Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX threatened to sue me for eviction after I filed for assistance with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They continued to harass me until I moved out of the apartment. Afterwards, I was notified that the eviction was canceled after my approval for rental relief. They opted not to accept the rental relief assistance, and instead referred a XXXX collection account to National Credit Services . I have disputed this account on my credit report multiple times as I was terminated from a previous job during COVID and had debt assistance that should have canceled the rent. Additionally, I had a deposit contract, as recommended by the leasing company, that would have released me from any obligation to repair or pay and I was charged both in the final invoice.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent a validation of debt letter and cease and desist to National Credit Systems XXXX times. They scam consumers by changing their address which is different on each credit report multiple times. XXXX XXXX ( attached ) has XXXX address, XXXX and XXXX have another address ( attached ), their website shows a third address ( attached ) and on another listing of theirs it shows a XXXX address. I've sent letters to all XXXX and they refuse service or they come back to me. I also emailed them the letter AGAIN ( evidence attached ) and still nothing. This apartment was a corporate apartment and my previous company stated in writing from their attorney on my separation agreement that they would take over the apartment and costs. I have no actual paperwork from the apartment complex or National Credit Systems showing a debt or how to dispute or anything. I will not pay this until I get that. Until then I have rights under fair credit reporting.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to address a critical matter concerning the alleged debt associated with my account, which is currently being handled by National Credit Systems. My name is XXXX XXXX, and as a federally protected consumer under various federal statutes including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), the Truth in Lending Act ( TILA ), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), I am aware of my rights and protections. I want to make it clear that I have not granted National Credit Systems authorization to possess my nonpublic personal information, and therefore, any alleged agreement or contract between us is null and void. Furthermore, I assert that the alleged debt is a result of a billing error, and I insist on receiving documentary evidence of the obligor 's indebtedness. Your company 's actions have not only led to duress and coercion in attempting to collect this alleged debt but have also caused significant harm to my credit reputation. Under the provisions of the FCRA, I am legally entitled to dispute and request the removal of inaccurate or unverified information from my credit report. I hereby demand that within 14 days from the date of this letter, you take immediate action to : 1. Cease all communication and collection activities related to this alleged debt, as I am legally refusing payment under 15 U.S. Code 1692c ( c ). 2. Provide sufficient a nd documented evidence of the validity of the alleged debt. 3. Remove any and all references to this alleged debt from my credit report. Failure to comply with this demand within the stipulated timeframe will leave me with no choice but to pursue legal action to address your company 's violations of various statutes, including but not limited to XXXX, FCRA, and others. Please understand the gravity of this situation and the potential consequences of non-compliance. I expect a comprehensive response within the specified 14-day window to confirm that these actions have been taken. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to seek your assistance regarding an issue I have encountered with National Credit Systems. On XX/XX/2023, I sent them a pay-to-delete letter, as I am trying to rectify an outstanding balance of {$4900.00} reported in my credit history. In the letter, I proposed a pay-to-delete agreement in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the 15 USC Codes. I offered to make a payment of 10 % of the total debt, amounting to {$490.00}, as a gesture of good faith and as an effort to resolve this matter in a mutually beneficial manner. I believe a pay-to-delete agreement would be advantageous to both parties and would encourage an amicable resolution to this matter. Under the FCRA and the 15 USC Codes, consume rs have the right to dispute any inaccurate or incomplete information listed on their credit reports. I understand that National Credit Systems is given a response period of 15-30 days upon receipt of the letter. However, as of today, XX/XX/2023, I have not yet received any response from them regarding the proposed pay-to-delete agreement, despite their obligation to respond within the stipulated timeframe. I am contacting you, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, to assist me in this matter. I am hopeful that your intervention will prompt National Credit Systems to adhere to the FCRA and the 15 USC Codes by considering my pay-to-delete proposal and responding accordingly. I would be grateful for any advice or assistance you can provide, and I am more than willing to supply any additional information you may need to handle this matter effectively. Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I was coerced into paying over {$1500.00} to National Credit Systems for damages on a rental manufactured home from XXXX XXXX that was naturally caused by wear and tear and negligent maintenance services. I was told about taking action but that was not an option for me due to severely limited resources. I was told by the representative also to send written letters of my case, but those letters got lost in the mail and told me email was not an option when they do in fact have email. They told me a payment plan was an option for me on to recant the next day and said it had to be paid in full. The representative I spoke to also use intimidation tactics by threatening to report on my credit for something I did not sign or agree to and may have illegally obtained my information. In the process she also accused me of acting " hostile '' when she was coercing my to pay up something that I shouldn't have to pay.
