Consumer Complaint: We requested the cancellation of the XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2018 as we moved to another address that the company could no longer provide us with its service because there would be no coverage at the location and as they guided us we returned the equipment at XXXX and at the time the attendant said that we would not need proof as they would automatically download the system. after 1 month of our move the XXXX sent us the last charge for a month that was not even used since we had made the cancellation request and they did not do it, but to avoid fighting we accepted to make the payment and did not make any complaints. After 2 months again after making the payment this time the XXXX sends us a new charge, but this time it would be for the equipment that was returned by us since the beginning of the service cancellation request at XXXX and thus started our fight with this company that we thought they were suitable until now because we stayed for 2 years as their customers. And even after explaining over and over again that we had returned the equipment, they still insisted on charging us for something that we returned until now that month we had the unexpected news that this company put us in collection for something we shouldn't and that was returned and that if there was an error it was not on our part and in addition we tried to contact XXXX and they informed us that they no longer have the information because the XXXX removed us from the customer system.

Consumer Complaint: IC Systems continues to report erroneous information on my XXXX consumer report. In response 6o my debt validation request, I received a bill on XXXX letterhead that does not itemize their claim for the debt being reported that I owe. I am d4manding that this be removed from my consumer report immediately because this is not my debt and I do not owe XXXX nor IC Systems {$260.00}. A copy of a bill does not VALIDATE the bill. This erroneous reporting has caused me tremendous grief in my attempts to refinance my home.

It is not reporting accurately because : XXXX is showing this account as still open when collections are close-ended accounts, XXXX failed to verify this account, the account status says not disputed when it is, there is also no date of last payment for statute-of-limitations purposes, and IC systems/ XXXX XXXX did not notify me beforehand that this collection would go on my credit report ( FDCPA section 809 ).

Consumer Complaint: I noticed this debt was on my credit and I had been asking them validate the debt and they failed on multiple occasions. I even tried to pay it at a lower rate to have it removed as it is affecting me and my children from being able to rent a home. The last was very rude and would not budge although I explained I did not owe that to company and I never received services. I do not owe for services never received. Furthermore this company is not accredited to collect in California. This debt is listed twice on my credit report, affecting it negatively

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a credit alert that that my score dropped 34 points due to two collection accounts reported by IC Systems. After further research, I concluded IC Systems is reporting a MEDICAL DEBT from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that was sold to them on XX/XX/XXXX. IC Systems has violated the 180-day ( six month ) wait period before a medical bill can be reported to credit bureaus. I believe that is a shady fraudulent reporting tactic on behalf of IC Systems to not label it as a medical collection but a collection/charge-off. The medical collection was {$1400.00} in which IC Systems is illegally reporting two separate balancing of {$1400.00} and {$73.00} which show two collection accounts. To make matters worst the country is coming off lockdown for more than 45 days due to COVID-19 and IC Systems reports two collections prematurely that has impacted my credit scores. That makes me ask did the state of Minnesota deem IC Systems " essential workers '' during this global Pandemic. I have yet to receive correspondence by mail from IC Systems pre COVID-19, during or after. IC Systems is a shady collection agency. Account # XXXX {$1400.00} Account # XXXX {$73.00}

SYSTEM, INC XXXX Your company have violated FCRA 615 ( f ) ( 15 U.S.C. 1681m ( f ) ) ( f ) Prohibition on sale or transfer of debt caused by identity theft You have not responded to my request to provide me with an investigation report. I need this resolve, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, these disputed items may not appear on my credit report if they can not be supported by any evidence ( 1 ) In general No person ( company ) shall sell, transfer for consideration, or place for collection a debt that such person has been notified under section 1681c-2 of this title has resulted from identity theft. ( 2 ) Applicability The prohibitions of this subsection shall apply to all persons collecting a debt described in paragraph ( 1 ) after the date of a notification under paragraph ( 1 ). ( 3 ) Rule of construction Nothing in this subsection shall be construed to prohibit -- ( A ) The repurchase of a debt in any case in which the assignee of the debt requires such repurchase because the debt has resulted from identity theft ; ( B ) the securitization of a debt or the pledging of a portfolio of debt as collateral in connection with a borrowing ; or ( C ) the transfer of debt as a result of a merger, acquisition, purchase and assumption transaction, or transfer of substantially all of the assets of an entity. A person that furnishes information to any consumer reporting agency shall have in place reasonable procedures to respond to any notification that it receives from a consumer reporting agency under section 1681c-2 of this title relating to information resulting from identity theft, to prevent that person from refurnishing such blocked information.
