Consumer Complaint: Keybank is refusing to allow me to close my account without charging me a {$25.00} fee. This seems ridiculous to me. I should not have to pay a bank to stop being their customer! Whether I keep the account open or close the account, they will charge me some sort of fee. They are in effect forcing me to buy a service that I do not want.

Every time I attempt to call the bank or the unemployment number, nobody answers and they leave me on hold. I have not being able to receive any of my money because nobody answers me or sends me the card. According to my account the money is being deposited to the card every week, but i have not been able to use it. The money has been deposited since XXXX and i still have not receive my debit card.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/20, my bank statement indicated that there was a withdrawal of {$10000.00} from my savings account at Key Bank XXXX XXXX, NY by unknown person. This was not authorized by me or my joint account holder. Affidavit was submitted per bank 's instruction on XX/XX/20 stating that this was an unauthorized, fraudulent, and illegal withdrawal committed by unknown person. Police report was filed on XX/XX/20. To this date no funds have been returned to me and no indication of when I will receive my funds back. This is an outrageously long time for me to wait for my money to be returned. I am the victim of a crime and wish for a full investigation and resolution.

Consumer Complaint: During the nationwide shutdown of COVID-19 I inquired about a deferral payment plan that would put my principal and interest to the back of my loan. After two months of this I never received any paperwork. I have called Key Bank 27 times during this process trying to make my payments. I have been receiving paperwork in the mail stating Im behind my payments. I have had local representatives come to my house to collect. I have recorded calls that I have been trying to make payments and pay all of my insurance and taxes in full. Key bank keeps telling me that the paperwork isnt going though. Every time I call I get a different answer. I am now dealing with a XXXX XXXX. XXXX He has assured me that this will be taken care of swiftly. He has promised to call me back. None of this has happened. I have called and left messages. I have emailed several times. He will not contact me back. I can not get anywhere with them. I have been trying to make payments for 6 months now. Key bank has also put negative impacts on my credit file. I have offered to pay all taxes and insurance up to date and can not get anyone to accept my payments. I do now know what more i can do.
