Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX Chase Cardmember Services Attn : Billing Inquiries XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, DE XXXX Re : Notice of disputed charge to Chase Sapphire Card Ending in No. XXXX Seemingly out-of-the-blue Chase assessed a rebill of {$2100.00} to my account on XX/XX/XXXX over 8 months after they credited me after research of non-receipt of an item. The charge is in error because the item was never delivered from merchant ,1 XXXX XXXX Please note the following : I ordered the item on in the amount of {$2100.00} back in XXXX of XXXX The merchant promised to deliver the items to me on immediately stating item was in stock. ( I made this order despite in earlier different order for {$2300.00} for another item that this same merchant actually cancelled and provided a refund on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX ) However, after going back and forth all the way thru XX/XX/XXXX with the merchant, the merchant then admitted that the item actually had not been in stock, but now was and as consolation they would give me {$70.00} back for the trouble and item was being shipped in XXXX. Yet still, not getting any shipping confirmation from the merchant, and after waiting additional two weeks in XXXX, I called and spoke with the merchants customer service on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and again was advised that there would be a delay and they had no ETA for the order. The merchant never responded until XX/XX/XXXX almost a month later, telling me they are ready to ship to which I advised of the month prior cancellation and to not bother. Now, in XX/XX/XXXX this refill suddenly pops-up and I was back and forth with Chase CS on the phone finally someone sees error and advises my account will be corrected in 24 hours. Its now 3 days later and not only hasnt been corrected but i receive a backdated letter from Chase referencing wrong transaction. I speak with a Supervisor XXXX who advised I may have to wait longer and no acknowledgement of contradictory notices from Chase.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, I signed up for a Chase business account in person with a bank representative, XXXX XXXX This included a checking account, savings account, and chase Ink preferred credit card to help with purchases. I engaged in multiple conversations to affirm the requirements needed to qualify to the bonus and knew it to be XXXX XXXX spend in the first 3 months as is listed on their website. There are multiple cards available which all offer sign on bonus, contingent on spend amounts. The Ink preferred seemed the best fit and within my reach of predicted spend so I decided on this. After completing the spend over the XXXX within 3 months ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I anticipated receiving my bonus points in the following statement period. I understood it usually takes an extra month to receive this so I didn't think anything of it that it hadn't appeared in XXXX, but became concerned in XXXX when I still had not received my XXXX bonus points from reaching my spend. I have since had 3 separate calls and meetings with XXXX to investigate including opening a case with Chase credit cards. They claimed to have sent a letter in the mail with a decision. I had not received a letter for 2 weeks and followed up with XXXX to better understand what the outcome would be. He refused to engage with me in any meaningful conversation to explain, rather deferred to calling Chase customer service and waiting on the phone with me during business hours for extended periods of time ( 30+ plus ). Once we got a hold of a customer service rep, she vaguely claimed denial with no further explanation referring to timing of the bonus spend not applying during the time I signed up. I asked for writing/further proof and explanation of this and was met with silence and we can't help you any more. I'm at a loss of explanation because I've always had such a good experience with Chase across the 6 years of business I have done with personal banking/credit cards. This was the first time where they didn't honor or provide exceptional customer service. I feel completely gaslit and have yet to be shown proof or fair explanation for what I was told originally when signing up for credit card and what I have not received so far.

