Consumer Complaint: This debt was not removed from my credit report after I sent a dispute letter to the credit bureaus. According to Federal Telecommunications Act ( 47 U.S.C. 415 ) section ( a ) this account has passed the 2-year Statute of Limitations to collect such debt. Note that I called them today ( XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX ) and they admitted knowing the debt is beyond the Statute of Limitations. The original default with XXXX XXXX XXXX happened in XXXX ( 4 years ago ) and has been sold a few times. I am asking that this debt stop being reported on all 3 credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) as it is negatively impacting your credit score.

Consumer Complaint: I was given a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and was put on a plan to pay monthly with the understanding that I wouldn't own the equipment until I had paid a specific dollar amount. My insurance company, XXXX, was also billed and paid for a portion of the equipment. I did pay monthly for a long period of time until the manufacturer XXXX XXXX SENT OUT A RECALL NOTICE stating the equipment was found to be a CARCINOGEN risk and that it had to be returned to my medical provider. Within 3 weeks of that notice I took the equipment back to the medical office that gave it to me, with every accessory that came with it and in the original carrying case. I also provided them a copy of one of the recall notices that I got from XXXX XXXX and a copy of the XXXX XXXX website showing the specific model that I was given. I asked for someone to confirm that my billing would stop and was told that there was nobody available at that time so I instructed the girl at the front desk to discontinue billing me and to discontinue billing my insurance company and I left the recalled equipment in their office. The billing continued to accrue for several months coming to a balance of {$320.00}. I called their office and requested that they cease and desist billing me for a recalled piece of equipment that was potentially cancer causing, and that I had returned to them. When that didn't happen I went INTO their office and told a different receptionist at the front desk to get with whomever was handling insurance billing and stop the billing. She told me that she was the only person in the office besides the doctor, who was with a patient, and made a rude comment about Covid. They continued the billing and then sent my account to a collection agency for the {$320.00}. I have disputed it 4 times with XXXX and both myself and XXXX have provided them with the recall documentation from the manufacturer to verify I didn't just return it and stop paying randomly. The collection agency, XXXX XXXX, continues to respond to the credit bureaus that the debt is owed. I have called, written, e-mailed, disputed and now I am reaching out to CFPB to intervene. I have all the evidence of the recall of the machine, and the equipment was connected to my internet and supposedly reporting until I returned it. They can verify if/when it was being used. Please assist me in getting this erroneous debt off of my credit and that I am treated fairly!!!! On the internet you can SEE THAT IT WAS RECALLED AND DANGEROUS you can see XXXX REVIEWS THAT STATE OTHERS ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUES WITH THE ORIGINAL MEDICAL OFFICE. I don't know what else to do to get help and get this removed from my credit reports. I have provided and requested documentation for any sort of verification. I didn't sign anything at the doctors office and they didn't provide me with a receipt when I returned the equipment. They continued to fraudulently bill my credit card AND DEFRAUD MY INSURANCE COMPANY.

I looked more into only and really many people have had the same issue of these companies showing up in their credit report with false claims of debt collection. Not sure if this is a scam of theirs but it should definitely be looked into just in case. Thank you.

That I needed to contact Collection agency I contacted the collection agency and they have been unable to help me find a solution there only solution is for me to pay the debt. I have explained several times XXXX stated I don't owe. I had sprint more than 5 years ago so regardless this account is passed the Statues of Limitation of California. Also the account number is listed as follows XXXX they are not reporting 100 % accurate information as required by section 609 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Consumer Complaint: their is a collection on my report from IC System stating I owe an XXXX XXXX. I mailed them directly disputing this in which they never responded and never reported the account being in dispute. The letter stated I received your communication/attempt to collect the above-listed alleged debt within 30 days ago. Please be advised that I hereby dispute the validity of the above-listed alleged debt in its entirety. I request verification/validation of the alleged debt and specifically request a copy of a contract or agreement signed by the alleged original creditor and all parties to any such contract provided. Note : a billing statement, notice, or any unsigned document is not verification of the alleged debt. You are on notice that you are unlawfully attempting to collect the above-listed alleged debt. Cease & desist all collection activity, including reporting to consumer reporting agencies ( CRAs ). Providing me the specific verification documents above shall not be deemed collection activity. Further, I request that you promptly delete any and all prior consumer reporting made to any CRAs. If you comply with my cease collection & deletion request, then you are excused from verification. If you opt to provide verification, also provide proof of the chain of title of ownership of the debt. If the alleged debt was acquired by a debt buyer, then proof of chain of title of the alleged debt must be from the alleged original creditor to the current alleged owner without any break in chain. This letter is evidence that may be provided to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ). The CFPB is authorized to fully investigate this matter and receive any information related thereto. Be advised, if you fail to comply with this letter, I may turn the matter over to a consumer attorney.

Consumer Complaint: I have disputed this collection for over 3 years since, XX/XX/2018. I paid my service contract, in full, with XXXX when I ported my XXXX phone numbers to XXXX XXXX XXXX. The phone numbers can not be released by XXXX unless they have a XXXX outstanding balance. The numbers ported to XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX with XXXXXXXX XXXX consent, were : XXXX and XXXX. Both of these phone numbers have been under an XXXX XXXX XXXX service contract under XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, since that day. There was one phone, an XXXX XXXX, that was leased, so I had cleared the memory at XXXX XXXX XXXX store and later, sent the XXXX XXXX XXXX back to XXXX XXXX in the XXXX provided, pre-addressed, Yellow envelope. Over the last 3 years, I have been harassed by at least 3 different collectors on different amounts, for different account bills, and nothing in writing consistent, from XXXX, from the prior collection attempts nor the validation of the new collection amounts. I have always disputed this collection, as I had the paid in full letter sent to the XXXX XXXX XXXX dealer in XXXX, the day we started the new account with XXXX XXXX XXXXin order to be able to get the release of the phone numbers, mentioned earlier, and " ported '' to the new phone service aith XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX. I could only do that with XXXXXXXX XXXX permission and guarantee release of the phone numbers to the new service provider. I pourchased a new phone from XXXX XXXX XXXX in order to be able to return the XXXX XXXX to XXXX in their envelope mailed to me that was bright yellow. Suddenly, XXXX started sending me more envelopes and stating they did not receive the phone. Later that year the collections began for unpaid balance charged for the subsequent month after the phone numbers were ported to XXXX XXXX XXXX. we closed the accounts and the service was not provided by XXXX because they no longer had the phone numbers in their control after releasing them XX/XX/2018. There is no service amount owed, as per the earlier disputes resolved with XXXX. Neither XXXX nor the current collection company, I.C. System Inc., which XXXX has now assigned the debt, for a new amount of {$700.00}, is willing to send me any written explanation of the debt and how they came to that amount, other than for a missing phone and services unpaid. No dates match the duration of my contract and previously the collectors stated the " lost phone '' was actually collected in an insurance claim from sprint with the mail carrier in the prior debt collection attempts. XXXX needs to substantiate this false claim, on the service bill they created falsely, from an account they state was paid in full and cancelled service, and paid in full, prior to my changing cellular companies.
