Consumer Complaint: I was approved for a modification in XX/XX/XXXX and have made all my payments on time. I got married after I got the mortgage so the name on the modification forms were incorrect and the notary the mortgage company would not notarize them. I had sent in all the documents to have them change my name on the loan, several times. As time passed I called several times asking for the corrected documents but never received them. Now the mortgage company is saying my modification was not approved and put my home back into foreclosure with a sale date of XX/XX/XXXX. The mortgage company told me last week to have a friend to notarize the documents with my maiden name and send them in and they will TRY to process them. Is there anything I can do at this time to stop the foreclosure. All my modification payments from XX/XX/XXXX to now have be paid.

Consumer Complaint: I refinanced a loan with Nationstar in XXXX XXXX and every since I have been making Bi-weekly payments and since then I have to send an email through the website on my account to correct the total payment every month. All other financial institutions I deal with accepts biweekly payments accordingly with no issues. Why cant nationstar? They advertise biweekly through there system but I do automatic payments through my bank. I have used there XXXX XXXX XXXX in the past with biweekly payments and the money was placed in full once a month therefore not reducing principle and interest as it should have as advertised. I do n't understand why they cant handle biweekly payments as others do.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a mortgage payment with an additional payment for principal. My payment coupon clearly stated where the payment should be applied. The mortgage company applied this additional payment toward property inspections fees they are saying I owe. I spoke to the mortgage company and they stated they would apply the additional payment to the principal but, they have failed to so.

Consumer Complaint: I recently ordered and reviewed my Credit Reports from XXXX and XXXX. During that review, I discovered a serious mortgage loan reporting error on those reports from NationStar Mortgage. These incredible inaccuracies are having a serious, negative impact on all aspects of my life : financial, professional, personal. I 've attempted various calls to NationStar to discuss and resolve this error. The response I 've received from NationStar and its reps can only be described as a " runaround ''. I contacted them on XXXX/XXXX/16, during which time the rep took all pertinent information and told me it would be submitted for research. I re-contacted NationStar on XXXX/XXXX/16 and was told that there was no record of my earlier call. On XXXX/XXXX/16 I re-contacted NationStar and was told by that rep that no research would be done without it being requested by me in writing. On XXXX/XXXX/16 I faxed XXXX to the number given me by the XXXX rep ) a written complaint to NationStar Research Department, laying out my concerns and attaching all relevant information. It 's now been 2+ weeks. I have no acknowledgement from NationStar that my faxed complaint has been received. If it has been received I have no acknowledgement that it 's being worked on. If it is being worked on, I have no acknowledgement of an estimated timeframe to complete the research. In other words, I 'm totally in the dark ... still. Before Nationstar, this mortgage loan was serviced by XXXX and was originated by XXXX XXXX XXXX prior to that. Please investigate these matters and correct the disputed items as soon as possible.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar acquired our mortgage from XXXX in XXXX of 2015 and immediately began showing delinquency of monthly payments, which was not the case. They then began sending me letters indicating payments were missed altogether and further action would be taken to collect the debt if this was n't corrected immediately. sent statements showing two months worth of payments were due even though their own transaction history on the website showed no missed payments and all payments completed. To make matters worse, my credit report now shows XXXX missed payments and several late payments and has ruined my credit worse than it already was. Each month I receive a nasty letter saying my payment has n't been received, even though it has been deducted from my account and shows up on their own transaction history. attempts to contact them have been completely futile as the XXXX or XXXX person on the phone barely understands me nor I them. My last actual conversation with them was a XXXX minute explanation by me of their own transaction report showing all payments made and absolutely no comprehension on their part of what I was trying to illustrate. I 'm ready to sue and have consulted with an attorney on the matter, but my costs will be ridiculous in order to get this matter resolved. Please help if you can to clear this up. I feel as if the company is not a mortgage holder, but a debt collection agency which is trying to squeeze something from me they are not entitled to. I never had a single issue with XXXX by comparison, but these people need to make it right and stop harrassing me about their own incompetence. Thanks

Consumer Complaint: With all payments current at the time ( XXXX our current mortgage company XXXX XXXX XXXX took {$49000.00} in mortgage payments and decided to move it to other and as of that point we were indtsntly 3 yrs behind on our mortgage then they flipped our mortgage to Nation star who as we all know at that time was a collection agency under XXXX XXXX XXXX since XXXX in court papers we were being foreclose on by XXXX XXXX n Nation star all our dealings with the foreclosure were always directed to Nation star who refuse to deal with us in any manner saying I was not XXXX of the owners and to this day I never had an act with Nation star so how did the manage to get a deed in XXXX ( XXXX ) without ever having a note transfered by law the last recorded legal deed was by my original loaner XXXX witch Nation star kindly sent me a copy of in my foreclosure packet I want my home back no refinance the broke every law in the book and should be punished according shut them down from ever doing this to any more Americans