Consumer Complaint: Refund requested for cancelled trip from XXXX and XXXX XXXX. Both XXXX and XXXX XXXX keep giving me the runaround saying " the other '' has to do the refund... Chase is caught in the middle. But nobody is returning my money. The total amount of money paid to the booking agency business XXXX was {$1700.00} through my credit card with Chase. The business committed to booking the itinerary including all flights, and dealing with payment and refunds should any interference occur. The dispute is for a cancelled trip. There were numerous cancelled flights that led to a cancelled trip. They have charged me for the entire trip with no refunded amount. I only took one flight. I am asking for {$1300.00} only, which is minus the cost of the one flight. The business XXXX and XXXX XXXX has not tried to resolve the problem. I have gone back and forth with XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Chase, and even XXXX XXXX trying to get this resolved. XXXX keeps telling me to go to the airline, XXXX XXXX, but the airline says they can not issue a refund because it was booked through XXXX business and they, therefore, hold the money. XXXX keeps giving me the runaround and has been unhelpful in every regard. I was even hung up on by one of their managers when calling in for more information, despite me being kind about the ordeal all I did was ask questions about how to get this resolved, there was absolutely no reason to hang up on me. I have tried every avenue to get this sorted amicably outside of court, as I would really prefer not to have to go to court, but I will sue if I have to. Chase has been helpful, but said they " can't confirm you're due a credit because the services you purchased were received or available to use '' despite my giving all information about the situation via phone through numerous phone calls, and sending in all documents with clear evidence about all cancelled flights and the cancelled trip including but not limited to : emails from XXXX stating all delayed and cancelled flights, documents of receipt and proof of purchase on all accounts, scanned images of the tickets, itinerary numbers, as well as documented evidence of the United States Federal Aviation Administration ground stop order on the morning of XX/XX/2023 that led to the start of this whole ordeal. I should not have to pay for a trip I did not get to take because the AIRLINE kept cancelling my flight. It's distressing that nobody is willing to help me with this. I understand Chase can only do so much, but it's ridiculous their " findings '' state that the services were received DESPITE having CLEAR evidence that I did not, in fact, receive the services. I have sent in a demand letter to XXXX, and have filed a fraud report with XXXX, a Consumer Complaint to the office of the Attorney General, and will move forward with a lawsuit if needed.

Subissue: Credit card company forcing arbitration
Consumer Complaint: On or around XXXX, I logged into my Chase online account. When doing so, I was presented with a couple documents I had to agree with to continue- a Digital Services Agreement and a Online and Mobile E-Sign Disclosure and Consent Agreement. One or both of these have a forced-arbitration agreement. Obviously, you can opt out of the forced-arbitration agreement. On page # XXXX of the Digital Services Agreement XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX it says : Can I ( customer ) cancel or opt out of this agreement to arbitrate? You have the right to opt out of this agreement to arbitrate if you tell us within sixty ( 60 ) days of accepting this Agreement. Requests to opt out of this Agreement that are made more than sixty ( 60 ) days after the initial acceptance of this Agreement are invalid. If you already have pending litigation or arbitration against/with us when you accept this Agreement, any request to opt out of this arbitration clause will not apply to that litigation or arbitration. If you want to opt out, go to the Legal Agreements and Disclosures section of your chase.com or jpmorganonline.com profile or on Chase Mobile or JP Morgan Mobile. Otherwise this agreement to arbitrate will apply without limitation. Opting out of this agreement to arbitrate will not affect the other provisions of this Agreement. If you validly opt out of this agreement to arbitrate, your decision to opt out will apply only to this arbitration agreement and not any other arbitration agreement So, having read the agreement and being a knowledgeable consumer, I went to the Legal Agreements and Disclosures section of [ my ] chase.com profile.. Unfortunately, no option to opt out is present here. I then scoured the chase.com site for any option to opt out anywhere on their site. No such option is available anywhere on their site. So, I sent them a secure message, via their secure message center, asking where this option was. I was told to submit this option in writing to some XXXX XXXX XXXX I believe. When I pointed out that the above-referenced text says I can do this online, I was told to download the app and do it through there. I advised I was not downloading any such app and I again told the rep to opt me out of this arbitration agreement, per my right. I was then told to call some XXXX # to opt out. So I called the XXXX #. The first rep I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about - she thought I was trying to turn off my online access or my XXXX authentication. After speaking with her for ~ XXXX minutes, she transferred me to a number that disconnected me. I called back and spoke with a XXXX rep who also had no idea what I was talking about but after checking with another department informed me that we are no longer able to opt you out once you have accepted the agreements. I then asked to speak with a supervisor who supposedly filled out the form to opt me out. All said and told, I was on the phone for ~ an hour. And having spoke with ~ XXXX people at this point, most of whom just pawned me off to someone else, I had little faith in my opt out request being honored. So, I sent another message via the secure message center asking for confirmation that my opt out request was completed and was successfully submitted. I AGAIN got back a message referencing something other than the current agreements that I am trying to opt out of. All said and told I have now spoken with : * 3 people over the phone * 9 or 10 people via the website * 0 people who could provide me the link of where to opt out on the website * 3 people who referred me to an app * 2 people who referred me to a phone call * and 1 person who told me to go into a branch None of these people seem to know what they are talking about, and I have less-than-0 faith that my opt out request has been honored.
