Consumer Complaint: GM Financial is and has been falsely reporting late payments for a period in XXXX when I had a loan with them. I have already filed a complaint once on this and in the response, the late payments that are being reported and challenged were never addressed. They only addressed late payments from XXXX and XXXX which are valid. ALL XXXX LATE PAYMENTS ARE FALSE. I have billing statements proving I made the payments in addition to seeing them in GM Financial 's customer account portal. GM Financial claims they are reporting correctly yet XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX show otherwise. XXXX XXXX XXXX in California even verified they see GM Financial reporting late payments in XXXX when they just recently pulled my credit. Prior to XXXX I had made all on time payments since mid XXXX and continued to do so until XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX and XXXX, during the onset of XXXX, they were offering deferrals for car loan payments. I took advantage of that offer which cleared any need of payments for XXXX and XXXX. I then paid every payments on time ( often early ) from then on out. Any time I have ever called, I get passed around for hours until I magically get disconnected. I don't understand why this is such a fight. All I want is my credit report to show accurately for the year XXXX. I am unable to upload the photos of the account payment history as they are too large. Attached are statements showing I made on-time payments and nothing being past due after XXXX cause of the deferments. Also attached are pictures showing the wrong info being reported for XXXX in XXXX and XXXX. I am unable to show XXXX without paying for it. There is undeniable proof that I made those payments and I should be showing current for all of XXXX. I am adding XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to this as well. Not to directly complain about them but hopefully make them more aware.

Consumer Complaint: I got an auto loan from GM Financial, began paying in XX/XX/XXXX. SKY high interest rate of 14.27 %. First lie : GM said after one year they'd renegotiate to a lower rate. That was a BOLD FACED lie! They switched gears and claimed " oh we don't do that ''. Then I paid payments and over time I realized they were NOT applying the payments correctly. I asked for an exact accounting of principal vs. interest, GM Financial refused to provide that. I have, over time, due to health issues with my wife, a XXXX XXXX survivor and now complicated XXXX/XXXX had several extensions. Each time I was charged fees, but you can not find anywhere where the fees are applied. I asked, GM Financial refused to respond. Then GM Financial agreed to a two month extension, said paperwork was on the way, but reversed course and did nothing. I have asked about lowering the interest rate as promised, they refused. I have paid, before the XX/XX/XXXX payment, XXXX towards the original loan of XXXX. Of that according to the paperwork XXXX was/is interest, BUT they have charged me XXXX interest. I have been CHEATED out of XXXX. When I asked about this they claimed they could not answer that. GM Financial is running a dishonest operation that scams customers.They stonewall, refuse to show payment breakdowns of payments, refuse to lower interest rates, refuse to give you any explanation of questions. They have fuzzy accounting that is worse than loan sharks.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a used XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/21. The vehicle had SO MANY problems, that I had to bring it back within 2-3 days of the purchase! Within the first 30 days of signing the paperwork for the car, the dealership had the vehicle in the repair shop for 27 days!! I asked to cancel the sale and stated I would prefer another vehicle or go somewhere else! I was refused! I've only had this vehicle in my possession for 3 months and I've had to take it back to XXXX XXXX for oil to be added twice, plus I've had to put oil in it myself 3 times!! This vehicle leaks oil, and the drivetrain malfunction light comes on every time I get on the interstate and go over 60 miles per hour!! There isn't a warranty on this vehicle and they knew it had MAJOR issues before selling it!! I told them this vehicle was a LEMON and should not have been on the lot!! As a female, I feel I was taken advantage of and the General Manager has NOT returned any of my calls and replied to any of my emails!

Consumer Complaint: " I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing. I appreciate your effort in getting this matter resolved. Thank you. Please let me know if you need any other information from me to block this information from my credit report. Thank you. "
