Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Notification didn't disclose it was an attempt to collect a debt
Consumer Complaint: On the XX/XX/2021, I called IC debt collection issuing to paid off a account and also to removed the collections off from my credit report. IC system collected unnecessary information to get a payment process. IC System Representative also agreed to process a pay for deletion. After, the representative received the payment. I was told my payment was something completely different from what I agreed to pay my debt for.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: I was notified by my credit report monitoring service that the account had been posted on my report as collection by I.C. Systems. I promptly contact I.C. Systems to try and understand what this collection was for and why it was on my report since I was not aware of any debt owed. The company has been unable to provide any information or offer a resolution. I spoke with a representative on XX/XX/XXXX, and was told that it would be best to dispute with the Credit Bureau. I took action and sent my dispute, spoke with the Bureau as well to provide as much information as I had. The Bureau conducted their investigation and updated the record to reflect " Affected by natural or declared disaster ''. This is completely inaccurate and not at all what was reported. I contact the original company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I.C. Systems again on XX/XX/XXXX, and was told that there was nothing they could do since I don't have the details about the account. Even if I tried calling to pay the debt, they would not accept my payment. At this point, I have no other recourse to resolve this issue besides disputing again with the Credit Bureau. I just want to resolve the issue and have it removed from my report. But this company would rather hold my credit report XXXX and not work with me to resolve it.

Consumer Complaint: I had an issue where XXXX caused malpractice harm to my animal. This resulted in additional expense at another vet hospital. Due to this issue, they agreed to release and cancel my contract since they violated the terms of the agreement to provide quality and medical competence to be a vet clinic. After 6-7 months IC systems was given an account saying I owed over a XXXX dollars. That is not valid. I have verbally disputed with them on multiple occasions and they continue to be unable to validate that I owe a debt and are using abbusive collection tactics and are refusing to validate the debt as the law required them to do with the FCRA. In addition, I was never given a 30 day notice of this debt. They proceeded to report to credit despite all my disputes. They have violated many strikes and I am requesting the immediate and total release of this debt and have it removed from my credit ASAP.

Consumer Complaint: They called and said the call was being recorded and asked my name and address. When I asked who they were they only stayed their name and said " this is not debt collections or a solicitor I am calling about a personal matter ''. I asked again who they were and they provided an old address and asked for me to confirm it was my address. I said no and they said they would mark my number as a wrong number and hung up. The woman said her name was XXXX XXXX. I called back and asked what company they were and she said IC System.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing this account with the credit bureaus for sometime now. Each time they would say that IC SYSTEMS would verify the debt. So I took it upon myself to ask IC SYSTEMS for validation of the debt. Are they legally able to collect on the debt? How did they calculate the amount they claim I owe? How do they know I am the owner of the debt? Im curious because I have never done business with them or the original creditor. Well, it has been more than 30 days and I still have not received anything proving the debt is mine. They received my letter on XX/XX/2021. Here is the tracking XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was under the impression that if they didn't respond it would automatically deleted from my credit reports. Silence is being in agreeance. I am sure there is a law that proves it.

Consumer Complaint: I recently found out that I have a debt collection on my credit report after a friend ran those reports for me. That being said, it says that I have a balance owed of {$410.00}. However, my final bill dated XX/XX/XXXX, from XXXX XXXX XXXX states that I owe XXXX. The first credit agency that had the collection stated {$240.00} as well. However, when the collection was sold off to another agency - IC systems - the amount had essentially doubled to what is now {$410.00}. My only theory is that they have included equipment that I had previously returned and you will find that tracking number below. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX and they too confirmed that they received that equipment back in XXXX. Below I will attach all the documents pertaining to this - the final XXXX XXXX XXXX bill, tracking number for equipment ( potentially what made the debt increase, but still does not justify why one collection agency had one amount and the other, another amount ), as well as the previous collection agency amount.
