Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems Inc is reporting a incorrect collection to my XXXX credit report. I contacted both bureau and collection to confirm this wasn't my account. They investigated and reported it as verified but wouldn't furnish any of the requested documents to verify that validity of this account. When I contacted the agency, they couldn't divulge any info about the account due to my personal info not being what they have in their system. This is wrong and it is also a crime and they need to remove this item from my credit immediately. Ive never lived at this address or been to this address nor has this address ever been on my credit. This is not my account.

Consumer Complaint: I rented at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for one year. I moved out early because the landlord wouldnt fix the boiler and it had been stuck on for months and I made several complaints. I had to sleep with the windows open and the ac on in the winter and would come home to a XXXX degree home. It was now the summer so I moved out early ( in XXXX ), and then paid XXXX rent. My lease was up in XXXX so I decided not to pay it as I believed my deposit would cover the last months rent and had received in writing from the property manager that the apartment was in perfect condition. I did not trust the landlord to send me my deposit in the mail after paying the last months rent because they had not fixed the boiler for 6 months. However, the security deposit did not cover the last month of prorated rent because the landlord cleverly only charged {$500.00} for the deposit and then had other charges to cover the rest when I moved in ( ~ {$170.00} admin fee, application fee, and other misc. fees ). After not paying last months rent, I never received a single communication from the property manager or landlord. I did not receive a call, text, email, postal mail, etc. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from National Credit Systems notifying me of Documents Ive requested, I had never heard of National Credit Systems, not have I requested documents from them. The letter stated I owe {$390.00} and that it was 30 days past due. Additionally, there was no contact info to dispute the charges with XXXX XXXX, National Credit Systems, or the property manager. Someone on behalf of the creditor waited 30 days to notify me so I would be unable to file a proper dispute. I responded to the email and copied XXXX XXXX stating this and that the charges were wrong. The math used to calculate prorated rent was incorrect and they charged me an additional {$95.00} for turnover cleaning charges, even though the property manager, XXXX, stated it was in perfect condition. I tried calling XXXX XXXX and no one would answer. No one has responded to my email either. I have prepared a correct calculation of the prorated rent, XXXX XXXX claimed to prorate rent for 25 days, but upon doing the math myself, it was not 25 days.

Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX, a federally protected consumer, and I am making this complaint against ( National Credit System ) for committing identity theft. I have never given ( National Credit System ), any permission to use any of my identifying information to commit mail fraud by contacting me about an alleged debt they claim I owe. I am aware that in accordance with Article 9, the assignment of a defaulted note is illegal. Both the assignee and the assigned are both liable for violations under 15 U.S. Code 1692e ( 12 ). I have not validated any alleged debt with ( National Credit System ) and my failure to dispute the validity of these alleged debts shall not be construed as an admission of liability. As of XX/XX/2023, I have not received any documentary evidence, such as a trilateral contract, giving ( National Credit System ) any right to collect on this alleged debt. I have never received any documentation requesting validation from ( National Credit System ), before they committed multiple violations under the FCRA and the FDCPA by furnishing this alleged debt to my consumer report, including but not limited to 15 U.S. Code 1692d ( 4 ) which the FTC defines as debt parking. If ( National Credit System ), can not provide me with proof such as a tracking number that they attempted to lawfully validate this alleged debt with me, the consumer, prior to furnishing it on my consumer report, this has been a fraudulently furnished account with forethought and malice as an attempt to bring harm to me and my financial reputation. I am legally refusing to pay this debt pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1692c ( c ). I am demanding a cease and desist of all illegal activity, any communication and collection activity, of this and any alleged debts until ( National Credit System ), can provide me with sufficient documentary evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay them. If this documentary evidence can not be produced and ( National Credit System ), continues its collection efforts, I will file for litigation for actual damages caused and, ( National Credit System ) will be held criminally liable for aggravated identity theft pursuant to 18 USC 1028A, extortion, theft by deception, securities fraud, and mail fraud. Upon the receipt of the documents herein and of this notice, you are hereby notified Pursuant UCC 1-202f. Your prompt attention and response are both requested and required.

Consumer Complaint: Two different collectors are charging me on behalf of an apartment complex for rent. They are also charging the wrong person. I never owned a apartment on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Tx XXXX. The person who actually had a lease agreement at the apartment ( the collectors are trying to charge me DOUBLE for ) is named XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX date of birth is XXXX XXXX XXXX and his S.Security # XXXX. These charges belong to XXXX XXXX it was his lease and the apartment XXXX said she had to have my name since I was his girlfriend just so when staff saw me they would know I had a right to be there as a visitor but that was a lie because now Im stuck with two bills. Now I will list the two credit collectors : 1 ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( side note : here they are lying about the Date open again when its XXXX ) * This is fraud. These companies are trying to get over on me and was very nasty when I called them about this and the they both updated the the open dates after I phoned them. They told me I had to pay this when I never got this apartment in my name! AND both of them are charging me for the same apartment and different prices! Help please. This should not be in my credit report. I also want to add that XXXX XXXX had stayed full term at that apartment but on the last month he was supposed to pay rent, he did not pay. Instead he moved out with it BUT that was only {$1000.00} he didnt pay so where are they getting over {$3000.00} from? Nothing about this is right. I even called the apartment complex ( XXXX XXXX ) and they have know idea what these collections are about and they couldnt find me in their system either!

