Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I have taken every legal step required of me to dispute an item on my credit report. First, attempting to contact National Credit Systems, the debt collector, to dispute this as totally inaccurate, which I was met with the most hateful attitude and hung up on. Then, attempting to dispute the item with National Credit System 's " law firm '', which had me send them documentation showing proof that this is not valid. They simply responded by telling me that I didn't even know what the debt was about and was completely wrong and not to contact them ever again. Next, I continued on with disputing with all three credit bureaus, this was in XXXX XXXX. Within two weeks of receiving my documentation, XXXX removed this item, stating that it was clearly incorrect. Every single month since XXXX of XXXX, I have fought and fought to have this removed from XXXX, including sending copies of official bank documents and a letter from the corporate offices of my bank stating that what was being claimed by the debt collector was completely false and not even possible. During this time, I have received several letters attempting to refuse to even investigate this matter, telling me that " they only have to investigate once, ever, and refused to do so again ''. I knew better and have called them out on their refusal to investigate, multiple times. I have also had to hire an attorney to fight this false information. All correspondence from my lawyer to National Credit Systems and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, have been ignored. The first few letters to XXXX were met with stall tactics and misinformation. My lawyer sent another dispute letter on XX/XX/XXXX, then XX/XX/XXXX they received a response letter. This response letter was confirming that they were looking into a credit file item, the item mentioned WAS NOT from my credit report, but someone else 's. So, my lawyer had to send another letter asking to please look into MY credit report and the item 's information again, as they had mixed up my information with that of another person. This response was from XXXX XXXX Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate, whose office I called to make sure they were looking into the correct file and make sure they had my supporting documentation. When I called, they attempted to tell me that I was incorrect and that my lawyer had sent them the wrong info, which I responded to with the fact that I have a copy of the letter the lawyer sent and it was in fact correct. They finally pulled that letter up in their system and acknowledged that I was in fact correct and gave me the fax number to send my supporting documentation, since they apparently could not find anything I had ever sent. On XX/XX/XXXX, they faxed an apology for mixing up the information and acknowledged that they had received my faxed documents and would re investigate again. I have now received a response report ( XX/XX/XXXX ) with the same 1 out of 2 responses that they always send, " updated information ''. The only updated information that I see is that they have allowed the debt collector to falsify an account history with varied " Account Balance '' amounts, going through to XX/XX/XXXX, even though the supposed owed amount has always been the same " {$1000.00} '' and the debt collector first started this farce XX/XX/XXXX. The original creditor is an apartment complex, claiming rent was not paid, even though they were given proof from the bank, they turned this file over to the debt collector in XX/XX/XXXX. It has been obvious from the start that the debt collector is completely dishonest and does not care that this debt is totally bogus. From my experiences dealing with this, XXXX is just as dishonest, shady and simply doesn't care how badly they affect a person 's credit. Because this is the only negative item and over {$1000.00}, on my credit report, I have been denied credit, had to pay higher interest rates and much higher insurance rates. XXXX is clearly ignoring the dishonest behaviors of this debt collector and has zero good intentions with regard to others. I also recently discovered that during one of my many calls to dispute this item, someone at XXXX took it upon themselves to add a " ID Security Alert '' to my credit report, which I have since asked to have removed and they have also ignored that. Having this " ID Security Alert '' on my credit report has also made life more difficult when it comes to using my own credit.

Consumer Complaint: I reached out to this company and credit bureaus to inform them all that this account was open fraudulently. I sent them certified letters on XX/XX/2018, XX/XX/2018, and XX/XX/2018. It is now XX/XX/2018. I sent the NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEM a copy of my police report, ID Thief Affidavit, ID, and my social security card. The company has not responded to any of my letter directly, which is a direct violation of the fair credit reporting act. The only resolution is to remove this fraudulent account removed from my XXXX immediately which is in direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting act.

