Consumer Complaint: I founded a start-up company in Connecticut about 5 years ago. There were only two employees including me and a board of 3 people who owed a majority of the stock. I did all the work, and the junior partner did all the banking and accounting. My partner and the board told me to be the CEO/President, and my partner was named the CFO/COO. When we opened the business account at CHASE, I was told that the savings and checking accounts come with a debit and credit card and it was 'thru the company ' and had no personal liability. My partner and I each got a credit card. Over the years, I hardly ever used it, and the few times I did were only for business items. I was told that all our bills ( rent, phone, etc. ) were only paid by bank transfer from the CHASE account. In around XXXX of XXXX, we suddenly lost our major account worth millions. We thought and were told it was going to happen. The monies would have sustained us for years and years and let us grow. With no revenue coming in, the board immediately decided not to reinvest in salaries and stopped paying me but required me to work. In XX/XX/XXXX, they wanted to buy equipment for XXXX taking 30 weeks to build. In XXXX of XXXX, the Board asked me to wait with no pay, and my shares would be diluted to teen digits when I returned. They told me not to come into the office anymore, limit emails and involvement and 'go find freelance work '. I decided it was time to start looking for other work. XXXX passed with no infusion of cash, so I had to start the process of leaving, and collecting my personal materials, and looking for work. I submitted my resignation via registered mail on XX/XX/XXXX. I returned my keys and computer on XX/XX/XXXX. I met one board member and the CFO/COO at Chase on XX/XX/XXXX to be signed off all accounts and sign on the Board member who would assume the role of CEO/President. I was told everything was done and completed and I was asked to leave. I continued to do my personal banking at CHASE, and their newly updated app started sending updated credit reports. On XX/XX/XXXX, my score was XXXX. By mid-week, I suddenly started to get what I thought were fraudulent text messages about my credit score plummetting over 218 points to a credit score of XXXX. I visited the bank multiple times and found out what was happening. The CFO/COO had been using the credit card in my name for the company and some personal expenses for years without my knowledge. The company had been accumulating thousands of dollars of interest and penalties but had paid the minimum amount on time in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Unbeknownst to me, the company stopped paying anything in midXXXX, XXXX, and the beginning of XXXX. I met the board member at CHASE on XX/XX/XXXX and he pulled out his personal checkbook and wrote a paper check out to CHASE for {$26000.00}. I was working with my banker and the branch manager and telling them EVERYTHING that was going on in regard to this situation. Once I found out what was happening, I got the board member to pay the money immediately. Over the last few days, I have been deeply hurt and dismayed to learn that CHASE refuses to expunge my credit score. They will not help me. It took me years to elevate my credit score after years of taking care of my children from an unfaithful wife and subsequent divorce.

Consumer Complaint: Chase auto finance has violated my consumer rights by failing to comply with federal laws that protect consumers. Specifically, they have violated 15 USC 1666B, which requires lenders to provide notice of changes to account terms at least 21 days before the effective date of the change. Despite this requirement, I have never received any notice from Chase auto finance within the required timeframe. I am now requesting verification that they sent out a letter within 21 days certified mail so that I would have received it on time. Additionally, Chase auto finance has violated 15 USC 1681a, which defines consumer reports and sets rules for their construction. According to this law, consumer reports do not include reports that contain information about a consumer 's transactions or experiences with a particular creditor. However, it appears that Chase auto finance has included such information in my credit report, which has had a negative impact on my ability to obtain credit. Despite my efforts to resolve this matter with Chase auto finance, they have refused to address the issue and have been in willful noncompliance with the law. As a result, their actions have injured me by hindering my ability to live in the working world through increased interest rates, and by defaming my character and making it difficult for me to acquire credit cards and other loans.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Attn : Consumer Finance Protection Bureau From : Re : Chase Credit Report / Balance Currently Due is {$3000.00} To Whom it May Concern : I am submitting this letter and asking for help to reconcile a situation that I have fallen victim to. On XX/XX/XXXX I got an email stating that my FICO score had dropped. I had no reason to expect this as all my accounts and balances were always paid on time. I followed up on the email and saw that my current FICO was currently in the mid 600 range which was extremely alarming as I am always in the high 700s. I pulled a free credit report only to find that there was a delinquent Chase account reporting a 90 day late. I do not have a Chase card so I contacted them immediately. As it turns out ; my ex-husband of ten years, was using a credit card that was opened in XXXX under both of our names. His name is, Social Security #. He has since remarried and was living in AZ. I am still living in the same home in CA, for the past 27 years. I have never moved or changed residence in all that time. All mail and communication for this account was being sent directly to him, and as I stated I was completely unaware that this card associated with me existed. Chase made it sound like I should have been aware of it because my name was on the statements. Well because nothing was being sent to me, the one person that should have been aware of it was and his wife as it was their home and email that all the communication/statements were being sent to. Over the years it appears he added three authorized users, ( our sons ) and his wife. The boys have told me that they were given an account number to pay for college tuition when due, but both boys have long since graduated and no longer have any affiliation with this card, so the only ones using this card would have been or. I WAS ABSOLUTELY UNAWARE that my name was still associated with a credit card that my ExHusband was using. In XX/XX/XXXX my ExHusband was found XXXX in a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. His wife,, was given possession of his wallet, computer, and keys. A few days later she tracked down my oldest son and told him his dad has passed away. In