Consumer Complaint: I make a couple of online purchases with my key2benefits card and then tried to go to the store and it would not work. After this i tried to call to obtain information on why i couldnt access my money anymore the automated system said my card was in an invalid status not directly telling me why it went into an invalid status. I tried to get in contact with a representative multiple times Ive stayed on hold for hours until the music would just die out and no agent would ever pick up the phone. So i have {$1300.00} stuck on my key2benefits prepaid card and no way to contact anyone about getting it off. I called the unemployment customer care number and they tried to help and also give them a call but they Said they received no answer as well and that they had no way of getting it resolved. They also wont let me update my information on there i had a number change and they might have reached out to that but i wouldnt know

Consumer Complaint: In the past two weeks I received two prepaid debit cards for unemployment benefits, and I never applied for either. One is from KeyBank for Illinois ( received XX/XX/XXXX ), the other is from XXXX for Colorado ( received XX/XX/XXXX ). I never activated either card. I contacted KeyBank immediately ; was not able to get through on phone ; did online Chat, they told me KeyBank is a third-party provider who can not do anything related to the card and I must contact Illinois Dept of Employment Security ( IDES ) ; IDES doesn't answer the phone and all their offices are closed. So I gave up on that one. The second card from XXXX arrived yesterday, I went to their website where they had a form to notify the bank if I'd received a card for which I never applied ( so apparently this is happening to a lot of people ). I completed and sent in the form. I am deeply concerned that someone is using my name, address, phone to apply for benefits, and the banks don't even have a procedure for me to cancel these cards.

Consumer Complaint: We filed bankruptcy in 2015 but never foreclosed on the home and continued making on time payments to Key bank. These payments are not being reflected on our credit report so we're not getting credit for them. We're trying to get a home equity loan with our credit union but because it doesn't show any payments being made to Key Bank they are unable to help us. I filed a dispute and the results that I got was that the whole history of the account with KeyBank has been deleted from my credit report. But that's not what I'm asking, I'm asking for the payments that we're still making to be reflected. I feel like we're making payments for nothing. Who's to say that once we eventually do pay off the house that they just keep the title and the house never is placed in our name. We can not continue to stay in a home that needs repairs without getting a loan for repairs. So we either need to be able to get a home equity loan or walk away from this house. I've tried contacting the lender and I just get the runaround every time I call. They transfer me to one person who transfers me to another who transfers me to another and eventually they say they'll call me back and they never do. This has happened on multiple occasions. I've tried writing them. All that got me was now when I log online it actually shows a balancece on my account. I feel as though we are the only ones trying to make things work here. Please advise

Consumer Complaint: Purchased an item from a company for my car. Once I got the item, I attempted to install said part and found out that the part was the wrong size. The company advertises this part to fit my car and I emailed them before hand to confirm. So either the part was mis-advertised or defected. After going back and forth with the company I bought the part from, for close to a month, trying all their trouble shooting steps ; they told me to return the part. I returned the part and they refused to refund the original charge and never returned the part to me. Therefore I no longer have the part, I attempted to fix the issue with the merchant and they still have my money, I disputed the charge with Keybank and they never issued provisional credit within 10 business days and it took close to 2 months for the dispute to be finalized. They never requested additional information from me, which I had plenty of evidence to submit. I finally got a letter saying it was denied and to contact merchant. Upon contacting the dispute department with Keybank, the first rep repeated why the dispute was denied in the letter and then when I asked why they didn't take my evidence into consideration, she didn't really give an answer. She then told me to go to small claims court and hung up. Covered under Reg Z is consumer protection regarding credit card disputes. Including disputes filed because of damaged and or items not as described. I believe Keybank is in violation of Reg Z.

Consumer Complaint: I had an account with my daughter ( XXXX XXXX ) at XXXX XXXX that was CLOSED in XXXX. KeyBank opened a XXXX XXXX XXXX with my information. We received a bill for {$30.00}. I spoke with with KeyBank 's financial fraud department on XX/XX/XXXX and disputed the transactions and was told the account was closed ( spoke with XXXX XXXX # XXXX ). I received a letter from KeyBank and called again on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with a representative ( reference number XXXX ) who told me the credit account was closed and I was not responsible for charges. I discovered when I went to purchase a vehicle that this was a " blemish '' on my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted KeyBank and was on the phone for over 2 hours being transferred from one department/individual to another, eventually speaking with XXXX ( reference # XXXX ) who indicated that I should submit a Credit Bureau and Consumer Report Dispute Form to KeyBank Links Customer Service Area and I would receive a response in 30 days. I submitted this report online and never received a confirmation. My FICO score is being impacted due to a " delinquency balance in XXXX '' and a balance is still listed ( on my XXXX Credit Report ) when I am trying to obtain a mortgage.

LOAN PURCHASED XX/XX/XXXX. WE ALWAYS PAID ON OUR MONTHLY FEES ON TIME. PAYMENTS WERE ALL MADE VIA A INTERNET PROGRAM FOR KEY BANK. PAYMENTS THAT ARE MADE TO KEY BANK WOULD TAKE OVER 2 WEEKS TO POST FOR SOME REASON. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHY. IT WAS A KEY BANK PAYMENT PROCESSING ISSUE THAT CAUSED THESE DELAYS. THIS MISREPORTED DATA HAS CAUSED US TO GET DECLINED FOR A HOME LOAN AND FOR THE LOAN WE WERE APPROVED FOR IT CAUSED US TO PAY HIGHER FEES/COSTS. WE ARE WORKING ON ASSESSING THESE DAMAGES AND ARE CONSIDERING FILING A LAWSUIT TO RECOVER ALL OF OUR COSTS DUE TO THIS NEGATIVE CREDIT REPORTING IMPACTING OUR CREDIT HEALTH AND SCORES. SO WE WENT OVER TO XXXX, AZ PAID THAT MONTH 'S PAYMENT AGAIN ( WE DOUBLE PAID THAT MONTH ) AND PICKED UP THE BOAT. WE WE WENT OVER TO THE TOWING COMPANY TO PICK UP OUR BELONGINGS IN OUR BOAT AND THAT WERE IN OUR BOAT AND WE SAW THAT ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS WERE STOLEN! SO WHEN I GOT BACK HOME WE CALLED KEY BANK AND TOLD THEM NOT ONLY DID THEY REPO OUR BOAT THAT WAS NEVER PAID LATE BUT, THAT OUR BELONGINGS WERE STOLEN. THEY TOLD US THEIR TOWING COMPANY HAD TAKEN OUR BOAT EQUIPMENT AND THAT THEY DID NOT AUTHORIZE IT AND THEY WROTE US A CHECK TO COVER OUR REPLACEMENT COSTS FOR ALL OF THE ITEMS THAT WERE TAKEN. SO RECENTLY I WROTE THEM A LETTER ASKING THEM TO REMOVE 2 LATES THAT WERE WRONGFULLY REPORTED AND TO TAKE OFF THE REPOSSESSED/REEMEMED DEROG COMMENTS. THEY TOOK OFF THE 2 LATES HOWEVER, THEY FAILED TO REMOVE THE STATUS AND COMMENT ERRORS.
