Consumer Complaint: According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 15 USC 1681 section 602 ( a ), it is essential to ensure that consumer reporting agencies carry out their significant responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumer 's privacy rights. As a consumer, I have the right to safeguard my private information, as supported by 15 USC 6801, which emphasizes the Congress 's policy that financial institutions must actively protect customer privacy and the confidentiality of nonpublic personal information. A " furnisher of information to credit agencies, '' classified as a financial institution, falls under this title. 15 USC 1681 section 604 ( a ) ( 2 ) stipulates that a consumer reporting agency may only provide a consumer report in accordance with the written instructions of the respective consumer. I want to make it clear that both the financial institution ( Furnisher of information to credit agencies ) and the consumer reporting agencies, XXXX and XXXX, lack my consent to furnish this information, and they certainly do not possess my written consent. Any form of consent, whether verbal, non-verbal, written, implied, or otherwise, granted to XXXX, XXXX, or the Furnisher of information to credit agencies is hereby revoked. Referring to 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ), a financial institution can not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party without explaining how the consumer can exercise the nondisclosure option. The Furnisher of information to credit agencies failed to inform me of my right to exercise this option. Furthermore, 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) explicitly prohibits a consumer reporting agency from including adverse information in a consumer report without authorization. This account, reported as an adverse item, is being presented without my permission, violating the law. According to 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), a person must not furnish information to a consumer reporting agency if they know or have reasonable cause to believe the information is inaccurate. 15 U.S. Code 1681e mandates every consumer reporting agency to maintain reasonable procedures to prevent violations and restrict the furnishing of consumer reports to specific purposes. XXXX and XXXX are failing to uphold reasonable procedures. Additionally, 12 CFR 1016.7 affirms that a consumer has the right to opt out at any time. I am choosing to opt out of your reporting services.

Consumer Complaint: REOPEN THE ACCOUNT ENDING IN XXXX. XXXX XXXX form dated XX/XX/23 which is located in their SEC filing states XXXX Card Services business may securitize originated credit card loans, primarily through the XXXX XXXX XXXX ( the Trust ). The Firms continuing involvement in credit card securitizations includes servicing the receivables, retaining an undivided sellers interest in the receivables, retaining certain senior and subordinated securities and maintaining escrow accounts. Chase Bank has securitized my originated credit card loan and refuses to reopen the account that is current and still being monetized by securitizing the asset back security/receivable. I rescind/revoke any security interest Chase Bank has in the account and XXXX, XXXX assumes all titles, rights, and interest in the account for XXXX XXXX. If the account is not reopened within XXXX business days I will perform an audit on the account to locate the XXXX number to confirm the securitization trail of the account. I will also escalate this matter to the SEC for securities fraud since I provided a security to Chase Bank that is still being traded on the secondary market and I the consumer have not received equal consideration or value for providing the security. I AM AN INVESTOR since I provided Chase with a RECEIVALBE/SECUIRTY. In the card-member agreement I was never informed my credit card loan would be receivable/security for XXXX and be securitized and sold on the secondary market. The omission of this information is blatant contract and securities fraud. Once again, I will be forced to submit a complaint to the SEC FOR SECURITIES FRAUD if the account is not REOPENED WITHIN XXXX BUSINESS DAYS. Thank you for all your help to resolve this matter. If there any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at XXXX or XXXX.

Subissue: Cashing a check
Consumer Complaint: On Sunday XXXX XXXX I mobile deposited a mobile check to my checking account through chase for {$1900.00} that was dated for XX/XX/2024. I called Monday morning to see why there was a hold on my account and they said the funds should be available Tuesday morning. I called Tuesday morning because when I checked my account it said there was a hold on my account. I called them again and the lady said she would need to see if she can find a verified number through their system so she can contact my employer to verify the check. She said she was unable to find a verified number and that my funds would be available until XX/XX/2024. Later that day I tried to deposit cash into my account and found out my account was restricted because of the check hold. I called Chase bank back and they asked if I could provide them with a number they can call. I give them the owners number and then they say the number isnt verified. They said until they receive a verified number my check will be held and my account will remain restricted. I have bills to pay and my funds are being held from me and my employer is unsure which number my bank is needing.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Problem with fees
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a formal complaint against Chase Bank regarding the excessive Non-Sufficient Funds ( NSF ) fees charged to my checking account. Despite my previous attempts to address this issue directly with Chase, I have received no response. Over the past months, I have incurred over {$5000.00} in transaction fees, adversely impacting my financial stability. I believe these fees are unjust and request the CFPBs intervention to urge Chase to adjust and refund the amount charged to my account. I have attempted to resolve this matter with Chase through various channels, but the lack of response has left me with no alternative but to seek assistance from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter, as it has caused significant financial distress. Any assistance in facilitating a resolution with Chase and ensuring the refund of the excessive fees would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
