Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems, INC-Debt Collection Agency Current Creditor ; XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Balance : {$1400.00} I read a letter that was dated XX/XX/2020 from National Credit Systems , Inc stating that I owed the Current Creditor the balance above, the letter was an attempt to collect a debt. The letter stated in bold letters of my rights to notify National Credit Systems in writing within 30 days of receiving the notice my dispute of the validity of the above debt and that National Credit Systems , Inc would obtain verification of the debt or obtain a copy of a judgement and mail a copy of such judgement or verification ... .. and that the office would provide the name and address of the original creditor. On XX/XX/2020 the day I received the letter, I wrote and mailed first class a letter to National Credit Systems , Inc. disputing the validity of the debt, I stated that I do not owe for a carpet replacement in the amount of {$1400.00} and that all that I believe I owe the apartments was around {$55.00} dollars for a light bill. I stated that I have a video of the apartment when I moved out that shows that the carpet and apartment was left clean and in good condition. On XXXX XXXX I read another letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that I did not make suitable arrangements to resolve the above-referenced debt and that they would soon report the account to one or more of the consumer reporting agencies and still requested a payment from me. On XX/XX/2020 the day I received another letter from National Credit Systems , INC, I immediately called and spoke with the Collection Representative named XXXX XXXX @ XXXX @ XXXX, I told her that the apartments and charges are in dispute, I told her that I have video proof that I do not owe to replace the whole carpet and that all I owe is a water bill that's around {$55.00}, she said ok and she would note the account. Today. XX/XX/2020 I received an alert from XXXX stating that I have a MAJOR DEROGATORY DEBT FROM National Credit Systems that was reported on XX/XX/2020 and opened for 3-months..XX/XX/XXXX.which instantly dropped my credit. So, I called XXXX XXXX and spoke with her, I told her I never received any type of documentation from them regarding the validity of the charges or debt nor did I receive a copy of the judgement in which the letter stated I would in bold. XXXX XXXX was shocked and at a lost of words, she read her notes and saw my dispute letter, she also saw an email from XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX where all they provided was a copy of the lease and not walk-thru information or any validity of the debt according to XXXX XXXX. National Credit Systems violated my rights and never provided the proper documentation to prove the disputed debt, instead they looked over my dispute and added the debt to my credit reports.

Consumer Complaint: I rented an apartment from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, CA in XXXX of XXXX. I paid a {$900.00} deposit upon move in. During that time the property was sold to XXXX XXXX in XXXX. When I moved out on XX/XX/XXXX, they claimed I did not pay a deposit even through I provided them proof with a cancelled check. When I moved out, I paid a {$1200.00} termination fee. XXXX is claiming this amount is {$1800.00}. After they had me sign a new lease with them ... .they changed the {$1200.00} amount to {$1800.00}. When I moved out I had the unit professionally cleaned. XXXX claimed I did not clean it and charged me a bogus {$130.00} amount claiming they had to have it cleaned. I had already paid a cleaning service {$150.00} days earlier to clean the apartment. The rental manager ( XXXX ) ( XXXX ) XXXX told me not to repaint or fix small holes for pictures in the walls as I had only been there a short time. I was then charged {$120.00} for painting. I payed what was owed when I moved out including utilities and the termination fee on XX/XX/XXXX. I did not hear from them again until receiving a collection notice from National Credit Systems in XXXX, GA ( ( XXXX ) XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. When I call the apartment office, XXXX, the office manager referred me to XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX ) XXXX I have left ( 4 ) messages for XXXX and he has never called me back. I have left ( 3 ) messages for XXXX XXXX from National Collections and she has never called me back. The collections amount is now on my credit report, and this is now keeping me from purchasing a home. I would appreciate any help to have this bogus charge of {$920.00} removed from my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX, I provided both XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX a detailed letter explaining the discrepancies that accompanied by check for {$74.00} for utilities owed through XXXX of XXXX. I resent this letter to both parties this month, XX/XX/XXXX.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems inserted a derogatory entry on my credit report without providing a dunning letter or any correspondence on the alleged debt that would have informed me that they were attempting to collect on the alleged debt. To that end, when I retrieved a copy of my credit report I noticed this inaccuracy and immediately sent a letter to the credit bureaus followed by National Credit Systems. The credit bureaus asserted that NCS had verified the debt. In my request to NCS, I specifically requested that they provide : An agreement that states your authority to collect on this alleged debt ; Agreement with signature of the alleged debtor wherein he/she agreed to pay the creditor Alleged account number Date this alleged debt became payable Original delinquency date Verification that this debt was assigned or sold to collector Complete accounting of alleged debt Name and address of the bonding agent for collection agency in case legal action becomes necessary. NCS provided a response dated XX/XX/2020, for which I am just receiving, ( see attached ) and stated they did not have sufficient information to validate my claims. My letter was very specific. The mere fact that National Credit did not provide documentation that bore my signature, but only an arbitrary document reflecting arbitrary numbers is not sufficient. They failed to provide copies of any correspondence that should have been sent to me -- -which further justifies my position in them violating my consumer rights. This is a stall letter tactic National Credit Systems provided. My dispute was very specific. I challenged aspects of the FCRA and FDCPA. I sought validation and not verification. Additionally, the law provides that when I first disputed this entry with the credit bureaus and the bureaus made contact with them, the account was technically supposed to be updated to disputed at that time and not when I followed up to direct dispute with them. This is a very misleading practice and a violation of my consumer rights. They did not provide any documents that reflected a complete accounting of the alleged debt. National Credit Systems inserted this unverifiable, inaccurate entry on my report without providing me opportunity to dispute the validity of their alleged debt and second, they did not cease reporting of this entry with the credit bureaus after they were in receipt of my dispute. These are direct and blatant FDCPA violations. National Credit Systems must immediately delete this erroneous entry from all of my credit reports. If they indeed are alleging that I owe them, why did they not provide copies of correspondence they have sent? Why did they not provide any documentation to substantiate the alleged amount? This entry lacks veracity and thus places and proves the doubt I have on the validity of this debt. Delete this entry immediately and provide me a copy of the correspondence sent to the bureaus to direct them to remove this erroneous entry.

