Consumer Complaint: We subscribed to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for our home in XXXX, Florida for a period of time during XXXX After an in-person consultation, we agreed to do a basic service focused on keeping our lawn green and provided a credit card for payment. The service went on as planned, but we noticed areas in our lawn where their services did not result in the intended improvement. The Manager sent folks out for additional treatments on these areas as a result. There were no extra charges as these were a remedy for their lack of performance. At some point during these extra treatments, their dispatch team decided to also send people to put down other treatments. Since they often visit during the hours we work away from the home and were coming by frequently, we didn't check with them each time to see what the treatment was and whether it was something we agreed to. Browsing my credit card statement one day, I noticed that they had been double charging my account vs. the agreed upon price across multiple months. Their phone team claimed it was an issue on their end and said it would be refunded. Over the next month, it wasn't and then they transferred me to a different representative when I called. That person said it was for additional services that I signed up for and when I said that we hadn't signed up for anything, they said that their notes said we did and it was up to us to pay them. We absolutely did not want anything other than the lawn fertilization and should not be held responsible for the poor management of people by their local team.

Consumer Complaint: Below is my statement send to the FCC on XX/XX/XXXX that XXXX have yet to respond to ; also the XXXX and his debt XXXX have been falsifying the due date of the debt in their statement by moving up the due date every month. Lastly, my mane is XXXX XXXX XXXX I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) ; it has become exhausting to keep requesting that XXXX and/or all other parties to stop referring to me as XXXX XXXX Ref : FCC ticket ( # XXXX ) I understand that the main aim of the FCC is to foster communication between consumers and companies, but there comes a point when someone needs to intervene and provide assistance. XXXX appears uninterested in addressing my concerns, as their staff simply keeps recycling earlier responses in an effort to tire me out. Moreover, despite my multiple corrections, employees at the Verizon executive office continue to address me as XXXX XXXX even though I am a woman ( cisgender, born female ). This type of insensitivity played a role in my decision to file an initial discrimination complaint because an employee named XXXX mocked my name and derisively referred to me as a " low-class person. '' In their response, XXXX repeatedly emphasized the credits they had issued for my account. However, these credits only rectified charges that should never have been levied in the first place. Regarding international pass fees, I informed XXXX back in XX/XX/XXXX that I had no intention of using their wireless network during my travels, and their international pass charges do not include an opt-out feature. Consequently, when they charged me again in XX/XX/XXXX and tried to portray this as an act of generosity, I found it preposterous. Notably, XXXX appears to pick and choose which inquiries they wish to address. They have not explained why they sold my account to a collections agency before issuing the final bill or responded to concerns about discrepancies between the store 's listed device prices and what I was charged. Furthermore, the sales representative refused to sell me the device outright and pressured me into accepting a lease agreement. The more I think about it, the more convinced I become that this approach is designed to steer and trapped customers in a XXXX lease. XXXX is well aware that they billed me for two phone lines even though only one device was delivered ; neglected to apply trade-in credit for seven months ( and currently refuse to apply the remaining balance to my final bill ) ; charged me repeatedly for international passes without an opt-out option ; and consistently failed to honor the 15 % discount advertised to my employer. Despite all this, the company seems to believe they are justified in mistreating customers for 36 months by forcefully denying them device ownership and directing them into lease agreements. I believe I have been more than fair in my requests by asking XXXX for trade-in credit and an itemized final bill that breaks down device charges and service fees. Regrettably, their executive office staff has exhibited dishonesty in their responses to the FCC.
