Issue: Opening an account
Subissue: Confusing or missing disclosures
Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 I realize my bank account has been deducted from a charge of an online merchant claiming to be affiliated to Chase PDF-Fling papers which I have no knowledge of? So I called this online source and they reversed all monies of {$76.00}. Chase claims I called them weeks prior of XX/XX/2023 stating I placed a claim with them about this merchant? Stating it was a temporarily credit of money we give you so we took it back from your account? Which is boldly completely incorrect. XX/XX/2023 an online course I took for {$550.00} payment of {$150.00} every two weeks I was to pay merchants. Course was not completed due to online issues with the learning tool. I was asked to prove my case by Chase of my incompleteness of course to get my money back which I did by faxing over a hard copy of the incomplete course document. I proved my case and won over merchant Chase took the money back from my account. XX/XX/2023 claimed the merchant won the case and reverted the merchant of {$150.00} out of my account? and the remaining balance as well? When I called them on these issues they refused to help or return my money.

Consumer Complaint: Chase credit card automatically allows credit card spending to go over the credit limit. I did not sign up for this feature or did I have the ability to utilize the website or all to remove this option. Once I went over the credit limit my account was frozen because I was forced to pay off the debt to unfreeze the account. Essentially this is a marketing deception of zero APR credit cards to allow a credit limit but not allow credit limit protections so when the amount is breached that the credit card declines any purchases that go over the credit limit. Thus when I breached the credit limit that the payment was allowed but it shouldnt have allowed this thus my account was frozen and I was forced to pay debt to unfreeze the account as a conflict of zero APR period credit cards being a fraudulent marketing deception when credit limit protections do not exist on the initial purchases but deceived those that believe that the credit limit is a true limit and that another over the limit should be declined thus a marketing scam when I am forced to pay on zero APR to unfreeze the account when I could have an unfrozen account without needing to pay down any debt immediately as a credit card scam. I was told you can only call in to remove this option and that I could not do so while the account was frozen as they could not unfreeze until the debt was covered above the limit. This essentially creates a cover charge as a hidden fee to zero APR credit cards and should be illegal as a concern for hidden fees and obligation to pay debt down immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I am filing a complaint to you about the negligence that I was subjected to by the Bank " Chase '', which caused me XXXX and XXXX damage to me and my family due to a lack of sense of security for ourselves, especially as we are a XXXX XXXX family of XXXX XXXX and we are not sufficiently aware of our rights in this country, but we are sure of the rule of law and respect for our constitutional rights and we are sure that the law will give us consideration and we demand the bank compensation. As I received a phone call with a number XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX from a lady named XXXX and she stated that she works at Chase Bank and asked me if I had gone to the bank 's located at the following address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and Asked me if I withdrew money from my account by submitting a bank check bearing my name for XXXX dollars and my answer was no, since on the same day I was present at the bank 's pumpkin located in XXXX XXXX with a bank employee named XXXX.To open an account for my wife, so XXXX XXXX told me that someone has the same identification card with my name and with a check in my name and presented it to the bank employee and received an amount of XXXX dollars from my account and she told me to go the next morning at the same branch where the problem occurred and submitted a the police report someone had a fake ID card with my name, and he withdrew a sum of money from my account, and I changed my bank account number after that on the morning of XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX, I made a deposit in My account is in the amount of XXXX dollars and I was surprised on XXXX morning that the amount of XXXX dollars was debited by the bank. When I called the bank 's customer service by phone to complain about what happened, the response was that your account would be permanently closed and this amount of XXXX dollars frozen until the matter is investigated, and until today, XX/XX/XXXX, the amount stolen from my account has not been refunded, causing me to delay paying the rent of the house that my family and I live in .I was surprised to find a mail from the bank demanding me to pay XXXX checks, XXXX for XXXX dollars and the other for XXXX dollars, as they are checks that do not have a balance, and the signature of them was not my bank signature so that not my mistake so that I attached with the complaint are copies of the police report and checks, and the matter is now referred to you to help me in the damage that happened to me and my family It is clear that anyone who goes to the bank with a fake identity card and takes money goes in peace and security and the one who is blamed and closes his account is the bank customer.