Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2020, I turned in a leased vehicle to GM Financial as the lease was up. A final bill for the disposition fee was not sent to us for a few months, which we received in XX/XX/2020. I called GM to see if we were able to make payments on it instead of paying in full as that is what we have done with those fees previously. The agent said absolutely, no problem. It is now showing as a late payment on my credit report. I was NEVER told that it would be reported on my credit report as a late payment if I didn't pay in full, so why would the agent falsify that it was ok to make payments on it? In addition, GM has sent no correspondence to us that it would be reported on our credit if not payed in full either. I payed in full the remaining balance today as I can not afford another late payment on my credit from GM financial for the disposition fee. I have leased vehicles with them for 10 years now but if this is how situations are handled, I will likely not be a repeat customer.

Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX believes in the credit reporting system as the most important element to the success of the commercial banking system. I am also a proponent of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) as a tool to streamline issues on credit reports that may be dragging down my overall scores. Accordingly, I address each particular issue directly with the creditor in question, before submitting any complaint to the credit bureaus if necessary. Therefore, I desire the following reinvestigation as follows : 1 ) On accounts where late payments are posted, I respectfully request a review of the past payment history and to ascertain if certain payments could actually have been posted late because of an overlap on the 30-days grace period. I realize that this may happen on occasion, and I request only a summary review internally, and do not require any documentation. 2 ) On any account that falls within the 84-month negative reporting timeline, I respectfully request either the deletion of the account if said account was closed, or the elimination of the prior payment if the account it is still active, this is well within the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) guidelines pertaining to obsolete information. 3 ) Any collections must be proved if either a direct collection and/or debt purchase. In either event I request that a true original copy of right to pursue collection be established with each respective credit reporting agency, and if a debt purchase the guidelines proving transfer of ownership must be submitted to all credit bureaus as well as me personally to validate ownership and the right to collect. I am well within my rights requesting proper documentation as administered through the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) and the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ), in addition to the even stricter guidelines enforced by the office of attorney general in my state of domicile. I respectfully request each investigation to be reported to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX within a reasonable time period, hopefully 30-days. I realize that the current Covid-19 crisis could cause delays, so the best efforts of each financial institution and collection agency will be appreciated under the current circumstances. XXXX XXXX

The buyer was forced to do so under void of contract despite already having possession of the automobile with an open account and another credit inquiry was generated. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX my car that was financed through GM Financial was repossessed while I was XXXX. Due to me being out of the country there were several personal items and a cashiers check ( rent payment ) left in the car for a friend to retrieve. I NEVER received any of these items ( illegal in VA ). I also NEVER received any documentation regarding the sale of the vehicle ( illegal in VA ) or the amount owed. After returning from XXXX I tried reporting the car stolen but was notified by local police that the car was taken by GM Financial. I have tried disputing this account on several occasions for several different reason because the company is reporting different information to all of the credit bureaus. My XXXX was updated ( XX/XX/XXXX ) that the high balance on the account is XXXX. The last activity for XXXX is showing XX/XX/XXXX. My XXXX was updated on ( XX/XX/XXXX ) with 54 charge-offs reported and a high balance of XXXX that was charged off. The past due balance shows {$7200.00} and the last activity shows XX/XX/XXXX. The account was deleted from my XXXX account in XXXX. I am attaching screenshots that GM Financial is blatantly reporting inaccurate information to the credit bureaus which is ILLEGAL. Their actions have caused my score to drop 15 points and has put my mortgage approval in jeopardy. I have already filed a complaint on XXXX because the information clearly was not properly verified. I am requesting that GM Financial expeditiously remove this inaccurate information from my credit reports IMMEDIATELY. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and clearance requires that I accurately report any debt or delinquencies. This information changes so much which makes this requirement impossible.

Consumer Complaint: Due to COVID 19, I was out of work from XXXX XXXX mid XX/XX/2020, I called the GM financial and made them aware they delayed my payment by two months. I received a notice in XXXX that my account was past due, I called as if I could get another extension and was advised that they only extend by two months. Unfortunately, I was not at work and couldn't pay it. Now it is XXXX and I'm behind almost 30 days because they never granted the extension or acknowledged that people can still be out of work do to this pandemic. I called a few times to no avail. I even put in a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX where GM financial sent me a copy of my agreement, which I am well aware of!

Consumer Complaint: I prepaid entire lease in full as he brought the car. When lease ended in XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to return it to the dealership But the dealership, XXXX XXXX GM went out of business I went to several dealerships,, XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX and no one would take car. I called gm and they said try XXXX XXXX GM I went to XXXX XXXX, gave them the car, they didnt give me a receipt and they had nothing for me to sign. I asked who does he need to pay, and the dealer said, they didnt now and that GM would send a bill and for to wait for it In XX/XX/XXXX I received bill from GM and paid bill. A month or two after a {$80.00} bill came and he immediately paid. In XXXX I ran my credit and it shows late payments. No notice of past due amounts were sent, no phone calls were made and for no reason I was marked late. After he paid he got another bill on XXXX stating {$35.00} more is due ( see bill in folder )
