Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I was notified that my FICO score had suddenly dropped nearly 100 points. As a responsible consumer with impeccable credit, I immediately requested my credit reports from all 3 credit bureaus. I discovered that GM Financial had reported a 60-day delinquency for XX/XX/XXXXand XX/XX/XXXX on the lease turn-in ( final balance of {$1500.00} ) of my former vehicle ( a XXXX XXXX ). This balance was completely unknown to me, as I turned it in on XX/XX/XXXX ( while leasing a new XXXX XXXX ) with the understanding from the salesman that he had figured the remaining balance of the XXXX to be rolled in to the new vehicle payment. In my new vehicle, I drove away from the dealership with the understanding that the lease turn-in of the XXXX XXXX was completely settled. The salesman ( or the financing dept at the dealership ) never told me to personally contact GM Financial about anything whatsoever. The salesman obviously did not roll the remaining balance in to the new car payment. When GM Financial sent a final bill ( of {$1500.00} ), one final bill was sent to an old address on the account. As a result, I have never received the final bill to this day. However, the statements for my new XXXX XXXX were indeed ( and still are ) coming to my current address that they do have on file at GM Financial. I did pay the remaining balance of {$1500.00} immediately over the phone to GM Financial on XX/XX/XXXX. Although GM Financial made an error in mailing the final bill to the wrong address, they REFUSE to remove the FALSE 60-day delinquency that is still showing on my credit reports with XXXX and XXXX. I filed complaints with all 3 credit bureaus in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX is the only bureau that corrected the problem and removed the 60-day delinquency for me. I have made endless calls to GM Financial on this matter and I have filed several complaints with XXXX and XXXX. Yet they refuse to remove the false 60-day delinquency showing for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. They only " Updated '' it as paid off as of XX/XX/XXXX. This is not acceptable as it is easy to see that I have had impeccable credit for all of my credit history of over 20 years. GM Financial claims that I should have called them when I turned-in the XXXX XXXX. How would I know to call them, when I had every confidence that the entire transaction was being handled by my salesman and dealership? The salesman ( or the dealership financing department ) never told me to call GM Financial about anything. Additionally, my billing statements for my new XXXX XXXX were coming to my current address. So why did they send one final bill of {$1500.00} to an OLD address? I have never received it and I did not know to expect it. GM Financial is falsely characterizing me as a negligent consumer by refusing to remove the 60-day false delinquency from my credit report. Whereas, I am nothing but a responsible consumer.

Consumer Complaint: I called on Tuesday, XX/XX/2019 and requested a deferment ( XX/XX/2019 and XX/XX/2019 payments ) due to a financial hardship. I spoke to a lady and she read the deferment agreement and informed me of my pin number, XXXX, and informed me that I would be emailed a deferment acknowledgment and I need to acknowledge within 24 hours as the pin expires. I received the email on Wednesday, XX/XX/2019 and I completed the acknowledgement from my mobile device and I landed on the " Document Acknowledged '' page. On XX/XX/2019, I received an alert that GM reported my XX/XX/2019 payment late. I called on XX/XX/2019 to figure out why, and the representative stated that the deferment was abandoned. I was confused as I completed the acknowledgement on my phone and that is when she informed me that I couldn't use a mobile device. She said that she would have to reset it up. I received a new pin, XXXX, and I completed the acknowledgement again, this time, on my laptop. I am requesting my credit is updated to current as this is an UDAAP violation as I was not informed that I could not use a mobile device on XX/XX/2019, nor when I completed the acknowledgment on XX/XX/2019 was I notified that it was not successful, therefore, misleading me to believe I completed the deferment successfully. Please call me at XXXX or email me at XXXX to discuss.

Consumer Complaint: I turned in a XX/XX/XXXX XXXX ( in lease ) for a new GMC XXXX. 3 months later my credit score dropped 90+ points. The credit check showed that GM financial put the a ding on my credit for 3 months past due on my old lease/ I called GM Financial and they said my dealer still owed {$42.00} on my returned car. I asked for a statement, as I recieved no notification from GM about this. They couldn't even say what it was for. The said they would fix it and my credit report would show nothing happened. We are now 6 months into it and my credit report has not improved. Still no explanation. I finally spoke with the dealership owner and they could find no information on what the " past due '' balance was about. They never received any invoice other than what GM Financing sent them at closing. I have copies of the invoice and the check. Now the dealer has paid GM Financial the supposed {$42.00} for the unknown charge. This may fix the mystery outstanding balance, but I am concerned that the blip on my credit will not be removed and my credit score will not return to its original number. When I ordered all three credit reports XXXX the three bad marks are the only ones in my entire credit history which I have worked hard to maintain.

