Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems is listed on my credit report. Reported by XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX SC which I never lived there. I sent them a certified letter to provide me proof that this bill is in fact mine. I asked for copies of a lease agreement with my name and other items to provide me proof. I sent the letter about 3 weeks and no response yet. I want this removed from all three credit bureaus effective immediately. They are very rude and disrespectful.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: For about two years now, National Credit Systems , Inc in XXXX, GA has continuously and repeatedly attempted to coerce and induce me to pay a debt of {$2700.00} which I do not owe. National Credit Systems , Inc. has repeatedly failed to validate and substantiate my Contractual Agreement with them, bearing my signature. Their blatant disregard and exploitation in filing negative information on my credit profile with all the credit reporting agencies has continued to cause me and my family pains, costing me opportunities for good jobs, and financial pains and inability to even rent an apartment.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I pulled my 3-bureau credit reports from XXXX and found a collection from National Credit Systems in the amount of {$3200.00} on behalf of XXXX XXXX. I noticed that the debt was a joint account, and I never had a joint lease with someone else in the past. So I sent National Credit Systems a letter asking them to verify the debt, specifically asking for proof such as a breakdown of fees and how they calculated the debt. I also asked for some type of proof that the debt was mine, such as signed documents by me or anything that would identify me as responsible for the debt. Knowing that this debt is not mine, I was confident that they could not prove this debt as mine and I intended have the false collection removed from all 3 bureau reports. However, when I received a letter back from National Credit Systems, I found that not only had they not given me any supporting documentation proving that I am responsible for this debt, but they also INCREASED the amount they claim I owe by more than double. They now claim I owe {$6900.00}, and they intend to " update '' this with the 3-bureaus. What's worse, they typed " Enclosed you will find documentation provided to us by XXXX XXXX. '' and tere was no documentation enclosed. Only the single letter which I have attached to this complaint was in the envelope. I believe they placed this statement deceptively to make it seem as if documentation was sent, when truly it was not. I find it very difficult to understand where they got either of these totals, especially since the credit bureaus reported that the last time this debt was supposedly verified was XX/XX/2020. I have tried to dispute this with the bureaus as well, but the entry remains. I would like to finally get this false collection removed from my credit reports so I can move on with my life.

Consumer Complaint: Firstly, National Credit Systems Inc. reported a collection of {$5500.00} to my XXXX account. I totally don't know this collection, it doesn't belong me. I disputed in XXXX and called National Credit Systems Inc. for this issue. National Credit Systems Inc. asked my information including SSN and address, and said that I don't need to do anything except ignore this wrong information. But several weeks later, I received a letter from National Credit Systems Inc.. They asked me to pay this collection. I called them again and they said that the collection is not mine, and this letter send to me by mistake. However, National Credit Systems Inc. reported this collection again to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX after the call. I need to dispute again and again to delete this collection. I suspect that they defrauded my personal information and updated it to the collection. it caused me to fail in the XXXX dispute. Their behavior damaged my credit, directly causing two extra hard pull, failure to apply apartment and credit cards.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: HI AND HOW ARE YOU? You continue to report incomplete and unverifiable negative items on my credit - how is that even possible? I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and I still found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. You have 30 days upon receipt of this letter to provide strict proof of contract. In the event you can not provide strict proof of contract, you must cease and desist any and all collection efforts and immediately remove any derogatory information reported to the consumer reporting agencies. In addition, you will need to provide me your agreement, in writing, that you are closing your file, ceasing collecting activity, and deleting all information related to this reference number from any and all credit reports youve furnished the information to. In the event you transfer this account to an attorney without providing proof of contract, and proving your claim, he/she will be immediate reported to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX for code of ethics violations.
