Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I called Chase to pay off my credit card balance. I spoke with customer service and told amount and made a payment for that amount. I received a bill the following month for interest charge. I wrote to the company on XX/XX/2023 and disputed the charge. Chase responded and refused to remove the interest charge. I have responded back to Chase in writing stating that I still disputed the charge. In short I contacted Chase, received a payoff amount, made a payment in that amount on XX/XX/2023 and I consider the account paid in full. I have attached the letters sent to Chase.

Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/, I received my business checking account statement from Chase Bank. The statement indicated that four online purchases had been made from XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXXXXXX XXXX using my business debit card. I have never made any purchases from XXXX using the card, did not make the four charges in question, did not authorize anyone to make the purchases, did not derive any benefit from the purchases, and always had the card in my personal possession. I immediately notified my bank of these unauthorized chargers and was issued four credits on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX, two of the charges which had been removed from my account were reversed back. Despite my numerous disputes and requests for verification, Chase refused to provide information for the charges and continued to claim that XXXX had verified that the charges were authorized and valid, and that the products had been delivered. XXXX refused to discuss the matters with me, directing me back to my bank. Finally, on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX I received the transaction invoices from Chase for the two disputed charges, which showed that Chase had authorized the charges to my account and was continuing to claim the charges were valid, despite the invoices showing the following : The charge on XX/XX/, for {$38.00}, was made by XXXX XXXX, billing address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, IL, email XXXX and shipped to XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, SC. The charge on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX for {$110.00}, was made by XXXX XXXX / XXXX XXXX, billing and shipping address XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, MA, email XXXX. I have never heard of any of these people. The billing address for all my business and personal accounts, and my sole business and residential addresses at the time, and for the previous 4 decades, were in XXXX and XXXX, Texas.

Consumer Complaint: Tried to log onto my Chase card account to pay my bill. Presented with 2 new documents to which I must agree or I will not be able to use on-line banking. One of them is a 10-Page agreement. The other is a 125-page agreement. 125 pages! Buried in there is an arbitration clause that I managed to get myself out of -- but I could not do that until i already agreed with the 2 documents, because there was no way to get into my account to do so. Who knows what else is in that 125-page agreement -- who has time to read it, then run down every possible action to undo ( if possible ) certain clauses? And there is simply no practical way to manage this account without online access -- and Chase knows that. Chase is taking advantage of its customers. If I could get rid of this card, I would. But I have all my points and status with XXXX XXXX, and they use Chase as their partner. So I'm stuck.