Consumer Complaint: The collections company : National Credit Systems , Inc. ( NCSI ) has been attempting to collect a debt from me since XX/XX/2015. I didn't feel obligated to pay the debt because I was living in an Apartment Complex where the maintenance and office staff were harassing me and my roommate by " XXXX us with odors '' that made us feel noxious and sick and made it hard for me to sleep at night, which made it hard to go to work the next day and hard to go to work the next day. The Apartment Complex is called XXXX XXXX, in XXXX AZ, and the it was apt XXXX that I left w/out paying to break the lease. Me & my roommate kept calling police, fire dept., and even hired a private investigator to try and find out who was " XXXX us '' and how they were doing it. We concluded that it was an inside job, because when it first started and we had the manager come over to smell the odor, she said of course, that she could not, and the same w/the maintenance staff so we were unable to say that the apartment was uninhabitable to break the lease. We ended up having to go through the AZ Tenant Association ( ATA ) and followed XXXX XXXX advice to not break the lease and not have any contact w/the collections agency. After a year of doing this, I tired of the phone calls from everywhere at all hours, and I ended up calling them and attempted to dispute that we owed any money since we were the ones that were harassed by odors being pumped into our apartment, making it inhabitable. If there were no odors or ( harassment ), we wouldn't have left. NCSI stated they investigated but they didn't find any evidence to validate our claims. I didn't set up a payment plan w/them or call them after this, however, the horror story of being harassed by odors being pumped into any place we have rented since leaving XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has been ongoing, and we believe it is now being done by the collectors that work for the agency. I have moved every year since leaving XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to find a place that is safe where the odors will not happen to us, not because I enjoy spending the money it has cost me to move, even paying to break leases, in an attempt to escape the harassment as the odors inevitably start again in about XXXX mos. every time I have moved in to a new place. I have moved XXXX times in the XXXX years since leaving XXXX. I am not living in a house I rented thinking I could escape being harassed if I didn't rent an apartment, townhome or condo which are more closely spaced together and often times share the same ventilation systems, making it easier to have access to, but I'm still being XXXX by smells here! This has got to stop, please help me with this ongoing harassment.

Consumer Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, The reason for my dispute is NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS # XXXX was required to notify me no later than 30 days after furnishing the negative information to credit bureau reports, in writing ... under such section 623, subsection ( 7 ) ( A ). However, in my records I am unable to locate documentation that they complied with this requirement, which is a violation of the FCRA & FDCPA. Also, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX failed to give me my " Mini-Miranda '' five days prior to placing this derogatory item on all of my credit reports, per Section 807 ( 11 ) & FDCPA 809, which is {$1000.00} per violation and the state of OHIO allows treble damages. Under 809. Validations of date and Mini-Mirandi under Section 807 ( 1 ) NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS failed to send me my initial communication before placing this alleged item on my credit reports further violating the FCRA, with {$1000.00} per violation. NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS # XXXX is held liable as well for defamation and in the state of OHIO a creditor is who collects their on debt is considered a debt collector under XXXX Taking assignment of debts. FDCPA I fail to see where NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS is in compliance with OHIO LAW. I also believe that this business is not registered to operate in the state of OHIO I expect this collection account to be removed from my credit report. NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS. has not even tried to contact me regarding this collection account. Please have them remove this collection account immediately. Thank you!

