Consumer Complaint: QWR dated XXXX XXXX XXXX was sent outlining the items requested. Was mailed to the designated address via certified and return receipt was stamped XXXX XXXX XXXX was ignored. Received package yesterday XXXX for Chase letter dated XX/XX/. The company did not address all my issues, this is an incomplete response. They picked and chose what to address. Specifically the QWR dated XXXX lists the items on Item 1 ) APPRAISAL was requested - no Automated valuation, Appraisal, Notice of Value or similar was provided. 2 ) COMPLETE LOAN HISTORY including all payments, fees was requested however the Escrow Reconciliation was provided. Collection and customer service notes requested, nothing was provided. QWR indicates my concern on payment application, any late charges and the recapitalization of the arrearage due to forbearance or mod- This was not addressed either and was very important part of the QWR sent to Chase and that is reason for this new CFPB complaint. Enclosing copy of XXXX for reference and additional details.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: A hotel in XXXX owes us a refund for a double payment for a reservation. The hotel sent the refund to our account with Chase Bank XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Chase Visa denied it from depositing in our account AND has not sent the money back to the XXXX hotel. The hotel and Chase Visa both say they don't have the money. It's a back and forth game with who is actually holding it. After so many phone calls, emails, getting hung up on, put on hold for hours I really need some help getting our money back. Here 's the timeline of the original purchase. XXXX Reserved and paid for hotel reservations at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Made a XXXX night 's reservation at same said hotel. XXXX XXXX our credit card was lost > it was reported to Visa > card was cancelled and new card issued. XXXX We arrived at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and they made us pay for the same 2 nights all over again since we did not have the original credit card we made the reservations with. They assured us we would be refunded within 2 weeks for the overpayment. XXXX I'm STILL fighting for our money back. No one wants to admit they have our money. I have contacted FDIC, XXXX Headquarters, Chase Bank, and now you. I'm exhausted after spending so many hours to try and get our {$320.00} back. I have so much documentation if you would like to see it all in hopes of us getting our money. Please help.

Issue: Other features, terms, or problems
Subissue: Problem with cash advances
Consumer Complaint: Chase and XXXX are working together to charge cash advance fees whenever you connect a Chase card to your XXXX account. There is no warning and this does not happen when you use another credit card ( such as XXXX ). We had been using our XXXX and changed it to Chase, not getting any warning that we were using cash advance until the end of the month statement. The fee is {$10.00} per transaction - our transactions were {$15.00}, {$46.00}, and {$51.00}. So in the one case, this is a 66 % fee that is then subject to additional interest. Chase is saying this is standard practice, but it clearly isn't because XXXX is not practicing this. There should be a warning, a notification, and it should be illegal to charge 66 % fee on one transaction. I would never have done a cash advance if I knew it was a cash advance - I thought I was using my credit card as a credit card with a regular business.

Issue: Advertising and marketing, including promotional offers
Subissue: Didn't receive advertised or promotional terms
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I applied for Chase XXXX credit card, promising {$250.00} XXXX credit upon approval. I am attaching a screenshot of the offer. My application was approved, yet instead of {$250.00} advertised I only received {$100.00}. to make a long story short, after multiple interactions with Chase, I was basically told, they will not honor that promo, since they do not " provide manual adjustments or credits for promotional offers ''. As it stands, this is a blatant case of bait and switch.
