Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I have lived at my address since XXXX and never received any notice regarding the debt that appears on my credit report from ATTXXXX XXXX for {$440.00}. I became aware of this debt while reviewing my credit report in XXXX of XXXX. I have tried disputing this debt twice. We disconnected, settled and returned all XXXX XXXX equipment in XXXX. I called ICS Systems Inc and they could not give me any information other than it was a XXXX XXXX bill. I am happy to settle this debt but I believe this to be inaccurate. The account has always been in my husbands name as well. This doesnt make sense as to why it is on my report. XXXX also had a New York address for me and I have never lived in New York. Something just does not feel right with this debt or I would have already tried to settle it. I have had several fraudulent transactions against my name so I try to be very careful. Please advise.

Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX, a federally protected consumer, and I am making this complaint against IC System , Inc., for committing identity theft. Consumer Complaint: Original Creditor account is already 4-5 years old. A new company is showing on credit report as newly opened in 2021. It's stated NOT to communicate with creditor if it is an old account for that may, " reset '' the time clock of responsibility showing on credit report. I have had NO contact with new company, but it shows as fairly new account. This is not a fair practice as account is actually old and should be falling off my report. Original Creditor may have an account with newer company showing on my report, however, I DO NOT, and NEVER HAVE had an account with the new company, nor have I had ANY contact with them. PLEASE HELP, I've been dealing with this issue for far too long.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in reference to I.C. Systems, Inc. This debt has been sold multiple times and each new company reports the account to my credit with the date that they purchased it, which is incorrect. This bureau can see that I have reported this debt as fraud on XX/XX/XXXX. The original date that this account went into arrears was in XXXX. Yet, it is reported to my credit with a date of XX/XX/XXXX. This is significantly infringing on my 7-year window. The time doesn't restart just because that's when they purchased the debt. Further, I have provided XXXX with a police report and shown that the account was a fraud committed against me when one of their own employees stole my information and added lines to my account without my knowledge. However, they have determined that just because I knew the individual that it could not be fraud, which is absurd. People commit crimes against people they know all the time. The amount of the debt is currently listed as {$3800.00}.