the mean time she was busy selling cars and cleaning out bank accounts. The kids had no idea where his money was, who he owed money to or who owed him money and she would not share any information. They were only told that a Will did not exist so everything was hers. This was not surprising as she was XXXX years younger than and in it for the money. The kids have now pretty much accepted that they have been screwed, but I never expected to be a party to this disaster. After contacting Chase and being transferred from one department to the other, over two days & 3+ hours of conversation, and always hearing how sorry they are, I was finally told that was the Primary on the card and once he died, I became Primary and this is now my responsibility. Well for three months while these payments went unpaid - I was never contacted, but suddenly my name was simply added as the new Primary Card Holder and the delinquent payments were reported against me. This leaves me incredibly angry because I contacted Chase to investigate as soon as I discovered this on my credit report. I had no idea what the account number was when they asked me for it, or even what name was on the account. Using my SS # as a search, I was told this was a card was apparently using that was opened jointly in XXXX ( OMG, what the XXXX ). I even asked for the Card Number and was told they could not give it to me for Privacy reasons yeah, go figure. I agreed to pay off the balance ( only to protect my personal credit ) and they were glad to accept my offer ; however, when I stipulated that I wanted my personal credit restored suddenly they are unable to do that. I know they had my information, because when I agreed to pay the balance they asked to confirm my information so they could update the account. We started with the address at which point the woman helping me had her computer freeze. She stated that she was not sure if the information would go through. As it turns out, a short time later I receive an email ( mind you I did not give them my email address ) confirming a change of address. So very interesting!! I am not hiding, I have lived in the same home for 27 years, I have had the same land line number for 27 years, I have had the same email address for as long as email addresses have been a thing, I have plenty of credit, I make a mortgage payment every month, I make credit card payments every month everything always paid on time. I know these companies have resources and they could easily have located me either by phone, email or mail. Why are they telling me they can not restore my delinquent credit as reported by them when I was NOT given a fair chance to cure this either before it became a situation or even now after the fact? Today I am contacting you to present my story and ask if there is anything you can do to help me resolve this problem. I am still willing to pay the balance due, but only if my credit is restored. That feels like a reasonable request. If as Chase has told me, they are unable to change a reported account ( I call that total XXXX ) then I guess I have nothing to lose and I will have to accept the fact that after 67 years in which I have always respected my credit, that the system has failed me and with that said, I have no reason to give Chase any money to pay off a debt that I did not personally incur. If we can come to an agreement where by all three credit bureaus are corrected and my credit has been restored, I will pay this balance and as a gesture of Good Will, hopefully all late fees can be removed and I am only paying for Goods and Services as charged. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions as I would very much like to resolve this situation. Best Regards,

Consumer Complaint: I engaged with XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ) in of XXXX to perform marketing for my company XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). XXXX XXXX XXXX agreed to send emails on our behalf to all of their clients who went in for XXXX certification. In late XXXX we learned that the service that XXXX XXXX XXXX was providing was not generating any responses at all, which made us suspicious that anything was actually taking place and if the emails we had paid for were actually being sent out. XXXX XXXX XXXX would not share who the emails were sent out to despite charging us thousands of dollars for the service, and just sent a screenshot that said " Emails sent ''. We complained to our bank CHASE and they stated that since the contract we signed said " No Refunds given '' that we had no recourse. I feel that this is fraud because XXXX XXXX XXXX did not provide the service we paid for.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a Chase Ink credit card. The application was initially denied, but on XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke XXXX in card lending services who told me the card was approved with a {$5000.00} credit line. I waited several weeks and did not receive the card. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called and spoke with a series of individuals including XXXX ( on XX/XX/XXXX ), XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Finally, I spoke with XXXX who said the card was approved ( Ref # XXXX ). However, no one informed me that an additional credit report would be pulled. I would have though the previous credit report pulled on XX/XX/XXXX would have sufficed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with XXXX in Chase 's credit bureau reporting department who told me a new credit report had to be run because the card had not been approved when I called for reconsideration in XXXX. The first credit report wasn't even 60 days old. First, it's excessive for Chase to run so many credit reports... I opened a business checking account in a branch AND applied for the Ink credit card on the same day with the same banker. Why were two separate credit reports required? Second, the credit report that was pull on XX/XX/XXXX was not authorized and Chase should have been able to make a credit decision based on four-week old credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am writing to inform you of interest and fee scams as it applies to payments to Chase Bank 's purchases on an account where they has also be a promotional balance transfer. I transferred {$5000.00} to my credit card for a flat fee of {$250.00} and then a 0 % APR for 12 months. Chase Bank has decided to apply my payments 1st to my balance transfer amount and then to my purchases so that in 2 months I have paid off almost half of my balance transfer and therefor owe interest on my purchases. They will not allow me to apply my payments to my purchases 1st and then my balance transfer which means I will always owe interest. This is what big banks do to scam the average American! At least with my XXXX account they will apply my payments as I see fit. Please stop the big banks from scamming average Americans! Thank you for your time.
