Consumer Complaint: I had a phone account open with XXXX phone company some years back. I did a trade in to switch over with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I returned the XXXX phone back through the mail to get my trade in credits with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX told me they would close the phone account because I no longer had the phone in my possession, after I sent the trade in back through the mail, They never closed the account and charged it as a debt collector on my credit report with inaccurate information without any of my consent or notification what so ever.I never new it was on my credit report & I want it off my credit report and they gave me a balance of {$250.00} dollars. I payed {$51.00} dollars on the collection. But I want to know if theyre goin to delete it off my report. I tried disputing it through the company and XXXX XXXX. The account was opened XXXX XXXX. Last reported XXXX XXXX. The balance left is {$200.00}. Can you help me please Im looking to start a business and it wont be a good look for lenders. Thanks a lot!

Consumer Complaint: I filed a complaint with the CFPB about XXXX unlawfully, illegally, and without written consent from me the consumer reporting derogatory items on my credit report. I filed this complaint on XX/XX/. I received a response that XXXX was " investigating ''. I did not request an investigation, I requested immediate deletion due to no written consent from the consumer and inaccuracy. XXXX also responded that during their investigation they contacted a " data furnisher '' to verify the accuracy of the account. I am reporting XXXX, this is not only illegal this is unethical and not the proper way to validate any alleged debts. I am the consumer, I am the only person that can verify the validity of an alleged debt. XXXX illegally reached out to a third party in order to verify information about me the consumer and did not once reach out to me to confirm or deny the validity of these alleged accounts. Any person claiming I owe this debt without my knowledge or including me in the conversation is violating my rights to privacy as a consumer. XXXX also responded that they've updated aspects of the account which is also illegal. I did not now nor ever give XXXX permission to put false, inaccurate, and financially degrading information about me on their reporting platform. I also received feedback from XXXX that one of the accounts that I disputed would be deleted and that account is still reporting on my credit report despite them claiming they deleted it off my report. This has effected my mental and emotional well being, in addition this is directly negatively impacting my livelihood and creditworthiness. I'm trying to resolve this amicably before bringing the courts into this because then I will be seeking {$1000.00} in damages for each violation.

Consumer Complaint: Hi I checked my credit report as I am about to apply for a new apartment and saw these collections on my report which I do not recognize at all nor ever had any business with these companies they claim to represent. I have called and asked for information but they said that they can not find my information in their database but they are still reporting it on my credit report which is affecting my ability to move into my new place. I have submitted disputes with credit bureaus to no avail and I have requested debt validation from this company and they have failed to provide me with ANY proof or any response. It has passed the timeframe from when they were supposed to respond more than once and I feel they are ignoring me at this point. I just want this removed from my reports as this does not belong to me if it did I don't mind paying it and resolving it but they won't give me any information. It is frustrating dealing with ic systems and I hope you guys can help! Thank you!

Consumer Complaint: Unknown collections on credit report from an agency called IC System. I have one thats been open since XXXX XXXX asking for {$450.00} and another from the same company open since XXXX XXXX asking for {$100.00}. I have disputed these collections and the dispute was remarked 4 months ago stating Account information disputed by consumer, meet FCRA requirements. These collections are still on my credit report stating that Im required to pay them. I have no knowledge of these collections or what theyre for. Im not satisfied with the results of my dispute and would like further assistance with getting these unknown collections off my credit report.