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: I'm hoping you'll be able to help me. I have reached out to Chase, for it seems over a year back and forth and they still need to resolve the issues. I believe they have violated the allowable time to handle and fix these issues and violated many rules and regulations about these accounts. I have asked numerous times for them to get these fully handled and they either pass me off to someone else after advising one person will handle the case or stop replying altogether. I'm on permanent XXXX, causing a great upset and it has been ongoing. I can not speak on the phone and advise them of this, yet they are still making calls repeatedly to multiple numbers. I believe this was to stop months and months ago when I NOTIFED THEM OF THE ERRORS. THESE TWO ACCOUNTS SHOULD BE WIPED CLEAN AND CLOSED AND NOT BE ASSOCIATED WITH US, BUT THEY ARE STILL. I HAVE HAD THE ONE VALID ACCOUNT CONTINUALLY PLAGUED WITH FRAUD EACH TIME THEY SENT A NEW CARD, AND I NOTIFIED THEM RIGHT AWAY. I continue receiving calls after filing a complaint over a year ago. You have continually allowed multiple accounts to open and be used. We continue to let you know that this needs to be corrected. We have letters and correspondence confirming that you resolved this just to add the fraud charges to my account. These accounts with the balances you have reflected currently need to be corrected. These balances do not belong to us, and these charges were all fraudulent over and over from transfers to opening and re-occurring fraudulent charges. 1 ) I ( XXXX XXXX ) sent the below email a week ago thinking my account was handled as at that time it was. I then got a message the case was closed, but I was responsible for a balance transfer, and they added that back to my account. This is not our balance transfer ; again, fraud was on this account left and right, and you keep closing it, opening it, and allowing fraud. None of the charges including balance transfer are my responsibility. This was already over, and you cleared it, but now you have added it back. I have your letter stating this is not my responsibility and would be corrected with all the credit bureaus, but that still needs to be done. The balance transfer needs to be removed this is not mine and does not belong to me. You had it removed and now added it back. I have sent the hospital stay and permanent XXXX documents under the care, and I was incapacitated then. I had no way for this to occur and this was not ours. You issued the proper credits but recently added the balance transfer, which needs to be removed. Account ending in XXXX, now updated to ending in XXXX. 2 ) I ( XXXX XXXX ) Have sent several emails and contacts through the Consumer Protection Bureau, but I think you still need to correct the account. I got a letter from you stating I'm not responsible for the account and balance and that you would be issuing the update to the credit bureaus. You still are calling me, harassing me, and have not corrected the account, closed the account and issued the credits due to me. We have sent the hospital and XXXX paperwork for this account. These were opened somehow from the above account being opened, and we kept paying, thinking it was the above account we originally opened. Account ending in XXXX. 3 ) We have followed all the rules for assistance with the account and getting this corrected. Several areas have not been following through on your end and violated many XXXX act protections. Is this once and for all corrected and cleared in FULL for both of us? Additionally, I received a text message days ago there was fraud on my account again, and a new card is being sent. We are very leery about having any of these accounts open with all the fraud that has and continues to occur. I will leave the one new one for now, but hold off from any transactions until we hear this is fully cleared. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX From : XXXX XXXX XXXX Sent : Friday, XX/XX/2023 XXXXXXXX XXXX To : XXXX XXXX ; XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX ; XXXX XXXX Subject : Re : Fraud Violations Account Ending in XXXX XXXX NOW XXXX

Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: I overpaid a statement by XXXX cents. That overpayment was reflected as a credit on subsequent bills. My statement closing XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, showed a " debit adjustment '' " purchase '' of XXXX cents on XXXX XXXX. That took my XXXX cents and XXXX out my account. I called Chase Bank XXXX for an explanation and was told the issue would have to be escalated and reviewed. I would get a letter of explanation in XXXX business days. We're beyond that, now. I want to know what happened to my XXXX cents. Did Chase take it for their convenience? Is that common? Is that legal? How do I get my XXXXXXXX XXXX restored? What's so difficult about letting my XXXXXXXX XXXX just " be ''? Why do we have to go through this?