We know it was approximately {$1500.00} We were never notified of the theft and it is highly illegal to misuse/misappropriate escrow funds and everyone confirmed it happened here. CONSPIRICY TO COMMIT EMBEZZLEMENT ~ Nothing is an accident with these people They have worked together in a tight knit scam the Mafia would envy. I have finally gotten them to break their alliance and now we have Freedom Mortgage blaming Nationstar, Nationstar blaming Freedom Mortgage, and LoanCare blaming both of them. It is bizarre. EXTORTION ~ Worse than XXXX XXXX extortion. The XXXX has an honest loan disclosure process and they do n't change the contract along the way. They do n't double the payment when you have made every payment on time. This racketeering scam has no honest loan disclosure, they steal money we have paid, they bill us fir theft, and they bury grandma in a hole she could never dig out of XXXX. I thank God every day that this widow had sons to save her. RACKETEERING ~ This is a tight knit criminal group with no regard for the law with the intent to harm, intentionally. They prey on consumers and they prey on taxpayers. Defrauding the US Government is a cornerstone of their business plan. When fraud is found they even have a plan to foreclose and hide it. The XXXX would be proud for sure. SEVERAL VIOLATIONS OF THE TRUTH IN LENDING NOT LIMITED TO ESCROW FRAUD, ESCROW THEFT, FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE 45 DAY RULE, AND LOAN ORIGINATION FRAUD ~ The loan origination was a scam. These people made our payment go up and they added 2 years to our loan. They hid these facts with a dishonest loan disclosure process. We were never notified within the required 45 days of the loan disclosure fraud. We were never notified within the 45 days when our escrow funds were stolen or put back. We were never notified within the 45 days when they tried to cover up the loan origination and predatory lending with forced insurance.

Consumer Complaint: I am being wrongfully denied a modification of my home loan by Nationstar mortgage. A foreclosure on my property due for XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I am currently in the appeals process for the denial of the modification. After applying for the loans modification with XXXX XXXX XXXX ( " XXXX '' ), I received letter on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX stating that I am eligible for a loan modification. Shortly after I began to make my payments, XXXX transfer/sold the loan to XXXX ( " XXXX '' ) who then claimed that they do n't have to acknowledge the loan mod. and that they would be doing another modification for me. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I received a letter stating that the loan mod was denied. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I received another letter from XXXX stating that the previous denial letter was incorrectly sent and that a permanent loan mod was approved. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I was notified by XXXX that the principal balance on the most of their statements was also incorrect. My concerns with XXXX included wrong balance information, refusal to acknowledge the existing modification, who the true owner of the loan were and new threats of foreclosure. XXXX did not even have a copy of the terms and agreement of my loan mod from XXXX. During a visit with the HUD counselor, a request was made for a fax copy of the loan mod, which we complied. During that period, I inquired several times as to who are the owner of my loan with no success. I was told that the pending foreclosure was with XXXX XXXX. However, I have written to XXXX XXXX Three separate occasions ( via request for validation and QWR ) inquiring who are the actual owner of my loan. On three separate occasions I received replies from XXXX XXXX stating that they were not the owner of my loan and that the Trust was the owner of my loan. To date, I am still lost as to who actually is the true owner of my loan. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I submitted a loan Mod application, which XXXX later denied. I then sent an Appeal and Notice of Error of their XXXX XXXX, XXXX denial letter. Their denial letter stated that : " Property and/or borrower exceeds allowable number of modification '', " Insufficient Monthly Payment reduction '', " Negative NPV. '' I corrected Nationstar 's concerns and stated : In XXXX, XXXX, XXXX & XXXX XXXX was approved for a modification with a previous servicer shortly before going out of business. XXXX & XXXX XXXX loan was taken over by XXXX who refused to acknowledge the loan mod. In the application, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX claimed {$2100.00} in gross income. However, the denial letter states {$6400.00}. Also the property current value was estimated is incorrect. I also, clarified that " XXXX XXXX have indeed been offered a new position with an income of {$70000.00} per year, which may also make a significant difference. '' However, this was ignored. Instead Nationstar proceeded with plans to have my home sold on the steps of the XXXX county court on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The final reply that I sent via email as suggested was on Nationstar 's letter was ignored and I was told to mail it to an alternate address listed, which cause unnecessary delay. Nationstar also argued that my appeal was late because their reply was dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, however, my reply was dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Furthermore, my loan summary stating {$1300.00} is incorrect. Nationstar is in violation of the Fair Credit Report Acr ( " FCRA '' ) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( " FDCPA '' ). The last reply that was sent via email, ( as suggested was on Nationstar 's letter ) was ignored and I was told to mail the letter to an alternate address also listed, see attached. The CFPB outline rules to protect consumers that Natiostar have ignored, such as : 1. Errors Corrected and Information Provided Quickly XXXX. Maintain Accurate and Accessible Documents and Information 3. Restricted Dual-Tracking : 4. No Foreclosure Sale Until All Other Alternatives Considered.

Consumer Complaint: I have a conventional loan with Nationstar mortgage. I 'm selling my house and need a payoff quote for XX/XX/XXXX. They continue to send me payoff amounts for XX/XX/XXXX insisting they are incapable of calculating the amount for today. They tried to tell me I can calculate the amount myself and send it to them, or send their amount and request a refund. I explained I do n't want to and them {$600.00} extra and wait 4-6 weeks for a refund. They continue to insist their system can not calculate this amount. Totally unacceptable service.
