Consumer Complaint: I'm filing a complaint against XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, I.C. System Inc., and XXXX because there was a collections against that was falsely opened in my name on XX/XX/2022. XXXX claims that I owe a balance of an XXXX XXXX whenever I switched carriers from XXXX to XXXX XXXX. I recently messaged XXXX, and they said that it is IMPOSSIBLE to switch carriers when you owe a balance on a phone, and XXXX XXXX proved that when I opened the account with them, they didn't see any balance owed AND the IMEI was in good standing. Also, when I traded in this XXXX XXXX to an XXXX Store, the IMEI was in good standing. I have a variety of evidence to prove my case. Messages between the two carriers, screenshots of the phone 's IMEI in good standing, as well as the receipt for my traded XXXX XXXX. This has messed up my credit score for a long time, and I wanted this collections account removed.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of Identity Theft. Back in XXXX I went to a shopping center and lost my purse which contains ID 's, money and some personal effects. I did not bother to report since I was too complacent that maybe it was just another petty theft and realized later on the gravity of what happened. Fast forward.. XXXX of this year, for the first time I pulled up my credit report since I am looking for house. I noticed that there was a credit card opened back in XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, a collection account from IC System ( original creditor is XXXX and a medical collection from XXXX ( original creditor is Georgia XXXX XXXX ). The total balance of it all is roughly $ XXXX. I tried reaching out to the companies and even disputed it to the bureaus but they did not take my complaint seriously and ignore it up until now. I already filed an FTC affidavit and I am waiting for the copy of the police report I filed. This kind of matter should not be taken lightly. The unwillingness of the bureaus and the company clearly violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act..

Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act XXXX XXXX IC Systems reported a derogatory debt on my credit report that was already paid to the original creditors XXXX XXXX in 2020 which violated my rights to privacy. Ive tried reaching out to then on several occasions via mail and phone, yet they failed to provide me with verifying proof that this debt is owed to them. Ive spoken with different representatives explaining that I returned all equipment and paid the company directly and they failed to remove this debt from my credit report. 15 USC 1681 section 604A section XXXX : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. This violation has caused me great grief as to my credit score.

I notified IC systems Inc. to no longer contact me through phone call but to contact me and validate the debt via mail they have failed to validate the debt it has been over five days since they have sent return receipt. And they just updated the collection to a chargoff when I notified them this is obscene profanity language being used and they are harassing me causing my anxiety to spike which leads to XXXX. I am trying to rent a home and this adverse information is causing my pain and suffering

Consumer Complaint: Be advised this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice that your claim is disputed and validation is requested. Under the Fair Debt collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I have the right to request validation of the debt you say I owe you. I am requesting proof that I am indeed the party you are asking to pay this debt, and there is some contractual obligation that is binding on me to pay this debt. This is NOT a request for verification or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) of the FDCPA. I respectfully request that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. At this time I will also inform you that if your offices have or continue to report invalidated information to any of the three major credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX ), this action might constitute fraud under both federal and state laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found or continues to report on any of my credit reports by your company or the company you represent, I will not hesitate in bringing legal action against you and your client for the following : Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Defamation of Character. I am sure your legal staff will agree that non-compliance with this request could put your company in serious legal trouble with the FTC and other state or federal agencies. If your offices are able to provide the proper documentation as requested in the following declaration, I will require 30 days to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease and desist. Also, during this validation period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with legal counsel for suit. This includes any listing of any information to a credit-reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated. If your offices fail to respond to this validation request within 30 days from the date of your receipt, all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and a copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I opened a letter from IC systems telling me I needed to pay XXXX dollars for a debt owed to XXXX internet. I was completely unaware of this debt, and upon confirming with XXXX I paid that debt with them that same day on that same phone call. I was then informed a letter would be sent to IC systems that the debt had been paid. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX received notice I had negative activity on my XXXX and XXXX credit reports, it was an open collections from IC system 's for a debt I had paid. I immediately disputed with XXXX and they have removed both the open balance and the collections notice from my credit report, XXXX is stating after my dispute that their information is accurate and I have an open collections debt. When I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX asking if they had sent the letter to IC systems telling them the debt had been paid they told me it had not yet been sent, but it would get to them within 60 days. My credit has been immaculate, I've never missed a payment, am in good standing with all of my creditors and don't believe XXXX got this right. I am potentially moving states for a new job and this negative impact on my credit will greatly affect my life.
