Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I was charged by merchant XXXX XXXX XXXX twice without my authorization. I was charged {$110.00}, and an additional XXXX ( with a {$5.00} tip included for a total of {$120.00} ), but the charge with the tip included is the only charge I authorized and signed for. I inputted a claim with Chase Bank and they notified me that there isn't anything they could do and to reach out to the merchant. When I reached out to the merchant, they tried to justify the double charge and the fact that they swiped my debit card twice for the same transaction. I have a receipt showing the charge for {$120.00}, the one which I signed for and submitted to Chase as proof, but they refuse to acknowledge it. Therefore, they advised they will be taking the provisional credit of {$110.00} back out from my account. I should not be responsible for the merchant double swiping my card.

Consumer Complaint: After reviewing my credit profile on XX/XX/XXXX| identified a discrepancy with account listed under JP Morgan and validation was requested as this was an account that I did not recognize. I reviewed my credit report again on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and the account continues to reflect on my credit report and I have not received any correspondence from creditor to validate this account as correctly belonging to me, nor has my credit report been updated to reflect that the account is disputed and therefore a 2nd validation letter was sent out on this day. After reviewing credit report again on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX there have been no updates and account is still reflecting on the report. I do not belleve the account belongs to me nor do I believe that the creditor has authorization to access the account nor authorization to attempt to collect on the account and the account continues to negatively affect me. Please strike and remove this account from all 3 credit bureaus until adequate validation has been received proving that the account belongs to me and all information is correct.

Issue: Closing an account
Subissue: Funds not received from closed account
Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/XXXX or XXXX, XXXX, Chase Bank initiated the unilateral closure of my account, a decision met with scant information despite my XXXX pursuit of elucidation. Acknowledging the contentious nature of our past interactions, I concur that terminating our financial association is a prudent decision. Engaging in further discourse with the bank 's representatives, documented through recorded conversations, led to the understanding that obtaining a cashier 's check at any branch on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX, would be a seamless process. However, upon my visit, it became apparent that this resolution hinged on the necessity of closing all active claims, a path I'm reluctant to pursue without compromising my integrity. While I'm willing to leave funds available for ongoing investigations, my concern is rooted in the observed trend of extended delays and unresolved financial matters for patrons, raising doubts about the expeditious retrieval of funds, if at all achievable. The closure of my Chase Bank account has not only cast a shadow on my personal financial landscape but has also wrought considerable hardships for numerous individuals who, like me, rely on the timely access to their funds. This abrupt disruption has created a ripple effect, causing tangible setbacks in the lives of many. The repercussions extend beyond my immediate circumstances, reverberating through the lives of others who are dependent on the funds entangled in this bureaucratic quagmire. The protracted delays and uncertainties surrounding the retrieval of funds have introduced an unwarranted layer of stress and financial instability, affecting not only my well-being but also that of countless others who find themselves ensnared in this disconcerting predicament. As we collectively navigate the labyrinthine processes imposed by the bank, the toll on our daily lives becomes increasingly palpable. The detrimental impact transcends the individual, highlighting systemic issues that warrant attention and resolution to alleviate the burden borne not just by myself but by a community of individuals grappling with the ramifications of this unforeseen and unjust closure.

Consumer Complaint: Im the customer of Chase/XXXX credit card. I want to complain to their customer service department and request my refund. In XX/XX/2023, I called Chase credit card company to dispute a transaction {$250.00} on XX/XX/2023 about XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, as I just booked and stayed one night there on XX/XX/2023, but was charged twice on XX/XX/2023 & XX/XX/2023. Chase started to investigate this issue. But on XX/XX/2023, I got their letter that said they considered the transaction valid and removed the temporary credit issued to my account. They also sent me the proof, which was the two reservations they got from the hotel. Through the two reservations, everyone can see clearly those are totally different two reservations. Different guest name, different reservation # and room number..even different XXXX membership number. The next day I contacted their customer service again to complain this judgement. They agreed to reopen this dispute and sent me a letter on XX/XX/2023. Then I got their notice by mail on XX/XX/2023 that said they confirmed the transaction was valid. I called back again and complained to a specialist, was told that they would research this issue again and would give me an update within two weeks. On XX/XX/2023, my husband and I called their customer service, was told that this transaction was valid because this charge took place too long ago! Too long? If their customer service staff had been more responsible after receiving the reservations from the hotel in XXXX and reviewed the proofs carefully, how could this case have been delayed for so long? This is entirely caused by their irresponsibility. I am extremely disappointed with their service!!! I requested Chase credit card to refund the amount.

Consumer Complaint: Prior to today, XX/XX/XXXX, ( likely XX/XX/XXXX ) I received multiple harassing phone calls where I was asked exceedingly stupid and irrelevant questions. I am authorized to discuss with Chase and compel chase to take action the SBA seeks that I have Chase undertake regarding an alleged PPP loan which must be a grant. Chase bank also received from the account holder a secure message which is a form that Chase themselves sent to us for the sake of authorization. In that authorization I made sure we included an older CFPB complaint number. Despite doing all this Chase bank isn't cooperating with us in regard to these PPP loans. Chase made representations to us about the forgiveness of these loans the refund of payments made to them, yet now Chase is instead mocking us on the phone very frequently.

Consumer Complaint: I received an email on XX/XX/ from JPMorgan Chase & Company Bank saying that my credit card bill is overdue and it is overdue by 120 days. However, I do not currently have a credit card from Chase Bank. I have not had a credit card in over 2 years from Chase Bank. I called to see what was going on and why am I receiving this email. I found out that someone used my social security number under a different name to get a credit card. I have requested as of 2 weeks ago to have this taken off of my report and investigated. I was getting the runaround saying that I needed to call the fraud department because Chase Bank couldn't do anything. The fraud department said I needed to call back Chase Bank. I want this matter to be investigated ASAP. I also asked what was the name on my account so I can file a police report for credit card fraud and they did not give me the name on file using my social security number to get this credit card. Niw this is affecting my credit score and should not be on my credit report because I do not have a Chase Bank credit card.
