Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX has reported that I owe a debt of {$5900.00}. They have sent the debt to National Credit System collectors. I notified XXXXXXXX XXXX of my plans to move to XXXX Texas due to a new job which I started in XX/XX/2023. I closed on a house in that same month. I did not leave unpaid rental fees for the lease that was up in XXXX of XXXX. During the exit tour of the apartment the property manager, who is no longer employed at XXXX XXXX, gave me the ok that all was fine ; the apartment was not damaged, it was clean and I passed the exit tour with nothing due. I gave notice of intent not to renew my lease in plenty of time but it is noted here that I tried 7 times to meet with the management team to acknowledge the receipt of notice. I continue to have repeated unanswered communication with XXXX XXXX. I have had one returned cal from a district manager who said she would get back with me and I have not heard from her since. I have repeatedly requested an itemized list of charges from National Credit Assc and have received nothing. I need help in getting this resolved. After hundreds of people left with unpaid rental charges after the pandemic and did not get docked for it- yet I get docked for keeping my rent paid, depleted my savings for doing so, then got a great new job... gave plenty of notice per my lease, left no unpaid charges... yet I am reported to the credit bureau for nearly {$6000.00}. I NEED HELP!!!!

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute a fraudulent account with National Credit Systems that has been listed under my name in my credit report. As per the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), I am requesting that you investigate this matter and delete the account from my credit report, as I do not have any contract with National Credit Systems, nor is any money owed on my part. This is fraud and damaging my credit report unfairly and I wish to prosecute.

Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems continues to report this fraudulent debt with the XXXX XXXX although it was disputed and deleted from my credit due to fraud. I have sent several disputes to this company to delete and it keeps showing up in other places. I am demanding this fraudulent debt be deleted PERMANENTLY from ALL SOURCES as it violates my rights and protection as a victim of identity theft. This is causing me a great deal of stress as its affecting my ability to secure housing for me and my family and if not deleted asap I will have no choice but to seek legal remedy.

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern : I received a letter in the mail from you recently specifying that I owe your company or who ever your company represents for an alleged debt. The date of the letters is XXXX, the account number on the document is XXXX and the alleged amount owed is XXXX. Also, under the provisions of state and federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), and related consumer statutes, I am now instructing you to cease collection of the debt ; you should neither contact me nor anyone else except the creditor about this collection. Furthermore, any reporting of this matter to credit reporting agencies is premature. You should not relay negative information to a credit reporting agency. If negative information has already been reported, you must notify the agency to remove said report until the investigative process is over so that my credit report remains accurate, or at the very least, my credit report should be updated to reflect my dispute. I am instructing you not to contact any third parties such as my employer, neighbors, friends or family members. Also, you may not contact me by phone at work or my home about this collection activity. All future correspondence should be sent to me in writing. THIS IS A THIRD PARTY COLLECTION COMPANY THAT HAS DELETED THIS ACCOUNT FROM MY HUSBANDS CREDIT AND NOW TRYING TO SCAM ME. I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN THE STATE OF WASHINGON. YOU DONT HAVE LISCENSE TO COLLECT IN WASHINGTON OR SOUTH CAROLINA . YOU ARE NOT PROPERLY REPORTING THIS ACCOUNT AND DAMAGING MY CREDIT. THE GA STATE ATTORNIES OFFICE HAS BEEN NOTIFIED, AL WELL AS THE CFPB AND FTC

Consumer Complaint: The property management company did not notify myself, my sublessor, or my guarantor that there was a debt owed as of XX/XX/XXXX. The debt was turned over to a collections agency in the name of my guarantor on XX/XX/XXXX. This is illegal as debt needs to be over 30 days old in order to be turned over. I emailed property management on XX/XX/XXXX, when the notice was received. I was told it would be looked into, there have been two attempts to follow up to no avail. I do not know what this debt is for, and it was illegally sent to a collections agency too early.
