Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2015 I received a notice from my mortgage company, notifying me that my mortgage loan would be transferred to Nationstar Mortgage LLC effective XXXX XXXX, 2015. I called my home owners insurance right away to ensure they were aware of this transfer and I provided all the complete contact information, I was told they were already aware and had all the contact information. Nationstar failed to timely submit my insurance payment which caused my policy to be cancelled. ( the payment was due XXXX XXXX, 2015 ) I 've been without insurance coverage for over three months now and Nationstar refuses to take responsibility and resolve the issue. Nationstar is now threathning to purchase a more expensive insurance policy and claims that I should be responsible for the new fees including a new deposit and other penalties for having a lapse of coverage which was to no fault of my own. I have never paid late. I have placed several phone calls and left countless messages for Nationstar asking to speak with someone from their management team but they never return my calls and have been avoiding me. Nationstar recently sent me a letter stating that the prior loan administrator should have paid the policy. XXXX XXXX XXXX which is the previous loan administrator sent a complete list of every disbursement to Nationstar prior to the transfer of the loan and therefore Nationstar was aware that an insurance premium was not disbursed this year by the previous loan administrator which is the excuse that they are using. I am a single parent and can not afford to pay a new deposit on a new policy and most definetely can not afford the penalties imposed due to the lapse in coverage. Please help me. I never had any problems with my insurance payments or any issue until Nationstar came in the picture. They have absolutly no interest in assisting me or any customer. I 've found countless reports of these complaints on line for the very same thing with Nationstar. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 I received an urgent e-mail from my insurance agent advising me that due to some type of system glitch within Nationstar ( my lender servicing co. ), my insurance payment was never disbursed. I 've also since received notice from my agent that Nationstar failed to submit payment even after three notices were sent directly to Nationstar. According to my insurance agent, my policy has been cancelled due to non-payment from Nationstar and a new policy would need to be purchased. The purchase of a new policy would include additional fees and penalties. On XXXX XXXX, 2015 I responded to my insurance agent 's notice by engaging both my insurance agent and my loan servicing company Nationstar in a conference call. Nationstar acknowledged that indeed payment for my homeowner 's insurance was never disbursed. As a consumer, I am extremely dissatisfied with Nationstar 's service and feel betrayed and shortchanged. Currently, I have no insurance coverage on my property and I am at a loss for what I should do next. I need your assistance please

Consumer Complaint: I have been attempting to assume a mortgage loan from Nationstar Mortgage since XXXX 2015. During the process there were various documents that I needed to supply to the loan assumption department of Nationstar Mortgage. Documents included Loan Application, Rental History, Bank Statements, Tax Info and Title info. Please note that Nationstar did not or has not provided a telephone number that leads directly to the Loan Assumptions Department. Nationstar only provides a mailing address and fax number. Starting in XXXX of 2015, I sent the initial completed loan application to Nationstar via certified mail. After about a month I received a mail notification from Nationstar stating that pages were missing from the application packet. I resent the missing pages via certified mail again. Month after month I receive mailings from Nationstar stating that they have not received several documents. I resend information over and over again via certified mail, email and and/or fax. Time after time I receive mailings stating that I am missing documents. Today I received a mailing from Nationstar stating that they have not received XXXX last document and if they do not receive it in the next two business days, they will close the case. This is extremely frustrating because Nationstar does not provide any way to confirm receipt of documents and there is no one to speak to for any feedback whatsoever. It is now XXXX XXXX 2015. The process began in early XXXX 2015. There is no one to call. Email messages are not replied to and fax gets no replies. I have sent documents via certified mail, email attachments and fax. I do not know what to do next. Nationstar Loan Assumptions will close the case in two business days and there is no one to assist me and no way to confirm that Nationstar has received any documentation. I have no clue of what can do to move forward.

Consumer Complaint: Last year I started a modification with my mortgage company. In the approval my mortgage was brought by NationStar brought my mortgage. I my modification process I was told my payment would be about {$730.00} a month. Now it is up to {$1000.00} and changing monthly. My prinicipal amount, escrow ( they say is negative ) and other fees keep going up and I 'm no where close to the amount that I agreed to pay. I have called, complained and tried to get answers to no avail. They are saying they are paying for insurance when I pay my own insurance policy. And have submitted papers to them in the past to show this. When I call them they play the transfer to multiple line issue and soon they just disconnect you.

Consumer Complaint: We received a loan modification agreement from Nationstar mortgage. We made the monthly payments according what we perceived the payments to be ( the mortgage company never sent any information to us after repeated attempts from customer service ). We received notification from Nationstar that we were behind, because we were only paying the principle and interest, and not the taxes and insurance. We requested information in writing regarding this and have made several attempts with the mortgage company to pay the past-due amount to cure our mortgage. We have received nothing but inflated amounts that is always higher than when we contacted them in XXXX 2015, but nothing in writing. Nationstar has sent nothing that would be a positive step in correcting the error and bringing our mortgage current. We are at the belief that this company has predatory lending practices, and is intentionally trying to foreclose our property.

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage servicing was recently transferred XXXX to Nationstar. I received a letter from Nationstar telling me that " recent changes in Flood Maps '' now required that I obtain flood insurance. It says the property is in an A flood zone. From what I can determine it is in an X zone. I assume this was done due to recertification though a vendor at transfer. The letter is dated XXXX but not received until XXXX giving me 30 days to place coverage thus giving me 3 weeks to act. They are threatening to force place coverage and increase my payment. ( I have 40+ years dealing with mortgage servicing, lending and risk and taught classes on the subject ) I assumed that this was an error and would be quickly resolved but information on the internet regarding Nationstars complaints and class action suits give me a sense of urgency and aggressiveness to resolve this.

Consumer Complaint: I have a low income condo in XXXX, Massachusetts. My mortgage loan has been sold XXXX times and is now with a disgraceful company called Nationstar. I sent in my monthly payment in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX, thinking my mortgage was fine. In XXXX they sent me back all XXXX payments, which had not been cashed telling me my mortgage was in foreclosure because I missed a payment in XX/XX/XXXX. Then a few days later I got a very poorly written letter from a lawyer in XXXX telling me I was in foreclosure. I do not understand how Nationstar is allowed to be un-regulated by the State. There are XXXX of people beingforeclosed on an the Atttorney General office of Massachusetts told me there 's nothing they can do. If you go to the website called consumers affairs and put Nationstar into the search bar you will read XXXX of reviews by consumers about being illegally foreclosed upon with no aid from any state or federal agency. I guess this is what banks being un-regulated has created. Nationstar says it is a Mortgage company, it is not it is a debt collector, they just collect monthly payments, the Attorney General 's office told me, " oh, we know all about Nationstar, they do n't want monthly payments they want the loan paid off, because when the loan is paid off is when Nationstar gets paid in full. " So I am bewildered why our Attorney General is allowing this to occur to Massachusetts residents. There are several class action lawsuits taking place across the country suing Nationstar, XXXX of which in XXXX, Washington that I am a class representative for. A couple in Michigan sued NS and won a XXXX XXXX dollar settlement with NS for fraudently forclosing on them. If anyone can offer me any assistance it would be greatly appreciated,