Consumer Complaint: Timeline XX/XX/XXXX Visit XXXX XXXX for a tour. The agent XXXX told us there is no fee for today if we want to apply. XXXX showed us a model apartment and asked for my ID in order to allow us to tour. I did not like the model, but she said there are others, so I just need to agree to a credit check. I complied. After the tour I left without any agreement or request for payment for anything. XX/XX/XXXX I received an e-mail with a lease attached. In the middle of XXXX The office called my friend I was there with and asked if I was still interested. I called back and told her I am not interested. She said no problem. XX/XX/XXXX I received an e-mail asking me to pay {$310.00} for fees I owe. I called again but this time XXXX hang up on me after telling me I owe them an application fee. I asked for a written proof that I signed anything which she never provided. I sent in my friend to pick up any proof. They printed out my credit application and highlighted a sentence that does not apply to me. I never signed any document or lease. I was told the credit application was free of charge by XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX and XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I received numerous e-mails threatening me with collections. They stopped answering my calls so I asked a friend to make a call from his office to talk to them. He spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX who abruptly and rudely also hang up on him. XX/XX/XXXX I sent a registered mail to them letting them know I do not owe any money. I sent regular and certified mail. The regular mail never came back undelivered, however the certified mail was never collected and returned to me. The letter my friend got from the office states the application fee is required at time of leasing. I never entered into a lease. XX/XX/XXXX received letter from NCS XXXX Replied to NCS in writing registered mail, told them I do not owe any monies. XX/XX/XXXX Received second collection attempt letter. Letter stated I never replied to their demand and my credit is at risk. XX/XX/XXXX Called and left a message to make sure they are aware that I replied. XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX called and tried to explain that they reduced the debt to {$240.00} and just to pay it. He sent his supporting document he received from his client. I asked for written proof I owe anything with my signature on it. He sent the lease document I already receive back in XXXX, with no signatures. He also sent a bill showing the {$310.00} balance, which I never agreed to pay. I am here by requesting a valid verification of this debt. Not a bill or a lease form that was never executed. This company is trying to extort money from me. They sent an invalid claim to a debt collector and refuse to withdraw. The collection agency is National Credit Systems and they are very unprofessional, stating I owe money, because their client said so and provided a bill that is not valid. This case looks very complicated, I would like to speak to someone to explain, but also can write a letter to the person reviewing this complaint. I need to stop them from this kind of practice. They are " only '' looking for {$310.00}, but I do not owe them anything. Very frustrating that they can refer anyone without any proof or signature to a collection agency and try to extort money. Please help me get this resolved, I do not have money to pay them or an attorney to hire. There are a lot of bad reviews about this entity, unfortunately I did not know this before contacting them. I found a few other people already complaining online about being ripped off. The amount of this scam is fairly small, so I believe most people just pay and not able or just have no time to actually report it. This company is extorting money from people and if you do not pay they send you to collections, which scares most people into paying. Please give me a call so I can explain my situation and hopefully you can make them stop, by exposing their scam. Today XX/XX/XXXX they reported illegally to all my credit bureaus, even after me sending written correspondence. Also I found after a simple XXXX search there are several complaint online about this practice with this company. They are extorting money from everyone. Because of the small amount people are mostly scared into paying and let it go. They need to be investigated and shut down. I must pay today, so they will remove the derogatory mark from my credit report. I want my money back and these crooks prosecuted!

Consumer Complaint: My ex husband forged my name On a lease for an apartment complex to get a lease on apartment after we broke up and got divorced. I was living since XX/XX/2018 with XXXX XXXX ( now my husband ) at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Fl XXXX. Can verify this XXXX. The credit bureau removed it once and then have added it back, and I keep disputing it, but they will not remove it. NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS has no authority to post a collection. They never sued me or brought any civil action ( which I would have gladly defended myself and won in a courtroom ) so they can not just add a collection and RUIN my Credit just because they feel like it. They have NO judgement or Lien against me. PLEASE make them remove this. It is hurting me trying to buy a car, or buy a home. My signature appears NOWHERE because I signed nothing. PLEASE HELP ME.

Consumer Complaint: We gave notice of early lease termination to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX on XX/XX/2023, for a final move-out date of XX/XX/2023. On XX/XX/2023 the Early Termination Fee in the amount of {$3700.00} was applied to our account. All balances were paid, and account balance was {$0.00} not to include security deposit credit in the amount of {$500.00}. we have accompanying documentation and bank statements, as well as the lease terms regarding lease break fees. As well as a 12 month history of payments, provided by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/2023 a second lease termination fee of {$3700.00} was improperly applied to our account and we received an email with a final account statement on XX/XX/2023 that included the incorrectly applied fee. We immediately called the leasing office for clarification. Unfortunately, we were not able to speak with the management at the time. However, we received an updated statement that same day on XX/XX/2023 that removed the second fee, and updated the account to reflect the correct balances owed. We have a copy of this statement, detailing we are due a refund of {$410.00} Today, XX/XX/2023, we received a call from a debt collection agency " National Credit Systems '' in an attempt to collect the debt that we do not owe, in the amount of {$3300.00} We immediately filed a dispute, contacted the leasing office, and contacted multiple regulatory bodies to include yourself. A review of online reviews of this landlord shows that our experience is neither unique, nor isolated. We firmly believe several other households have experienced the same fraudulent practices and we believe an Audit would be in order of this companies finances and practices with collection accounts in arrears, to include fraudulent activity and " Double dipping '' on fees.
