Chase is holding over {$29000.00} in my accounts and will not release them for 10 days after my account is closed. I told Chase that I urgently needed my funds because I have bills to pay such as energy, lights, and credit card. Chase will not release even a partial payout to me to pay my bills. Consumer Complaint: Im filing this complaint against Chase Bank. On XXXX, I used my debit card at XXXX XXXX The amount for their services was {$6.00}. However upon using my debit card the laundromat debited {$20.00} on XXXX. I inquired about the {$20.00} from the laundromat assistant, and was told that the {$14.00} would drop off at XXXX XXXX on Tuesday, XXXX and I would only be charged the {$6.00}. I phoned Chase on XXXX, and was told that the {$20.00} was in a pending status and if I wanted to dispute it I could with the claim department. I explained to the representative what the assistant told me. I also saw that the {$20.00} was in a pending status when I looked online via my XXXXXXXX XXXX. Even though I was told that the {$14.00} would be credited back to my account on XXXX ; that never happened. On today, XXXX, I checked my account and saw that the charge of {$6.00} to XXXX XXXX had posted to my account. However, I was not given credit back to my checking account for the {$14.00}. Upon speaking with a manager by the name of XXXX at XXXX, he informed me that he never saw a pending transaction for {$20.00} that pending on XXXX from the laundromat. I also inquired if they showed where I called Chase on XXXX to inquire on the pending transaction. I was told that they have No Records of pending transactions. How can this be so when Chase debited the {$20.00} on XXXX?

Consumer Complaint: All the attorney foreclosure fees need to be removed since there was already an agreement with me and the bank about the past due amount and I was just waiting for the paper work from the bank The agreement was done in XX/XX/XXXX and to my surprise on XX/XX/XXXX I received the paperwork from the attorney at that time I contacted chase and chase told me no to worry that there was already an agreement so disregard that, I even went further and contacted the attorney to let him know there was already an agreement ( see attached ) I emailed him. That same day. Never received a response from the attorney and I trusted chase to disregard and also I was told no attorney fees will be incurred cause they will notified the attorney right away. That would be between the attorney and chase but they charged me for their mistake in communication and possibly chase didnt informe the attorney on time.

The phone number on my credit report I had never seen before in my life starting with a Kentucky area code ( 859 ). About half a year before this happened my ex had to move back to Kentucky because she had no where to stay and needed to see her mom because her mom was very ill. Its also the same address that appears on my credit report, which again I never lived ever at that residence, which is also in Kentucky XXXX I believe it was my ex because I started getting calls around XXXX about her whereabouts which is also the same time my XXXX XXXX started going down. The purchase amount was XXXX and the financial recovery number has to of called me 8 times since then. I never opened a chase credit card nor spent over a grand on a credit card.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a Chase credit card XX/XX/2023 which I thought I was prequalified for at the time of opening a new bank account with Chase. The reason why I thought I was prequalified was because it was given to me as a special offer directly through my bank account app .The credit card application was denied. I received their denial letter, so I call for reconsideration on XX/XX/2023. The lady I spoke to who took the book to from reconsideration department, who took the final decision, told me that she could not qualify me because of past history in there chase files said they were said {$20000.00} credit card was charged up in the pass and resolve through identity theft and she clearly stated that that was the reason why she could not approve me. I also have bankruptcy, but she said she can not overlook the bankruptcy due to the bad history on that credit card even though it was already resolved, and the conversation finished there.on XX/XX/2023 I called them so I can retrieve their file that states the {$20000.00} credit card XXXX the manager I spoke to said that that car was only charge for {$16000.00} and that no she can not give me those files and she gave me a phone number which ended up nowhere

Consumer Complaint: Several months in a row, my payments were applied to a promotional 0 % APR balance instead of the higher 27.74 % interest balances. It is understood that my minimum payment will go to these promotional balances first, but the remainder of payments should be applied to higher interest rate balances next. CFPB should be made aware of these practices and inaccuracies with customer 's balances. Each call to correct this takes approximately 30 minutes of mine and several customer service representatives time, and it is not appropriate to apply payments in this manner to allow higher interest to accrue. Spoke with Supervisor XXXX in XXXX XXXX location on XX/XX/26 who assured me that although the current " Interest Savings '' balance online was {$1600.00} lower than the balance on my XXXX bill, that the correct balance would show on my NEXT statement at month end. Even if this was true, it does not provide me with an accurate accounting if I wanted to make additional payments on my card and avoid paying more on my negotiated " Interest Savings '' rate. Plus it will require ANOTHER call after month 's end.
