Consumer Complaint: To my knowledge, I was never late on my GM Financial lease with account number XXXX****. But I realized that I was reported as being 30 days past due in XX/XX/XXXX which is not true so I am asking as a long time customer for this error to be fixed. I have had this auto lease since XX/XX/XXXX with no late payments and not sure why all of a sudden I was reported late. I would have never known unless I looked at my credit report. Nobody ever told me I was late. To my knowledge, I have always had 100 % positive payment history and have not only tried to pay way before my due date.

Consumer Complaint: There are two issues, 1 ) GM Financial migrated their payment system to a new platform. There were significant challenges and it was confusing and this created issues with accessing the site and making payments. The CEO indicated they would not report late payments, but they did. I have a 30-day late on my credit report and GM Financial has refused to update my credit report. 2 ) I decided to pay my lease off in XXXX ; I have no desire to ever do business with them - I simply wanted them out of my life. I made a payment over the amount due. I verified on my next statement, XXXX and confirmed, there were " zero remaining payments '' on my lease and XXXX amount was due.I decided to check XXXX, because I've been bamboozled by them in the past. The landing page showed two different amounts due and the statement showed I had another payment. I contacted GM Financial via chat. The rep refused to explain why my statement in XXXX said I had XXXX remaining and had no explanation for the other two amounts. She insisted I just pay the {$390.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I bought out my XXXX XXXX XXXX from GM Financial on XX/XX/2019. They collected sales tax from me and they have not remitted the sales tax to XXXX. I contacted them on XX/XX/2019 and XX/XX/2019 and they told me it was my fault and that I have to fix it and pay late fees. Apparently they wrongly paid XXXX the sales tax even though they had my XXXX address updated. I had properly notified them of moving over a year ago and even had to get a notarized power of attorney from them to register the car in XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: My Dad, XXXX XXXX, of XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Mi died on XX/XX/2018. He had a lease with XXXX. Within two weeks we dropped off the car at the dealership. Unfortunately, the lines were down the day the salesman tried to dock the vehicle with XXXX. He did not give me a receipt. We didn't think anything of it because we knew the car was turned in. Then they continued charging the lease payments for several months after and have stated that my XXXX 's estate owes the remaining balance of the lease. We have attempted to contact GM financial on many occasions to have this resolved. Every time they say " You're set '' and yet we still have this unresolved. So I am reaching out to get this taken care of. Our father has passed away, there is no reason they should not have taken care of this. Thank you for your help.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial sent an amount due to the credit bureaus for my final settlement invoice related to my lease turn in without ever informing me of the amount due, when it was due, and providing a reason as to why they reported it. Further, when talking to the GM Financial customer support, they keep saying that the final invoice will come in 90 days after lease turn-in, but then it would make no sense for them to report anything to the credit bureaus about financial information on the account since nothing is due. I'm concerned that they will deem the amount overdue and then it will hurt my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I leased a vehicle from GM-financial. After returning the car to the dealership I was waiting for a final bill. I would call them periodically to find out whats going on and they told me that the dealer hasnt docked my car which i think means the dealer hasnt returned it to the leasing lender. About 3 months later I was billed and paid the bill right away. GM-Financial has reported a late payment on my credit report. ( Less then {$10.00} ) This late payment affected my score drastically as it lowered it by more then 50 points. I have disputed the late payment with the credit Bureaus and the late payment was removed but showed up again a month later as if the lenders system pushes it back in there automatically. This has been done twice. I spoke to GM financial over the phone multiple times this past year. They have mailed back and forth with their credit department and I was told the credit department has removed the late payment from my report. For some reason this late payment still shows up on my credit report.
