether all charges to the account are justified. I have received the same responses, over and over, without anyone ever actually taking the time to answer my very specific questions. I am attaching just their last letter to me, and my most current response. I have correspondence going back to XXXX of 2014, but the most recent letters will give you a flavor of what is happening. They refuse to justify legal expenses, inspections ( some of which are on the same day or just days apart ), alleged repairs to my property, and other items. They say that the information requested " does not pertain directly to servicing of the loan, does not identify any specific servicing errors, and/or is considered proprietary and confidential. '' The entire process is intended to ascertain the actual amount due and the actual owner and holder of the note and mortgage so that I may initiate a short-sale. I will not initiate a short-sale until I know the amounts which will be demanded.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage servicer ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) sold servicing rights to Nationstar starting XXXX XXXX 2015. I contacted XXXX and was told that I had no say in the matter, but the only change I would see is the account # and address I send payments to. I called Nationstar on XXXX XXXX to set up my auto bill pay, but was told they did n't have my account info yet and they would be sending me a welcome packet with all the info I would need. I did n't receive this packet until XXXX XXXX. I called Nationstar customer service ( poor description of what they do ) and was basically told there was no way to set up the payment option I need ( the same plan I had with XXXX and my previous servicer ). I am in the military, so I get half of my pay on the XXXX and the rest on the XXXX of every month, so I need half of my mortgage payment to auto draft on the XXXX and the XXXX. Sounds simple ... apparently it 's impossible with Nationstar. I have spent hours on hold and have to explain my situation every time I get transferred to a new person. On XXXX XXXX I received a notice that " your loan is due for XXXX XXXX, 2015 and is in default '' and " unless this delinquency is paid by XXXX XXXX, 2015 we will accelerate/demand your loan and begin the foreclosure process '' pretty sure federal law REQUIRES a 60 day grace period beginning the effective date of servicing transfer. This whole experience has made me extremely uneasy, as I previously stated, I am in the military and XXXX at a time. I received notice of the servicing transfer just after returning from XXXX of these XXXX, what would have happened if it had come just after I XXXX? I would have come back to a house in foreclosure because of an unethical practice of transferring servicers without my consent! Is there seriously no protection for XXXX service members from this? Also, PLEASE read XXXX and other reviews of Nationstar Mortgages and ask yourself how they are allowed to continue preying on people just trying to do the right thing. I would do ANYTHING to distance myself from this terrible company!

Consumer Complaint: I bought a house with FHA Loan through Nationstar after President Obama lowered the Mortgage Insurance Premium as of XXXX XXXX. I have made a couple payments at {$1800.00} with the MI of {$170.00} & taxes/insurance included because its mandatory to have an escrow account with a FHA Loan. Nationstar just raised my payment to {$2000.00} and they are stating there system shows mortgage insurance is supposed to be around {$290.00} a month, and the escrow accounts short. I have several calls into them and they are saying oh well the next analysis is n't for another year. I 'm being over charged now for mortgage insurance at which I signed HUD/FHA of MI payments at {$170.00} and paid {$4700.00} up front and not {$290.00}. Why are they still stuck on the MI rate when it was lowered by the US President XXXX months ago.