Consumer Complaint: Im formally filing a complaint against CHASE BANK for FINANCIAL CRIMINAL THEFT!. This institution allowed scammers to access my business account in my name and my business name. The scammers in XXXX had my original check of {$89000.00} cancelled then had a new check issued in the same amount mailed to a fraudulent address and deposited into a XXXX account and withdrew {$43000.00} from a check that belonged to me in the amount of XXXX XXXX, risk closure dept, suspected fraud and closed the said account 3 days after the scammers got $ XXXX out. On XX/XX/2023 my parent bank JP CHASE, requested the stolen funds be returned back to them. Instead, XXXX sends the remaining $ XXXX to THE SCAMMERS ADDRESS IN A CASHIER CHECK ON XX/XX/XXXX, that they also cashed, grossly ignoring Chase request of a return. I filed a ID FRAUD claim on XX/XX/2023 that XXXX approved on XX/XX/2023 that I did not open that account and Im not responsible for the deposit or withdrawals from the account. Then in XXXX XXXX, denied JP MORGAN chase claim to return the funds, stating CHASE failed to properly identify the scammers whom they mailed the check to. As if XXXX, themselves didnt properly identify the scammers when they allowed the account to be opened in XXXX and sent them $ XXXX after they closed the account and ignored Chase request to return the funds. Theyre admitting it was my stolen money but its not THEYRE FAULT THEY GAVE IT TO THE SCAMMERS.. Mam/Sir, THIS IS THEFT.. They ASSISTED THE SCAMMERS, both directly and indirectly..Its inexcusable that the appointed analysts assigned to this claim has the audacity to defend XXXX handling of my stolen money. XXXX, admits to me that Im a victim of identity theft based upon their research and policies BUT, dont believe theyre responsible is pure hideous and outright theft. Chase has sent over 3 separate requests for reconsiderations that the analysis refuses to respond too. My analysis needs to be properly retrained, charged with a crime and or reprimanded appropriately. XXXX supervisor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/2023 during a recorded call admitted to me that his company XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX IN FACT RESPONSIBLE, please review that call. Its just outrageous that Im fighting to get my money back for nine months while XXXX, gave it away to scammers TWICE! I notified CHASE BANK a week in advance that my banking information had been compromised and requested extra security measures be take to prevent the scammers to access my account. Still CHASE ALLOWED scammers to access my account. The check in question was still in the XXXX possession when I discovered what they had did. So I called the bank and they said a stop payment was put on the check, which was a lie because the scammers still cashed it. CHASE IS NOW REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY ALSO NOW THAT XXXX XXXX IS REFUSING. XXXX XXXX XXXX has assigned an executive Named XXXX to there investigation and shed like to speak with an executive at CHASE BANK, her contact is ; XXXX Both of these institutions are and have admitted my money was in fact stolen but neither are willing to refund my money. This is indeed a crime that warrants an investigation by any and all concerned oversight personnel. Mam/Sir My Desired settlement : An immediate full refund of my money ( {$89000.00} ) and the necessary discipline for the aforementioned employees. PLEASE WILL YOU HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK IM LITERALLY BEGGING YOU.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I was called by a man impersonating Chases fraud department. He was able to execute a fraudulent wire transfer to XXXX XXXX totaling {$7800.00} from a joint checking account that my wife and I have with chase. We contacted chases fraud department on the evening of XX/XX/XXXX to file a claim. We were told that they would contact us in 3-5 business days with the result of their investigation. After waiting 8 business days I called their fraud hotline to get an update and was informed that they had closed their investigation due to the transaction being authorized by me. When I asked why I would authorize a transaction and file a fraud claim they told me that they could try to recall the funds. 2 business days later I called the wire research department to be informed that the receiving bank said that the funds were not available duh On XX/XX/XXXX I went to a local branch and spoke with a banker that agreed with me that chase had dropped the ball. She was able to kick my case up the chain to the branch escalation department. I received a call from the branch escalation department on XX/XX/XXXX who assured me that they would re open the investigation and do what they could to get my money back. On XX/XX/XXXX the branch escalation department called me again to inform me that they had tried again to recall the funds but the receiving bank had once again said that the funds were no longer in the account. I asked why the claim was closed since this was fraudulent and they informed me that because I was targeted by a scam that this was not fraud. I just want chase to fulfill the purpose of a bank and refund my money that they failed tremendously to protect.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a dispute with Chase regarding an item I bought on XXXX that I never received. I ordered two items on XX/XX/, the order total was over XXXX XXXX but the item that I didn't receive cost {$180.00}. A month or a couple of months after opening the dispute, chase sided with the vender. With the vender 's argument being that the address the item was delivered to is the address several items bought from XXXX have been delivered to, thus it is an authorized address and the item was delivered. Both of these items required a signature from me upon delivery. I signed one, only one. Please request the signatures or verification of who it was delivered to from XXXX and it will proof that I only signed for one of the items and only received one of the items, not two as Chase & the seller are stating. The Tracking ID # are listed in the letter I received from Chase, second page. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: On or about XXXX, XXXX my wife was approved for a new car loan from JP Morgan Chase, of which I am the co barrower. Ach payments were set up to have been automatically withdrawn from our joint XXXX XXXX checking account by my wife, in order to never be delinquent on the new car loan from JP Morgan Chase. Chase did in fact receive the payment for XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX without any problem. However the payments for XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX, once issued by XXXX XXXX, and received by Chase Bank was not accepted by Chase, and without any notification, nor explanation, the payments for the above stated months were all returned to XXXX XXXX! This error which has been caused by Chase, currently appears on both my wife 's credit, as well as my own, which has adversely effected our credit score! My wife 's credit score was over XXXX points, and my score was over XXXX points. We now are being punished for a problem that was caused by Chase, and not by my wife, and I. Almost all of our credit cards have been reduced to {$500.00} because of the appearance of being delinquent which has been reported on the credit reports. And our ability to obtain any personal loans, have been impossible to obtain, again because of what Chase has reported to the credit companies. I have tried several times to resolve this issue with Chase, by having 3 way phone conversations between XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX JP Morgan Chase Bank, and myself, but to no avail. Representatives from Chase have even told me that if I could provide documented proof of their error, they would in turn contact the 3 major credit companies with the updated and correct information, and that they would have the report of delinquency removed from my wife, and my credit report. and after I have gone into a Chase branch office, and provided them with photographic proof of Chase Bank 's error twice, this promise has not been fulfilled. Please note, that once I became aware of these actions caused by Chase Bank... I paid the account out of my Chase checking account in XXXX of XXXX, which brought the account to the status of current, and it has been current since XX/XX/XXXX.