Consumer Complaint: Despite having disputed the invalidity of the debt this company is continuously attempting to collect, they have continuously sent me written letters lying, and falsely claiming that I had not contacted the company to dispute the invalidity of the debt. Despite warning them that I will file a police report against them if they continue to not understand that this debt is invalid and try to communicate with me further and thereby, harass me ... they have continued to commit more, similar annoying behavior. Also, none of the charges listed on the final receipt have a justifiable basis, the same receipt has been sent to me by XXXX, the parent company of XXXX XXXX, and then also by national credit systems , inc. and are just numbers attached next to a dollar sign, which they've printed off and sent over to me and my guarantor, unsigned. They have then asked for me to pay this invalid amount which is supposedly a debt according to them, and supposedly something that I am supposed to pay to them despite it being invalid. I have already explained this to National Credit Systems , Inc and have explained to XXXX that these invalid charges are invalid as no evidence for them exist. I did not at any point in time agree to pay any kind of an invalid charge to anybody, and neither did my guarantor. The situation concerning the invalidity of the debt, and how the debt being invalid was going to be settled, was already decided upon and a judgement had been made, during an earlier complaint which the XXXX had arbitrated between myself and XXXX. They have falsely reported this invalid debt to one ( to my knowledge ) credit reporting agency, and they have also claimed in their very recent letter they have mailed to me stating that they have reported it to two other national credit reporting agencies. Being that every single one of my interactions with them have been dishonest, I do not know how empty their threats are and exactly what they are going to do to further negatively impact me. i have already filed for an investigation to take place to fix the inaccuracy on my XXXX credit report. Please help me. Just to provide you with more context, the debt they are claiming is what they are collecting ( but in fact, is invalid debt ) is invalid as it is, as I had spoken to the assistant manager about my early lease termination and to which he agreed and permitted me to do so. He permitted me to, and we both mutually ( him acting on behalf of his company as he is a qualified, representative and management personnel ) terminated the lease. The situation being that I had provided my tenant early notice of my intent to move out, had explained my situation and reasoning for having to vacate early, and even helped the landlord mitigate costs by helping find a sublet tenant..but unfortunately, although i tried, i wasn't succesful in signing a suitable sublet-tenant so the assistant manager on behalf of his team agreed to take over in the finding of a suitable sublease-tenant, instead. We mutually agreed to terminate the lease, and he allowed me to move out. I couldn't work to earn a steady income, and had to withdraw my college classes due to health conditions and due to unfair practices taking place against me by two university systems.I had to move back home to another city to recover, and come back to health. It just didn't seem fair for me to have to pay for an apartment I could not although i wish i could have, but was not at all going to be using, so after reading an article on XXXX offering tenant rights on early termination of leases and steps they could take, they suggested that I explain the situation to property management/landlord and mutually terminate the lease, and with their permission move out of that apartment. A XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and a House Collector, have continuously pestered me and bothered me despite having asked their entire organization and anyone else related to this matter to stop contacting me. National Credit Systems , Inc. has placed this invalid debt amount on my XXXX Credit report, for which I have had to file an investigation disputing the invalidity of the debt. I received a letter today, XX/XX/2018 from National Credit Systems , Inc. stating that they have reported this invalid debt to all three credit reporting agencies and have also threatened that they are going to inform their client ( XXXX/XXXX XXXX XXXX ) to file a lawsuit against me to collect this invalid debt amount. Me and my guarantor have continuously been pestered unnecessarily by this organization starting from XX/XX/2018 to XX/XX/2018. XX/XX/2018 is when XXXX XXXX ( National Credit Systems , Inc. ) began unnecessarily contacting me over the phone, and that too, all he did was antagonize me assuming that the invalid debt was somehow valid, despite it certainly not being so. After XXXX had revealed his true intentions and that he on behalf of his company was attempting to collect an invalid debt, and that National Credit Systems , Inc. was using unlawful methods of collecting invalid debt ( XXXX XXXX 's claim over the phone call was that my returning of his call was proof that the validity of the debt was valid. ), I explained to him that I will place a complaint against him with the police. He then got scared, and attempted to reroute my call to another representative over the phone. I then decided to hang up the phone call having understood the fraudulent, corruptive actions which were being taken against me to illegally acquire money from me and my guarantor. On XX/XX/XXXX, me and my guarantor had both mailed letters stating, and confirming the invalidity of the debt and had stated that we did not want to be further contacted whatsoever, by anyone related to this matter. Both letters in their electronic versions are attached below and are listed as : nationalcreditsystems.docx, and XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and National Credit Systems , Inc., I suspect, have been acting in collaboration to collect this invalid debt, and have continued to bring up the invalid debt many times over the course of this year to attempt to convince me that it is valid, and real ... when it is not. I have filed several complaints against National Credit Systems , Inc. as well as XXXX involving the FTC ( early XX/XX/2018 ), as well as the XXXX Police Department on XX/XX/2018, and the XXXX XXXX XXXX ( once in the spring of XX/XX/2018, and once again on XX/XX/2018 ). The final document attached to this complaint is of the conversation between myself and the parent company of XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). This is the email conversation which had occurred and where, I had once before, confirmed the invalidity of the debt alongside having had clarified and stated the dispute and its reasoning.

Consumer Complaint: After renting from XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Ky. XXXX for 2.5 years never being late for rent, never being wrote up I received a 30 notice to vacate by the XX/XX/XXXX, no reasons, because when I started living there I was a truck driver and three months after being there I had to stop because of health problems, which made it hard to get a apartment cause I had started getting XXXX XX/XX/XXXX my income had changed, so it took me to the end of the month before I found one, but I did not come back to the premises after XX/XX/XXXX, I went to a XXXX XXXX and stayed a little over a week, put my furniture in storage. I got in the new apartment the XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX did not look back or go back to the other apartment cause of being furious about what they had did. Left the deposit. About XX/XX/XXXX I went online and saw that XXXX XXXX said I had some activity and found a bill from a credit collection agency for XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Ky. XXXX for XXXX one of the bills was for rent of XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX and I had vacated and the other was for late fees of XXXX a constable fee, a clean up fee, etc. I see it as gouging me and extortion for a outrageous amount as you will see on the last rent payment is XXXX which there was a XXXX lockout fee which I thought was overly priced for a key and XXXX or XXXX fee over XXXX utility cap, they were also known to charge XXXX a day late fees for rent, etc. I did not find out about these outrageous fees until after I moved in. My point being is that I never knew about this XXXX charge until I checked XXXX XXXX, I had no chance to dispute before it went to my credit report, I am walking with a cane it wasn't like I was running around in the apartment tearing up stuff deliberately.
