Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems ( debt collection company ) attempted wrongfully obtaining a double amount of my initial debt owed by posting the same charges of {$500.00} and {$1500.00} from the same company two times : 1 ) XX/XX/21 ( 1st time the {$500.00} and {$1500.00} amounts posted ) and 2 ) XX/XX/21 ( 2nd time the {$500.00} and {$1500.00} amounts posted ). As per the itemized list of charges provided by the debt collector via email ( documents that can be provided upon request ) on XX/XX/21, I owed a total amount of {$2000.00}. I then made an initial payment of {$50.00}, bringing it to {$2000.00}. However, on XX/XX/21, there was a change on my XXXX credit report, stating that there was a new posting of the {$500.00} and {$1500.00}, which had been already claimed by the same company and debt collector that I was working to pay off. This " new '' debt posting brought my cumulative debt total to {$4000.00}. This is a breach in my rights as a consumer under the FTC laws and guidelines and would like for the National Credit Systems, as well as, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, to both be investigated in this fraudulent, unlawful scheme as my rights have been breached.

Consumer Complaint: In 2017, I moved with my husband and XXXX young children to the XXXX XXXX apartment, Address : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX, we did a 12-month lease. Within 10 months of reading, the condo became infected with Mold, many of the apartments in the condo had to close due to the infection. Our apartment got mold infected as well. The condo 's maintenance department hired an agency to clean up the mold, they closed our apartment, for weeks, we had to go to our parents ' house. In the process, all of our furniture, clothing, and other items had to be thrown away due to the infection. Our children got sick from the infection. We require the condominium to close the contract, to rent elsewhere due to the high volume of infection. After 3 weeks, the condo informed us that due to the mold, we could leave without problems, because there were only 2 weeks until the expiration of the lease. and that it was not required by law to sign any document to complete a lease. We left the condominium, with many material losses, but, 2 years later, a debt for the value of {$5800.00} appeared on our credit report. We never received notification from the condo, any calls, or emails to tell us there was a problem. We contacted the condominium about this problem, they told us that all the staff had been fired and they had no information, that we should contact the management of the condominium. We contacted the central administration, and after 1 month, the general manager asked us if we had proof of the problem to solve it. We emailed him photos and videos of the mold, the apartment closed due to infection and after 2 months of waiting they cut communication and sold the debt to a collector.

Consumer Complaint: I signed a lease to an apartment, and the building was sold to a new owner ( XXXX XXXX @ XXXX ) halfway though the year. I requested to be let out of lease due to breach of contract and poor services rendered and had a signed legal agreement between myself and the new owners and our respective attorneys all together nullifying the agreement. The disgruntled manager still reported it to collections ( National Credit Systems ) and onto my credit reports at all 3 bureaus. I disputed it with National Credit Systems and provided attached documentation and with XXXX and XXXX, and they dropped it from my report, but XXXX will not. After several unsuccessful tries they won't allow me to file anymore.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: After multiple disputes and demands for validation of debt pertaining to entries placed on my consumer credit report by National Credit Systems, I finally had a small amount success as evidenced by the deletion of the entry inaccurate information from the XXXX consumer credit report, as reported XX/XX/2021. This would be the second time within 60 days that the company removed or closed the account which indicates there was a reinsertion since its initial closure on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX as evidenced by previous reports. Unfortunately, after deleting the entry from XXXX XXXX, this company updated the inaccurate information as " disputed but verified as belonging to consumer '' on the XXXX consumer credit report XX/XX/2021. KNOWINGLY AND WILLINGLY causing harm and detriment to the consumer by deliberately tainting the report used to determine a consumer 's credit worthiness and reputation in commerce. I reached out to the company to discuss the continued violation of consumers rights following the clear admission of guilt of violations ; as evidenced by the deletion from the XXXX report. During the phone conversation I was met with extreme opposition and antagonizing antics. On the XXXX day of XXXX, 2021 at approximately XXXX, I called the number provided on the consumer credit report for National Credit Systems. An operator who introduced herself as XXXX, I provided this operator with my first and last name, account number of the disputed entry provided on the consumer credit report, and the last four digits of the social security number associated with said account, in order to verify my identity. The call was transferred and continued with a representative who upon answering introduced himself as XXXX XXXX XXXX. I provided XXXX XXXX with the same verifying information I provided to the operator, and XXXX XXXX responded by stating, We ( National Credit Systems ) dont have account number that start with the number ''4 ". I informed XXXX XXXX that this is how the account appears on the consumer credit report, and I have no further verifying information that I am able to provide because I do not, nor have I ever had, or given consent to, a contract with the Defendant. XXXX XXXX confirms that he is unable to locate the account with the information provided, and when I asked him to repeat and clarify that this company has placed an entry on the credit report and is unable to locate this account using the information provided on entry ; XXXX XXXX became unruly and irritable, and accused me for ranting and becoming belligerent for asking clarifying questions that I have a right to know. He continued to repeatedly tell me I needed to calm down or hed be unable to assist me, when in fact I had not given the indication of anger or any intention of upsetting XXXX XXXX. Due to the evident escalation of XXXX XXXX temper, I asked to speak to a supervisor ; to which XXXX XXXX responded by abruptly ending the call. I then called XXXX XXXX XXXX, a second time, at approximately XXXX, I verified my identity with the operator again, and was again connected to the unruly representative, XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX elaborated on the fact that he was unable to locate the account with the information provided directly from the entry on consumer credit report, referenced to as Account # XXXX. He advises me to take a screenshot of the consumer credit report entry and email the image to XXXX, and to put Account reporting to CBR. I then asked XXXX XXXX for the name of his supervisor, to which he responded with obvious irritability and unprofessional conduct by saying, XXXX XXXXXXXX, why do you need the supervisors name, why do you think you need that information?. I responded by informing XXXX XXXX that I am requesting the supervisors name because as the consumer, I have the right to know. XXXX XXXX provided me with the name XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I thanked XXXX XXXX, who continued to behave unruly with tireless attempts to incite anger and emotional responses from the consumer throughout both conversations. Following this call, the feeling of hopelessness intensified. I wondered how I could ever get my children and I into a place we could finally call home, if I would be subject to more profane and offensive communication with representatives of corporation, like XXXX XXXX, who knowingly assist corporations, such as National Credit System ; with causing massive distress and injury to the life and mental health of the consumer. To think that many people have literally given up on life, especially during the holidays due to being overwhelmed by the financial burdens of uncontrollable and often, inaccurate debt. An unwavering commitment to accuracy and fairness as it pertains to fair debt collection and fair credit reporting ; and full disclosure to ensure informed consent are imperative for preservation of the full faith and functionality of Commerce and should never be withheld or compromised at the hands of criminals masked as fictitious entities.
