Consumer Complaint: Someone decided that I should be paperless. This was the start of this issue. I did not receive a bill as I pay my bills upon receipt. Have a XXXX credit score. Company sent me E mail that bill was late and fined me {$40.00} late fee for a {$80.00} bill. I ask them to waive late fee? I paid the account in full as soon as I was aware of this bill on XX/XX/23 Check # XXXX {$210.00}. As of today a check with my bank reveals payment has not been accredited to my account and now they threaten too contact crrdit bureau.I have neve eve been late on any bill..As soon as this credit card has a XXXX balance I will close this account based on their poor handling of my account. When I retired XX/XX/23 the Governor of Virginia wrote me a letter of congratulations. I always pay my bills own 4 houses ( beach house ) mortgage free and do not appreciate being treated this way. Please take action as I am sure others are getting same treatment. Our mail service is terrible get mail XXXX XXXX, other peoples mail no mail etc. ans holidays may have contributed to this payment???? They should look at all factors payment history etc before threats are made.

I made a transaction on XXXX and after multiple follow-ups they say I am not eligible to receive the cashback. I added the offer to my card on XXXX. I made the transaction of amount {$290.00} on XXXX at samsung XXXX The invoice is also dated XXXX ( attached with the complaint ), however because of unknown reason XXXX XXXX the charge on XXXX. The supervisor on chase customer care says I am not eligible and there is nothing he can do. I told him it's not logical because I authorized the purchase within the correct timeframe. I have an invoice of the correct timeframe, so why am I not eligible? He didn't respond to this and said is there anything else he can help with.

I had sign up in XX/XX/2023, after sign up i received study materials only, without in class course and submit application to XXXX. Missing this XXXX, since XX/XX/2023 i been calling, every day, leave voice mail, text, email to them, For my XXXX XXXX service which is in classes course, and submit application to XXXX but they never respond at all .i got disappointment and stressed been many days, XX/XX/2023 is my last calling to them. But they still never respond. so I had end up to dispute my payment on XX/XX/2023. After next day of the dispute XXXX they are starting contact me by email. but its too late i had already sign up with another school. Cause they never respond in 13 days. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/ Me and my father walked into our local Chase Bank, my father, being elderly, had a hard time opening a bank account under his name due to not having a properly updated driver 's licenshow. My father, who just recently came into a settlement check after a lawsuit My father endorsed the check to that I made deposited into my checking account. My father provided all necessary documentation. Proving who he says he is, he brought his social security and his Birth Certificate to the local Chase branch. The check was for $ XXXX The check was deposited. No problem for them to now turn around and say that they need a verified number after my father. Already provided necessary information as required by the user deposit agreement on chases website. And now Chase refuses to help me. With this issue. I've already made a complaint to the o CC and I'm still waiting to hear back from them. This is my father 's money. He's elderly. He doesn't have a job. He will needs this money. And I just don't know what to do.

I had a missed payment on all three due to financial hardship and Chase reported these cards to my personal credit. These should not be on my personal credit score but rather my business rating. This is substantially affecting my personal credit now.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX XXXX Subject : Demand for Correction of Credit Report Inaccuracies per CFRA as a federally protected consumer. I am writing to bring to your attention the inaccuracies present in my credit report, which I believe violate my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable regulations, including 15 U.S. Code 1602, 6802, 6804, 6805, 16 CFR 313, 433.2, and the Privacy Act of 1974. The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) emphasizes the importance of consumer reporting agencies handling consumer information with fairness, impartiality, and respect for privacy. As a consumer, I have the right to protect my private information from being shared, as outlined in 15 USC 6801. This section states that " It is the policy of the congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers nonpublic personal information. '' Notably, the " furnisher of information to credit agencies, '' qualifies as a financial institution under this statute. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) states that A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681a, ( 2 ) Exclusions : ( A ) ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; Reporting Transaction history is illegal. Per 15 USC 1681b Permissible purposes of consumer reports -In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I never gave written instructions authorizing the creditor to send my personal information to any credit bureau. The Creditor did not get my consent to add anything to my consumer report, which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. -P.L . 90-321 ( 82 Stat. 146 ), states that any agency can only get my consumer report in response to a request by the head of a State or local child support enforcement agency ( or a State or local government official authorized by the head of such an agency ). 15 USC 1681 section 604 section 2 states ; In general, Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Furthermore, 15 USC Section 1681b ( permissible purpose ) restricts the circumstances under which consumer reporting agencies like XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX can furnish consumer reports. This section explicitly states : " In general, subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. '' the furnisher of information, does not possess written consent from me to access my personal information. Therefore, as a federally protected consumer I am now opting out of any-and-all authorization I, the consumer may have given you- written, unwritten, verbal or nonverbal per 15 USC 1802 with instructions of the following to be removed from these accounts ONLY : JPMCB ACCOUNT XXXX XXXX ACCOUNT XXXX payment status - late payment - reported - remarks - condition - original balance - last payment - status - creditor information - condition - status loan term. I hereby demand the immediate removal of unauthorized transactional information in accordance with the FCRA, on each of my consumer files with the three credit reporting bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ). The CFPB definition of Identity theft means a fraud committed or attempted using the identifying information of another person without authority. Information added to your report without your written consent could be considered Identity theft. I expect a prompt and thorough investigation into this matter, and I anticipate that the necessary corrections will be made without delay. Consumer Complaint: ~5 months ago was started being denied the use of my earned points on vender sites. When I tried logging in to the Chase CC site to check the status of my account and points to see what the issue might be, I kept getting errors. So I called their help line and after sometime on the phone with frontline support my issue was " escalated '' to get the problem resolved. I was told I would be called within 5 business days. 3 months later I called and asked what was going on. I was told by frontline support that there was no ticket open. So a new ticket was created and I was told I would be called back in 5 business days. Sometime after 5 business days I called them again and was told nothing had been done on the issue but they would escalate the ticket. I was transferred to someone who was escalation who was supposed to solve my issue. He said he would escalate it to someone else and I would be called back. After a few days I talked to this same " escalation '' guy and he said there hasn't been a solution yet but he would escalated it and someone would call me within 3 business days. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and he said he was a supervisor and refused to hand me to anyone else or transfer me to the new " escalation '' team. It's now 2 weeks later and there is still no call back from them and I'm still unable to use my points or login to check the status of my account. I believe they are simply giving me the runaround and nobody is actually working on my 5 month old problem. This essentially denies me access to the points that they agree that I've earned and have a right to use.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX i received a refund check from my college in the mail, and i went to deposit it to my bank ( chase ) on XX/XX/XXXX. they told me the funds would be released on XX/XX/XXXX. then my account was held because they couldnt verify the phone numbers that was on the check & the customer service number due to it not showing in their system. i reached out to the bank that sent me the check and they said those are the only XXXX numbers that can be used to verify the check, weeks go by and still chase couldnt verify the check. They closed my account and said that since they couldnt verify the check, that the funds would be held in the treasury for XXXX years and it would be sent back to the maker.
