Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: A few months ago, I disputed a collection account on my credit reports from I.C. Systems ( collecting for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on the XXXX XXXX XXXX to which after an investigation, it was found that they did not have the documents to prove I actually owed any debt and therefore on XX/XX/2022 I received a response and a letter detailing that they would be requesting deletion of their negative tradeline. Now there was a discrepancy in the amount owed they put on the letter compared to what was already being reported, ( which I didnt think would matter, as well as I think they did on purpose to cause these problems ) but I didnt really complain as I was for sure it would be automatically deleted from all my reports anyways. NONE of the credit reporting agencies removed them by their selves because I know for a FACT IC Systems Inc, did not actually request deletion, because I had to dispute the account myself on XXXX XXXX XXXX, who after a few short days deleted the negative trade line themselves. Disputed with XXXX ( who typically is the first to remove trade lines, which shows IC Systems never requested deletion. On XX/XX/2022 I disputed the collection with XXXX & provided the letter to them via PDF to prove that it should be deleted. On XX/XX/2022 I received the results and was told that the information was verified and accurately reporting which was a problem as I wasnt disputing if it was accurate, it needed to be deleted. So so reopened the case under a new topic saying the account is indeed closed, and today XX/XX/2022 I got the results and once again they said the information was accurately reporting. But this time they said they contacted the furnished of the information ( IC Systems Inc ) and that the furnished told them the account was in fact reporting accurately. BOTH XXXX XXXX I.C. Systems Inc are both being negligent and in fact are disrupting my financial future by not doing right by what IC Systems has already said they would. This reporting is actually quite illegal, and my attorney is filing litigation against XXXX XXXX IC Systems. Remove the trade line and litigation will cease. This isnt a joke or a game. And as for IC Systems changing the supposed amount owed and making it differ on the letter compared to what you are reporting is a very under hand tactic and is also extremely illegal as well. I dont know what type of games you all have going but this is why collection agencies have such bad reputations, but if you look at all their complaints this seems like normal practice for them unfortunately.

Consumer Complaint: I have never had a credit card or any other credit account ever and no such account has ever existed in my name XXXX has put multiple fraudulent accounts that do not belong to me and were not created by me on my consumer report. This has made it hard for me to receive credit or get approved for apartments which is very stressful and XXXX. I have notified them of the accounts resulting from identity theft and requested they be removed within 4 business days as described in 15 usc 1681c-2. I have not given them any reason to decline my request and they have not provided any contract or other evidence that gave them the right to furnish my consumer report with this fraudulent information to begin with .the fair credit report requires the maximum amount of accuracy at all time.

The main difference in out identification is his Date of birth is XX/XX/XXXX and mine is XX/XX/XXXX. Consumer Complaint: I received a bill 3 years after a XXXX was performed, which I paid out of pocket for from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The date of XXXX was XX/XX/XXXX and I received a bill for the first time in the beginning of XXXX. I went back and forth with them, but they kept telling me to call my insurance, except my insurance kept saying to call them. Now, it is impossible to get anyone to answer the phone in the billing department of XXXX XXXX to even dispute this issue. THis is showing up on my credit now and causing a derogatory remark which is hurting my credit. I have left numerous messages and called dozens of times without a return call. I started to research and found that this is something they do a lot via XXXX and everyone is saying the same thing via XXXX reviews. This is not acceptable. This company is banking on it not being possible to reconcile 3 years prior and forcing people to pay money that they didn't owe because they don't want a ding on their credit. This is WRONG.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have attempted to validate a debt with I. C. Systems twice. The first attempt was the mailing of correspondence on or about XX/XX/2022 via first class mail. The tracking number for the delivery of the first notice is XXXX. I waited 30 days and received no response. Then on or about XX/XX/2022, I sent a second request via first class mail. The tracking number for the second notice is XXXX. As of today, no response from this company. This information is listed on my credit report and I would like it removed as the company has failed to provide me with the information to appropriately validate the debt.
