Consumer Complaint: XXXX of XXXX I opened an account online with chase so I had a place to do direct deposit. They received my check ( amount of {$1500.00} that was issued on XX/XX/XXXX check number XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and then put it on hold. Well when the hold was released then they closed my account as soon as I tried to withdraw some money from it. Ive called multiple times asking for explanation and to get my money back. They keep saying they cant verify travelers insurance the one that issues my money checks. Ive talked to XXXX XXXX about it and they said the check has been cleared and have given me numbers for chase to call and verify. But chase is denying and saying no number can be verified through their system which does not make any since because for one the numbers all go to the XXXX XXXX which is the correct place ( I verified for myself ) so how can they not verify it and another thing they already received the funds because the check was cleared, so obviously the check was good because they have the money already. But yet they will not release my account and give me my money back. Its been almost a year since theyve stolen my money and yes thats what they have done stold from me. I get a monthly check through XXXX XXXX because I fell and broke my hip back in XXXX of XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX, had to have a XXXX XXXX done. So I get {$1500.00} a month until I received the entire amount that they owe me. I never had issues cashing this check from them so I dont understand why Chase is not able to verify them. Its a world wide known insurance company, it shouldnt be so hard. I have tried every approach to get my money back but they keep saying the same thing and wont help me to get the money they owe me back.? It will be a yr in XXXX and Im not getting any interested from them keeping my money either. Its unfair and they have no right to keep my money from m. How can I fix this?
