I am submitting this complaint on XX/XX/2023, since the funds are still not available in my Chase business checking account. Chase informed me that XXXX XXXX had not successfully released the funds, but XXXX XXXX informed me otherwise.

Consumer Complaint: I have about XXXX XXXX points missing from my Chase XXXX XXXX card. I have been told by Chase that the points I see on my account ( screenshot attached )- which clearly shows I have XXXX points - represents the points I have earned over the life of the account and that I only have about XXXX points that I can use. However I have never redeemed points and have not been given an explanation for where the XXXX points have gone. I have included XXXX screenshots showing I clearly have XXXX points and XXXX screenshot showing that I only have XXXX when I go to use them. The remaining attachments are my secure messages with chase where they tell me nothing is wrong and never provide an explanation for where the points have gone. You can see on the fourth attached secure message to chase that they said they will " no longer respond to this specific inquiry '' so without explaining where the points have gone they have also told me they wont respond to me any further about this matter. My only recourse at this point for an explanation is a CFPB complaint.

Issue: Closing an account
Subissue: Funds not received from closed account
Consumer Complaint: Hi, I received an email from Chase on XX/XX/XXXX said they are going to close my account and I need to call or log in App to unlock. I tried log in but failed and I called customer service who told me ALL accounts are already closed by Chase and she can not provide a reason for that. She also said the remain balance will be sent in 10 business days. I stopped by at Chase branch on XX/XX/XXXX because I haven't received my check for around {$7000.00} balance. One of the stuff looked up in the computer and told me the review of my case was done and check was cut, should be delivered in next 7-10 days. I went to the same branch again on XX/XX/XXXX as I received email bank statement of one of my Chase credit card that I was told should be closed by Chase already. The banker called other departments and told me, they are still reviewing my account and need me to keep waiting another 1-2 weeks before they mail my check. From my perspective, Chase is holding my money for no reason in the past 20 days, and some of employees lied to my face about my account and check status. I am supposed to receive the check within two weeks after they closed my account, and yet, they are not even capable of giving me an exact time and status of my case. Because of Chase, now I have big trouble paying bills or living. I may be evacuated from the apartment if I don't pay rent asap. Despite the situation of my unfinished check, one of them told me my accounts were are closed but they were not. Causing me to have to pay more interest and late fee for credit card eventually. That seems like pure fraud to me.

Consumer Complaint: Over a year ago my then partner received a settlement for XXXX. He did not have a bank account so I agree to deposit two checks into my account and gave him the money to pay off his bills, which can be seen in the withdraws immediately after the deposit. A year later, in XX/XX/, my former partner and his lawyer got into a conflict over how much was promised for the settlement vs how much was removed and amount of lawyer fees were due. I'm not sure entirely what was all the circumstances of this conflict, as me and my ex partner have parted ways, but the outcome was that this lawyer and the insursnce company went to XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX to chargeback my account in which XXXX XXXX XXXX required then to file a police report against me, which they did, though i have not been contacted by the police or the DA 's office about this report. So XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX initiated the chargeback and my bank, Chase Bank charged my account for the XXXX, leaving my account with a negative balance of XXXX. Two days after the chargeback was done on got an email telling me to check my chase bank in app mailbox for important news. I followed the instructions sent and got a blank page. And then learned later that day as I tried to use my debit card and it was rejected. I called Chase and alln they would tell me is that I had 5 days to bring my account out of the negative or chase will close close my checking and savings accounts. they would give no other information. I have had that account for 35 years, not always under the chase name but the same account, and have been with Chase since they took over XXXX XXXXXXXX, so they have plenty of history with me to look back on and clue them that maybe a simple phone call would have cleared this up as I have absolute proof I did not commit any kind of fraud or theft proof being the individual would be seen with me as we deposit the check through the ATM, all the following withdraws back to this individual in the following 39 ; days after the deposit, and if need be I could have provided them with text messages from his phone that he received every last XXXX from me. A quick phone call prior to the withdraw would have cleared everything up, but a email two days afterwards to check some unknown mailbox in the app ( which I no longer have access to ) is just no acceptable for your customer of 35 years. Since they have wiped out all the money I had along with this charge back i wasn't able to pay rent and bills, all occuring fees for nonpayment and late fees including my two chase credit cards that they are now demanding payment on, but since my first priorities are to get caught up on rent and utilities first I haven't been able to pay them yet. And just to add to it, XXXX XXXX XXXX my credit card account with them for about 20 years now because of : return of an automatic payment, automatic payment account was closed, and because of adverse information on my credit history report ( which shows the debt to chase for this XXXX and my credit score has taken a dive ) all of which was caused by their improper charge back to my account, which again they initiated with out a single second of investigation. The only person that would listen to me at chase just said that it wasn't their fault, that I would have to sue my former partner to recover the money. Only problem there is that he did not know they were doing a chargeback and he has not seen a single XXXX of this charge back. His version of the story is that he did not say he didn't get the money he told his lawyer that he doesn't have the money as in he already spent it. Everybody I have talked to have concluded that in the end I will be the one owing this debt as the ex partner has absolutely no assets or job for me to go after, but has said if by chance he gets any money from this debacle that he would turn it over, but ss of now he didnt know any of this was happening, jes nit expecting any money and nobody knows or admits to having this money. I do know that my ex partner for sure doesn't have any of this money as his lawyer even told me that he hasn't been sent any money. In case you need it my former account number with chase or XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, I can send to you. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/, I opened a checking and a savings account at a Chase branch based on a targeted promotion I received in my email. The promotion said that I would receive {$300.00} bonus in the checking account when one direct deposit is made to the account within 90 days. I made the direct deposit within the time frame, but never received the bonus. Regarding the Savings account, the promotion said that I would receive {$600.00} bonus if I open both savings and checking on the same day and maintain {$15000.00} in the account. I have not received any bonus yet. I was told by the banker that I would only get {$200.00} because their marketing departing has an issue with the coupon code. I have tried to contact the bank multiple times and have not received any reply. Chase created the following case number, but provided no follow up : XXXX

I am a student and i can not pay my credit card without that money. They told me I need find my own solution to pay it. It is so ridiculous.
