Consumer Complaint: I am trying to get the money in my account transferred to another account. I don't know the password because my estranged husband won't tell me what it is. The people at the bank don't speak or understand enough XXXX to help me take care of this. I am ill and desperately need this money moved to my new bank so I can pay rent, buy food, etc. I've been trying to get this done for at least a month, but no luck. Aren't they required to hire people who speak or understand XXXX? I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and, as I said, ill. Aren't banks required to hire people so can communicate with their customers? I consider this exploitation or maybe even elder abuse!

Consumer Complaint: We are victims of SIM Swapping. On XX/XX/2023, The hacker transferred our phone numbers to their devices and gained access to our banks. With the number being transferred to their device, they could falsely authenticate the verification code being sent from the bank. They then proceeded to wire money out of our accounts. We noticed there was a fraud transfer, so we called Chase Bank and requested to stop the wire transfer in progress. However, it seems Chase did not stop the transfer as requested, the fund was deducted from our account. We are complaining that Chase Bank did not do its part in securing our assets. We would like Chase to refund our loss due to their errors.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: While I was travelling abroad and my card became comprised, a merchant called " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' placed a {$59.00} charge on my card. Another merchant called " XXXX XXXXA '' placed a charge of {$300.00} on the card on the same day. I did not stay at that hotel. I stayed at the hotel of the XXXX XXXX and can prove it t to the CFPB if needed. I disputed the XXXX charges with Chase and had a new card issued. Chase rebilled me claiming that the chip was presented. I explained to Chase that when I was in a taxi in XXXX, I tried to pay the cab driver with cash and the driver said he only accepted credit cards. I gave the card and he never asked me to confirm on the screen what I was paying or the amount and I never received a receipt. I believe now that the cab driver cloned my card. I advised Chase of this and I asked them to verify with the merchant what information the so-called merchant had about me but Chase failed to abide by the Fair Credit Billing Act and has now inappropriately rebilled me. Chase claimed they would remove the incorrect rebill amount but has yet to do so.

Issue: Closing an account

Consumer Complaint: The checking account I had with JP Morgan Chase for the last 6 years has been closed by the bank without any specific reason and I was told that they decided to stop business with me. However, they closed the account without notice, restricted access to my funds, rejected ongoing payments and checks and their negligence caused tremendous trouble in payments for me. If a bank does not want business with me, I'm more than happy to switch to another one as there are hundreds of them in line but they should have some manners and manage the process properly. They never sent me a notice about their decision or warned me in advance so that I could arrange alternatives for my ongoing payments. I can't wait for future and decentralized finance where people will not need criminal banks as intermediary for financial transactions. When that day comes, I will watch Jp Morgan Chase going out of business in great joy.
