I do not owe this money. When the first collection agency contacted me I called XXXX XXXX and verified the bill had been paid in full. XXXX assured me they would take care of the collection activity. They did not take care of the collection activity and I now find myself having to deal with another demand notice from a different collection agency.

Send the validation of these accounts as well with your response back to this complaint. I want the account name, account balance, past due amount, and date of last activity verified and provided to me as well.

Be advise that I am fully aware of my rights since I studied US laws lately, I know that I am allowed under the HIPAA law ( Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ) to protect my privacy & medical records from 3rd parties. Let me tell you, I am not allowing any 3rd party collection agency to get my personal financial info. I understand that the HIPAA does allow for limited information about me but any details may only be revealed with the patients authorization

Consumer Complaint: I reached out to IC System Inc. to dispute the debt issued by XXXX and they suggested that they could settle the debt and negotiated two prices one for approximately {$300.00} and another for approximately {$180.00} which where I declined both. I did provide in writing to the agency that I could return the modem box to XXXX in place of the debt being owed before the collection date of XXXX IC System did not attempt to reach out to me to confirm if the request was accepted or denied in order to stop the debt. Instead, they collected anyway. I also have reason to believe that they did not contact XXXX to negotiate terms of settlement. They assured me that they disputed the debt in their system but XXXX has to agree to the dispute. Communication with both the agency and XXXX has not been resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I first noticed the account on my credit in XXXX of 2022 but I originally assumed it was somehow connected to my XXXX account for an un returned modem that Id been meaning to send back when I had the time. ( Similar to how XXXX XXXX and XXXX paired together ) But once I called to verify the problem I realized it was an entirely different service and account connected to an address Ive never even lived at.
