Consumer Complaint: I went to get a lease on a truck. I got one sum from the sale person, and at the point of sale I wanted to keep my car. The lease got to be twice the amount, and a down payment. But I keep the car. Now, the truck has been repossed by the loan company. The amount of the lease is as much as it would take to own the truck, and it remains a lease. I got XXXX regections from the loan company, and tried to take the truck back on XXXX differant accations. The lease came throw, and my credit was gone, the day I went into the dealer. So the loan was out of wack, and I have been kicked out of my bank, and I am unable to pay for my lease, I was kicked out a XXXX point. This seems to be timed as to the same kind of timing, the lease and the bank kicking me out at XXXX point. and My credit was over XXXX and now, and at the time the loan was processed, not good enough to get a loan and the company still gave me the loan at twice the price and a down payment, After regection XXXX times.

Consumer Complaint: I co-signed a auto loan for my cousin. After 6 months she refinanced the vehicle. I was told everything would be taken care of. She refinanced and one day I get a call saying that the car note is late. I was shocked because I thought she 'd refinanced. So the truck was repossessed and now it 's on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX, I mistakenly traded my XXXX for a XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX in XXXX Illinois. I should have returned the vehicle and waited until they surrendered my keys to my car, but not knowing better, I stuck with the car feeling that the interest rate was already too high - and the payment, too. It was 17 % or so, but the real shoe dropped the following week : the dealership Fed exed to my work a change in the interest rate to 25 %. Since I could n't return the vehicle and was living on XXXX income and no child support as a single parent, I had to sign it. I was utterly alone because even those who were telling me to return the car were powerless to help me. I ended up paying for the car, and through a series of personal misfortunes, lost that job and the car ended up failing. Turns out the car was a time bomb : the engine was a design requiring the timing belt is changed before a certain mileage and it snapped breaking irreparably. The car was repossessed in XXXX. With a sticker price of {$13000.00} or so, the GM financial company claimed I still owed them just over {$6000.00}. They sold the car at auction for {$1000.00}, somehow I ended up owing them {$7500.00} even though they claimed that the amount was deducted from the loan! The truth was I 'd had to give them numerous late payments and deferments- with a late payment of {$120.00} a pop and numerous other " fees '' including rude and ruthless " customer service '' people, the company who held my loan, Americredit ( later dissolved bought by GM Financial, probably because they 'd taken so many people for a ride that they were being sued and no longer raking in the cash ) made sure that I was ALWAYS on the hotbed for repossession. They threatened, cajoled and I 'm pretty sure that this company had NO interest in the car I needed, rather they wanted that money- that was their goal and they made it clear they 'd take it every time I spoke to them. I found out later that this state Illinois has no limits to it 's loan sharking- other than recent limits to payday and title loans. This state tolerates usury- I was essentially forced to sign a contract against my will since I 'd asked for my car back before this whole thing unfolded! I think that car companies should HAVE to use banks. I am SO TIRED of hearing about the woes of the car companies : our Federal government bought it out to save it, but GM? They are threatening to SUE me! I have no money for them! I 'm XXXX, I have XXXX kids, I 've been working to get a degree ( with Fed backed loans, why ca n't anyone get a loan for a car with bad credit for a car, huh? People need cars! ) and I ca n't buy a home till this loan goes away. Our government is supposed to protect us from this kind of thing, yet it seems to spend more time protecting the companies and the wealthy people who own them. I 'd have to dig out the bills I purposely saved to send you which I could do at a later time, but I found this link and felt compelled to write my story. Thanks for listening.

