Consumer Complaint: This XXXX was disputed and removed from all three credit reporting agencies prior to XX/XX/2020, I checked my XXXX report and this same account was re-added under another collection agency, nothing sent to me confirming the account which I had previously disputed and had removed because it did not belong to me. This should not be legal that a collection company can add a collection and not verify or send the consumer notification regarding a fake account.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from IC Systems which is listed as a Collection Agency. They stated in their letter to me that the original creditor and CURRENT creditor to whom this debt is owed is XXXX XXXX. That is misleading by making me believe that I can not dispute the debt under the FDCPA since it is the original creditor trying to collect the debt. Except for the fact that this letter and communication is from IC Systems and the company website plainly states that it is a collection agency. Even if said collection agency is a subsidiary of XXXX, their sole purpose is collecting debts and can not mislead the consumer to believe that they are something that they are truly not. This is a clear violation of the FDCPA in the wording of the collection notice.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/20 I was alerted that my credit rating dropped several points. I investigated and found it was from a collection agency called IC System. I called the company first thing in the morning XX/XX/20. The agent told me the {$450.00} debt was from XXXX XXXX. I told the agent rather than paying them, Id rather call XXXX and get back to her if necessary. I found the receipt for our in person return of all equipment from XX/XX/20. I called XXXX the following morning and found I had a balance of {$130.00}. I immediately paid that balance over the phone with XXXX. I asked the representative at XXXX to check and see if she showed any other debt to their company. After searching My name and account by state, birthday and ssn she confirmed I had no other outstanding debt. I called IC System back and kindly asked them to remove the debt due to the fact I had paid XXXX and was willing to provide receipts, account numbers, etc. that validated that the equipment was returned and bill was paid. The agent XXXX XXXX was not interested in the fact that I had proof that I paid all debt and returned all equipment to XXXX. IC Systems best solution was to pay 70 % of {$450.00}. I was not comfortable paying any money I dont owe. Although I have documentation IC System refuses to acknowledge my receipt that shows the corresponding account number matching theirs for my account and is unwilling to remove the inaccurate derogatory item from my credit record. I also never received communication by mail from IC System regarding this account. The timing of this is painful during a national Covid19 pandemic. I am preparing to send my daughter to college in a few months, so the impact on my credit is exponentially damaging to our familys plans. IC SYSTEM is using reckless tactics to collect a bounty that has been settled. Their collections methods are unscrupulous and lack integrity. IC Systems lack of willingness to acknowledge settled debts shows gross negligence due to the fact that they are deliberately maintaining the derogatory status on my credit reports which is adversely impacting my credit rating.

Consumer Complaint: I originally filed a complaint against ic collection in XX/XX/2020 for placing collection information on my credit I report for fictitious debt. I.C. Collection agreed to provide valid proof and statements for said debt. Today, XX/XX/20, I received statements for an account not mine. I.C SYSTEMS did not provide proof such as signatures, identification documents associating me with the debt. I am still disputing the debt as mine.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX has sold my acct to multiple collections companies and they are all trying to collect different amounts. I've already paid my balance. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX reported to XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$520.00}. I paid this amount even though I believe it was an error and I think the cable company charged me for equipment i returned. I paid {$520.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, ref # XXXX. I can attached bank statement. This was under my legal name of XXXX XXXX. Then on XX/XX/XXXX the CPA billed me for {$420.00} under the name XXXX XXXX for a XXXX acct. It's not possible to have two cable accts for the same address i disputed it. Now another collection called IC System is billing me for the {$420.00} again. XXXX XXXX XXXX also reported the {$420.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and I believe I also paid this acct in error since i was in the process of buying a home.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX has an incorrect claim on my credit report And has deducted XXXX points from my credit score. I never received any treatment or XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am a female and not a male. When I called ic Systems, the collection agency for this account, they claimed it was for a XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) and the patients name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. Please remove this charges from my credit report. I am a good citizen that has always paid all my bills on time. This is so unfair to me and a nightmare. I used to be married to a XXXX XXXX XXXX and had a brother in-law with similar initials. I divorced XXXX over 3 years ago and moved from that address in 2017. Please fix this because its giving me nightmares. XXXX XXXX XXXX is not a variation of my name but the credit reporting agencies have added that name to my account.