Consumer Complaint: This account was not originally disputed, but it is no longer valid. It has been paid in full since XX/XX/XXXX and has had a XXXX balance ever since. I have disputed this report on numerous occasions by phone and in writing, which should not be reason to have it remain on my credit reports. Written request from XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, through this year have been ignored. I can not get anyone to respond and there has been no resolution. I am being penalized on my mortgage loan and need immediate action from this lender by removal of this long since paid off account from all three reporting agencies.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX - Mailed, via Certified Mail with return receipt, a cashier 's check for the payoff amount to GM Financial, also enclosed with a contract that clearly stated the execution of the enclosed funds would constitute agreement to and acceptance of the terms of the stated contract. Those terms included marking the account as paid in full, removal of all derogatory remarks from all reporting agencies and cease all collection attempts. ( Original contract and copies of executed funds included in files ) XX/XX/XXXX - Certified Letter and funds were received by and signed for by a representative at GM Financial. XX/XX/XXXX - Cashier 's Check for full payoff amount, with contract stamped below signature line, was executed and deposited for payment. XX/XX/XXXX - GM Financial was made whole by the settlement of the cashier 's check. ( Copy of check with stamp and signature included in files ) XX/XX/XXXX - Received a letter from GM Financial acknowledging receipt of payment and the settlement of the the account in full. ( Copy of letter included in the files ) XX/XX/XXXX - GM Financial fails to perform on the agreement to remove all negative items from all reporting agencies within 30 days of executing the contract via their signature on the check and the cashing of those funds. XX/XX/XXXX - GM Financial continues to report the account negatively and even in the month of the payoff posted the account as delinquent, this has continued to be the reporting status month after month since the payoff. GM Financial has failed to perform on the agreement they entered into by signature on the check to remove any and all negative items from any and all reporting agencies. Furthermore, the agreement stated should they dishonor the contract or violate its terms they agree to compensate me in the amount deemed reasonable by the court and that this agreement is a Cognitive Contract and they agree to Summary Judgement against them.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2016, I entered into a purchase agreement of a XXXX XXXX XXXX with GM Financial. In the same year I had to declare bankruptcy, chapter XXXX which became discharged in XX/XX/XXXX of the same year. I decided to keep the XXXX and continued making payments. I will attach each statement I was able to download through GM 's sight. I have taken my financial obligations very seriously since the bankruptcy and have tried to get my credit back to the 700-800 range. I am finding it very difficult to do so and have now had to hire a credit repair service because the scores remain stuck in the 678 range. I have been in the XXXX XXXX for the past 16 years and am very aware of how the algorithms for mortgage lending work. Only a few are approved through XXXX XXXX and licensed originators all use the exact same ones. It is a shame that consumer reporting agencies use other ones, but that's not the point. I feel GM has directly violated the FCRA by not reporting anything to the credit bureaus since XX/XX/2016 and are not threating to do so illegally. I have direct email correspondence in email through a team lead there at GM stating a repossession order is going into effect at the end of next month. I tried to make a payment and setup a payment plan for at least three to four hours this morning and have found out why it has been unsuccessful. I have proof of the payments I made in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and question why two reps at GM have told me the repossession order was already in effect. In attempting to make a payment through GM, this was the case too as I was blocked. Finally the last rep I spoke with confirmed the order and after transferring me to XXXX XXXX fast pay ( or something like that ) it was all confirmed because the rep there said this account was in repossession status. The order has been set in motion so I decided to pull off the road and park the vehicle somewhere safe and notify them of its location. I informed the store and they were ok with me leaving it there. It is right across from a police precinct in plain view safely parked. I walked 5 miles home and wonder how this is legal.

Consumer Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found 30 days late payment on the dates XX/XX/2017. I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me.