Consumer Complaint: The name of the Financial institution is GMFinancial in Texas, XX/XX/XXXX I bought a brand new Vehicle a Toyota Tacoma XXXX, GMFinancial was the finance company, it cost me about {$47000.00} dollars, XX/XX/XXXX I begin to feel ill, XX/XX/XXXX I left my job I could not continue working no more, the Doctors Declared me XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I was collecting XXXX very limited income compared to your salary Job, I struggle to make the payments of the vehicle but I barely made it until XX/XX/XXXX I call GMFinancial to let them know of my situation they did not help me, I was behind in my payments close to 3 month, This is where is gets QUESTIONABLE, XX/XX/XXXX they could not wait any longer even I told them I got someone who will be able to loan me the money to pay you the 3 month I am behind and get up to date with you, NO they did not wait they came to Repossessed the vehicle with only {$6000.00} balance to pay it off, it hurts me a lot Not because I am attach to material things but I was informing the company of my situation based on that the balance was few thousand dollars and the fact I was working hard to get someone to loan me the money at least they should waited a little longer, they got the vehicle they took it, the later they advise they were going to sell the vehicle to pay off the {$6000.00} dollars balance. THEY SOLD THE VEHICLE THEY NEVER EVER TOLD ME HOW MUCH THEY SOLD THE TOYOTA TACOMA XXXX FOR? THEY SENT ME A CHECK FOR ALMOST {$8000.00} DOLLARS AFTER THEY SOLD IT. I left it alone, on XX/XX/XXXX I found out that my Identity was stolen them I begin to search and request my XXXX Credit Free Annual Reports, this is when I begin to discover many issues in my Credit, from accounts that were not mine, alter Information, account balances that were not the correct one 's etc. them I discover that GMFinancial how Cynical they were after they knew I had a Verifiable XXXX Status they Punish me by declaring to the Credit Report Bureaus that my Account that I had with them they declared as a Charge Off/Paid THE CYNICAL WERE ABLE TO REPOSSESS THE VEHICLE, SOLD IT GOD KNOWS HOW MUCH AND RUIN ME WITH THE XXXX CREDIT BUREAUS, IF THEY SOLD THE VEHICLE AND PAY OFF THE BALANCE I LEFT OF {$6000.00} DOLLARS WHY? THEY HAD DECLARED AS A CHARGE OFF WHEN THEY GOT THE MONEY IN THEIR POCKET MAY BE EVEN MORE MONEY THAT WERE NOT RETURNED BACK TO ME. IN FACT I HAD MORE POWER OVER THE VEHICLE SINCE I HAD PAY THEM ALREADY {$41000.00}. My Problem is since they were not able to help me to remove the CHARGE OFF because they do n't want to, knowing that they sold the Vehicle pay off the balance I left out therefore there were not lost here. I am the one who lost the Vehicle, Lost Money during the sale of the Vehicle that GMFinancial did, without letting me know how much was the bill of sale until today is unknown, on top they put a derogative remark on my credit report with the Charge off. THIS IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH WITH YOU, FIRST OFF THEY NEED TO RELEASE THE BILL OF SALE, HOW MUCH THEY SOLD THE TOYOTA TACOMA XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE CHARGE OFF REMOVED, IS CREATING PROBLEMS TO MY CREDIT WHEN IN FACT THE ACCOUNT WAS PAIS OFF ALREADY WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS TO PUNISHING ME BECAUSE I GOT SICK AND BECAME XXXX, I AM XXXX INDIVIDUAL FOR LIFE, I FEEL PUNISH BY GMFINANCIAL, CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO SEE IF YOU FIND ANY ISSUES AS FAR AS ABUSING THE CONSUMER OF VIOLATIONS TO CONSUMER LAW. I WANT TO GET A REFUND FOR THE MONEY THAT THEY DID NOT RELEASE TO ME, WHEN THEY SOLD THE VEHICLE, I BELIEVE THAT IS MY RIGHT TO KNOW HOW MUCH WAS THE EXACT AMOUNT THEY SOLD THE VEHICLE FOR, SINCE THEY PAID OFF THE {$6000.00} OF THE SALE OF THE VEHICLE IS FAIR FOR THEM TO REMOVED THE NEGATIVE REMARK IN MY CREDIT REPORT, THE 3 MONTH LATE WAS NOT INTENTIONAL.
