Consumer Complaint: I have disputed this account information as inaccurate with you, and you have failed to respond. Under the laws of the FDCPA, I have contacted the collectors myself and have been unable to get them to verify that this is a valid debt. The FCRA requires you to verify the validity of the item within 30 days. If the validity can not be verified, you are obligated by law to remove the item. There is a clear case of unverified debt here, and I urge you to remove this item before I am forced to take legal action. Consumer Complaint: This situation is over a leased cellphone buyout from XXXX. I overpaid for my leased phone and wanted that overpayment to go to owning the phone. I gave them excess money and cant even get a refund for it. I decide to cancel my service. I request a return package to send my phones in. When I finally received it I returned the phones and moved on with my life. Next thing I see is a charge for the full amount for the phones. I call XXXX up and verify they received the phones before asking if I owe anything. They look it up and see the phones were received I said ok cool and hang up after confirming my account was cancelled successfully. This XXXX bill saying I owe them for the phones must have been an error. I later receive a collections flag on my credit, I found out by getting denied on a credit application pull. I contacted XXXXXXXX shortly after about this issue and they confirmed that the phones were received successfully and I should not owe anything. They said they will contact the collections agency about this, and call me within 7 days. ( I recorded the conversation as well. ) they never called me back. Their verification is inaccurate and they are making me responsible for a debt I do not owe, and tarnishing my credit at the same time.

Consumer Complaint: I was a patron of XXXX XXXX years ago. The service was terrible, so I paid off my account and ported my number to another service provider in XXXX. I went to the XXXX XXXX Office, told the associates I wanted to port my number to another provider. They checked my account to make sure I didn't owe a balance. ( You can only port if you don't owe a balance on your account! ) Then they called the new service provider to give them the port code. They were supposed to give me a XXXX dollar gift card for turning in my XXXX, as well as over XXXX bucks in rebated fees for the poor service, never received any of it. I called and called. That should have been the end of my business with XXXX XXXX, months later they tried to bully me into paying them more money for a bill I didn't owe. I don't know who this I.C. System Company is? How can these people put anything on my credit bureau, I have not heard of them or done business with them ever! They need to remove their record from my report, they know absolutely nothing about this ordeal!