I and my old roommate have made multiple calls and emails to try and get the money owed paid but the emails are never returned and the calls are either voicemail or told to call back later when someone else is in the office.

Consumer Complaint: My wife and I had lease an apartment on XX/XX/XXXX, and did not renew the lease XXXX, the property manager was not taking care of the units with COVID19 as for safety and health concerns we decide not to renew the lease and the property manager got really upset with us as they where losing tenants by the day. In late XXXX we received a letter stating we owed more that {$2300.00} and I have many times disputed this with the area manger as with the property manager and either I will get the runarounds that they will fix it or they will call me later and never have they made any attempt to fix the billing. I had paid in advance one full year of rental insurance and submitted this to them many times and they have been charging us since XX/XX/XXXX every month, also they have refused to send me an Itemized statement of the billing for utilities charging our account more than what the city was charging. Theres also 2 charges on the account that I have bank statements that where paid off and where still getting charged for them. They also charged XXXX rent when we moved out at the end of XXXX as we did not renew our lease. They are asking for fraudulent charges and I have submitted this to them many times.

Consumer Complaint: This place you should stay away from it has some serious safety and building code violations that the city of XXXX should have enforced but did not. 1 ). Roof leaking in the bathroom with water falling on our faces 2 ). Fuse box trips on the 3 prong outlets and sometimes makes noise. 3 ). We endured 6 years of Luke warm or cold water. They replaced the water heater but we still had luke warm water. 4 ). They only have 1 maintenance man to fix things over 250 units. 3 ). Security is non existent We had damage to our vehicle that costed us thousands to repair. I believe the Federal and State Governments should investigate XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX for Domestic Sponsored Terrorism we found Flour acid and other chemicals in our gas tank found by XXXX filed a complaint with the Attorney General nothing was done. 4 ). We paid XXXX Security and Pet Deposit XXXX and still charged XXXX for cleaning their mold mildew. I think they should pay us for XXXX for the building and safety violations and furniture damage 5 ). The trash has vermin running all over the place mice racoons and other creatures paid double in Trash bill. 6 ). Excessive processing fees to pay rent XXXX XXXX for rent XXXX XXXX for utilities I would urge XXXX XXXX XXXX to get a Criminal Defense attorney for all the evil actions committed. 7 ). We stayed over 6 years in this XXXX hole. Please have XXXX not access my credit reports or personal information do to RICO related crimes. 8 ). Water was brown and have rocks 9 ). Appliances old and outdated and makes noise during the summer asked last year for a new refrigrator and they refused. 10. ) we replaced blinds 5 times at our expense we were still charged. 11 ).
