Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing this account with the credit bureaus for sometime now. Each time they would say that IC SYSTEMS would verify the debt. So I took it upon myself to ask IC SYSTEMS for validation of the debt. Are they legally able to collect on the debt? How did they calculate the amount they claim I owe? How do they know I am the owner of the debt? Im curious because I have never done business with them or the original creditor. Well, it has been more than 30 days and I still have not received anything proving the debt is mine. They received my letter on XX/XX/XXXX. Here is the tracking XXXX. I was under the impression that if they didn't respond it would automatically deleted from my credit reports. Silence is being in agreeance. I am sure there is a law that proves it.

Consumer Complaint: Greetings, My name is XXXX XXXX and im submitting this complaint myself and there is no third party involved. It has come to my attention that your company IC SYSTEM is making a conscious effort of being willfully non-compliant of a lawful document that has been sent mailed multiple times certified mail, submitted through the CFPB multiple times, submitted the FTC, and submitted through the XXXX XXXX XXXX multiple times. These classified documents. Corporate policy does NOT AND HAS NEVER superseded federal laws of the FDCPA, Truth In Lending Act FCRA, and Title 15. I will give 10 days as a courtesy for officers/employees/agents/CFO 's at your agency ( IC SYSTEM ) to review the documents I provided. It would be the IC SYSTEM legal departments best interest to do their due diligence and to settle this privately. One the enforcement of this lawful document goes into effect there will be NO further negotiations. I need to be contacted immediately regarding this matter. Attached to this complaint is a Validation of Debt, A Affidavit of Fact, that is due on XXXX XXXX. I don't consent to you marking my CFPB complaint as a duplicate.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/2021 I was informed that my information was at risk of a data breach and or black web. When checking the accuracy of my credit file. I noticed that there were in fact wrong and unauthorized information reporting on my XXXX XXXX and XXXX. I did report to the Bureau along with the reporting agency which was I.C systems Inc. With the original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX After opening up an ongoing investigation with the XXXX county sheriff 's office . I sent over the incident report number, along with a notarized fraud affidavit informing them that I had indeed been a victim of identity theft. I sent over a copy of my social security card, identification card, and proof of my current address I've lived in the last 3 years. I faxed, emailed, and sent a certified letter to the above mentioned agency and have yet to hear back from the agency in whom are still reporting fraudulently to the Credit Bureau. I'm asking to have this creditor remove and delete this account immediately for fraud and identity theft in that this is not my debt nor have I had or have knowledge about entering into any commitment of debt or payment of any kind.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Notification didn't disclose it was an attempt to collect a debt
Consumer Complaint: I received a notification from my credit card ( XXXX ) that I had a derogatory mark on my credit report. I reviewed my credit report and there was an outstanding debt balance from IC System. I called IC System ( spoke with XXXX, ID # XXXX ) and explained that I was never notified of debt or given an tracking number. I asked for their documentation that they attempted to notify me of debt and they said that they attempted 1 call and could not leave a voicemail due to privacy and they could not mail a notice because my address was out of date, and no other attempts were made. I asked why other calls were not made before they submitted the debt to my credit report and XXXX states it due to having thousands of accounts and being understaffed.
